Presented by Kyle Bateman Our playing fields are run by the City of Jacksonville, so we need to pay close attention to their rules to ensure we will have fields to play on for the season. Pets: Pets are not allowed at the park. Please make plans to keep your pets at home or we will have to ask you and your pet to leave. Beverages: Alcoholic beverage containers are not allowed at the park at any time, this includes the fields & parking lots. No glass containers or bottles of any kind are allowed on the fields. Coolers, Funnels, Kegs and Party Balls or anything that seems fun are not allowed on the fields. You are required to keep all beverages in bubba kegs, thermos bottles, solo cups, or anything that cannot be seen through. Clear colored or see through cups are not allowed, please purchase solid colored solo cups. Anyone in violation of the beverage policy will be asked to leave the premises and may be suspended for the remainder of the season. Please do not be the guy/gal walking in with a case of beer wrapped in a plastic bag or something. That is NOT ok. Other Activities: Due to general safety and liability reasons; no other sports may be played at a WAKA permitted field just prior to or during the games. That includes Sparklers, Flame throwers, Molotov Cocktails and anything else you can think of. Trash: All trash must be picked up before you leave the field. Trash cans are available throughout the park. Your CSR will also have trash bags available as well. Restrooms: We have a Port-A-Potty for our use at Gonzalez Park. Use it. Do not use the caveman method and do your business in bushes or even worse in the open. You may get a ticket and we may lose the permit to use the park! Parking: Park only in marked spaces or areas designated by the park. Parking on roads, on the curb, or on the sidewalk in unmarked spots may result in a parking ticket. AFTER PARTY INFO 8

6 POWER RANKINGS 1. Frequency The Returning Champs all-star smorgasbord is back with a new name, but the same old game. They look to capture the golden kickball through total domination. They ll crush some dreams, they ll show the playground what s up, and they ll hustle to home plate. Starting off against a strong Body By Kickball squad will set a major tone for the season. With the #1 spot up for grabs, let s hope these veteran squads didn t build up any rust over the holidays. 2. Body By Kickball BBK is back and seeking vengeance from last year s title match loss. They may wear 15 different colored fonts, but they are one united team with a ton of talent and experience. Anyone hoping to hoist the Golden Kickball is going to have to go through BBK and then pry it from Elena s clutches. First up on their list is Frequency and getting a jump on that #1 spot. 3. Don't Give a Flock This team flew in from out of nowhere and picked up some impressive veteran talent. Perhaps they DGAF or maybe they re looking to compete and show they belong in the discussion for a Golden Kickball. Will their pieces mesh fast enough to pull ahead early and carve up some Kickin and Waffles? 4. Kickin and Waffles Everyone s favorite kickball brunch is back and looking to get their fill of Championship glory. They brought some familiar faces and talented legs with them, but is there enough space for two Napoleons in this army? We ll see how that dynamic shakes out as K&W goes toe to toe with the Flock of Indifference above them. 5. Little Flicks to the Kick The revolving door of captains and names finally stopped spinning and gave us this squad of savvy kickball partiers who know how to have a good time while being a thorn in other teams side. They ll impose their will and little flicks to Can t Come On My Base in their season opener. I guess we ll find out how sensitive their kick is. 8. Money Shots By fusing two of the most fratboy sounding named friend groups, we created Money Shots. They look to blend some kickball experience, athletic prowess, and party expertise into one hell of a weekend experience. They ve got legs and ladies to hang in and make it interesting for Chug Norris. 9. Can't Come on my Base Challenge accepted! This team will be looking to make a name for itself and keep people off that 4th base throughout the season. Do they have the firepower to hang with the big dogs in the league? First shot to stand their ground comes against Little Flicks to the Kick. 10. Basic Pitches BP is bringing a little more than just some basic talent. They ve got some athletes and are looking to make a statement. We saw a few guys making big plays during the pickup games are interested to see how it all comes together as a team. They could be dangerous. We might need to change their name to Boss Ass Pitches by the end of the season. 11. Chug Norris They came in last year and gave some teams fits. They play hard and party harder. With one of the better names of the season and some decent athletes, we d love to see this team make a climb and get their shot at kickball immortality. At the very least, we hope for plenty of sweet Chuck Norris jokes. Up first for some sweet Delta Force style action is Money Shots. 12. Big Booty Pitches More like Big Ass Roster! If you can t make the best roster on paper, I guess you might as well make the biggest. Now it ll be ironic if you re the only team that ends up forfeiting a game this season. All joking aside, this squad has some people who have been around the diamond a few time and could create some upsets. Let s see how they fare against the other ridiculously sized team in JB Boozter Club. 6. Jumbo Shrimp We would much rather just embed a video of Bubba telling you all the wonderful things about shrimp, but apparently that ll have to wait til the 22nd century. This team has the equal split of a middle school dance. Can they come together to wreck some havoc on the kickball field? I guess Basic Pitches will be the first to find out? Kickball s never been hotter with the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp 7. JB Boozter Club Oh that s clever. Great name and GREAT GOD WHY do you have so many people? You win the largest team award unless Donald and his Big Booty Pitches have some last minute ringers they are bringing in. These small armies clash in week one in what is sure to be the most crowded bench area of the season.
