4 End of Season Team Tributes Shot Gun, Bang SGB will be remembered as the Rookies of the Year. They were the best dressed team for many theme nights and certainly utilized their tshirt color choice bright orange is awesome and keeps you safe too! Thanks for the playoff cupcakes! They rocked the Michael Scott faces to show their spirit and the little blonde girl on their team is a crazy good dancer. D F

5 Balltastic Voyage Come on y all lets take a ride It s the Superhero leagues playoff time The team in Purple is taking a trip Versus the Shot Gun Bang, their orange is hip The orange led up and they jumped out quick Scoring one run with a well placed kick The Balltastic came back with three quick runs In the bottom of the first, that s how we get it done There is no slack in the Balltastic attack Playing supurb defense is the Balltastic s nack The runs kept coming, we played a flawless game The purple people are relentless, we ll make you insane Watch out round two opponents, we on a mission Come along and ride on a Balltastic Voyage Bunt, bunt, sac fly The Balltastic s strategy can t be denied Come along and ride on a Balltastic Voyage Bunt, bunt, sac fly Nobody s gonna stop us as we march on by The second round started versus the defending champs With VD s game there ain t no setting up camps The Balltastic started as the team on the road Kicking first with VD playing as home The purple scored three, one in each of the first three innings They held the champs scoreless, I ain t kidding The game was intense, all the plays were close The defense was great, Balltastic was getting close In the Bottom of the fifth the score was three to zero VD started to make a run, they scored a quick two The great Balltastic defense turned a double play And then Jenn made an epic catch going away The team stormed the field, It was a great success Both teams they beat really put forth their best The Balltastic moves on to play in the semi finals You d better watch out, this team can play for miles BV will be remembered as the spirit week winners! and they re not too bad at kickball either, upsetting the reigning champs VD. We hope to see the banners and purple bandanas back on the fields next Spring! 6 We ve Got the Runs WGTR will be remembered for their jorts (pictured at right) and drink of choice: Jager. Baby blue, we appreciate your zest for kickball and of your level of wasted-ness. Buzzed Again & Looking to Score BAALTS will be remembered as the new kids who grew up so fast! Awesome improvement throughout the season for newbie ballers. And they had that gumby girl that won the limbo contest. Thanks for always being there to help set up (& bringing an umbrella). VD will be remembered as the most intense sloshball proponents during the regular season, for their amazing team banner, and as the reigning champions. Vicious & Delicious

7 Off Constantly OC will be remembered as the team that finally killed the you can t beat jokes through hysterical GMOT submissions that were always worth reading! and for their girly drink of choice: Twisted Tea. Yay Timmaaay! Bases are Loaded and so are We BL will be remembered for ICING the entire SMYK team (and showing up as them for Halloween), their professionally pimped tshirts, their amazing team cooler and for their dude with sweet yellow cleats (yeah we all want them).

9 NDW- No Dead Weight NDW will be remembered for bringing the 30 for $100 Velvet Elvis special to 51 Wharf St, and their relentless pursuit of Las Vegasness. Definitely winners of the Down to Business award this season. Show Me Your Kicks SMYK will be remembered for their awesome charity tournament representation, and playing some epic games this season. Sometimes the Irish green is a lucky charm, other times its just a symbol to booze it hard! All around fun team. Thanks to All Teams for making this a great season!

10 Playoff Predictions: Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to week 2 of Waka Kickball Playoffs! This week we have the FINAL 4, these teams have worked very hard to get here but only 1 can be named champion!! Here are the predictions for this week s games. SMYK vs NDW SMYK played a hell of a game vs. Off Constantly last week. Both teams battled hard and SMYK came out with a strong victory. They are going up against #1 seed No Dead Weight and its going to be a tough game for SMYK. They are going to have to play perfect if they are going to have any shots of beating NDW. Led by Super Captains Thomas Doucette and Aaron MacArthur SMYK should come out ready to play. NDW features pitching ace Kerry Robbillard and a very strong defense. Prediction NDW 11-3 Balltastic Voyage vs. Bases Loaded Folks this is going to be a hell of game. The first meeting of the two, Bases Loaded managed to only squeak out a 2-0 victory but Balltastic is coming off an upset victory over Vicious Delicious and they want to continue their Cinderella like run against Bases Loaded. BV is going to rely heavily on the arm of Ryan Francis. If they can keep the errors at a minimum and keep the BL base runners from advancing extra bases than they can keep this game close. However, BV will be facing Travis Jordan for the first time this year and this could be the difference maker. Prediction Bases Loaded 6-2 Championship BASES LOADED VS NDW The first meeting between the two NDW dismantled Bases Loaded. It felt like a merry-goround seeing the NDW players round the bases over and over again. What s scary is that both teams weren t at full strength. Bases Loaded is looking to keep this game a lot closer this time around and with a full squad they should make this game more competitive. Prediction NDW 5-2 Bronze Medal Game SMYK vs. BV SMYK 27 BV 19 (sloshball) Spectators are encouraged to come out and cheer for their favorites! Don t forget the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP game between Lighthouse Champs and Superhero Champs will start at 8pm. You won t want to miss it!.may the best team WIN!
