2 DA BIDNESS GMOT STAFF Our playing fields are run by the First Coast Soccer Association so we need to pay close attention to their rules to ensure we will have fields to play on for the season. Beverages: Alcoholic beverage containers are not allowed at the park at any time, this includes the fields & parking lots. No glass containers or bottles of any kind are allowed on the fields. Coolers, Funnels, Kegs and Party Balls or anything that seems fun are not allowed on the fields. You are required to keep all beverages in bubba kegs, thermos bottles, solo cups, or anything that cannot be seen through. Clear colored or see through cups are not allowed, please purchase solid colored solo cups. Anyone in violation of the beverage policy will be asked to leave the premises and may be suspended for the remainder of the sea son. Please do not be the guy/gal walking in with a case of beer wrapped in a plastic bag or something. That is NOT ok. That means no tossing a football around or kicking a soccer ball etc. Fireworks: Absolutely no fireworks of any kind are allowed on or near our fields. That includes Sparklers, Flame throwers, Molotov Cocktails and anything else you can think of. Trash: All trash must be picked up before you leave the field. Trash cans are available throughout the park. Your CSR will also have trash bags available as well. Rest Rooms: Patton Park has two restrooms at the front of the field, use it. Do not use the caveman method and do your business in bushes or even worse in the open. You may get a ticket and we may lose the permit to use the park! Parking: Park only in marked spaces or areas designated by the park. Parking on roads, on the curb, or on the sidewalk in unmarked spots may result in a parking ticket.

6 POWER RANKINGS 1. Dream Crushers They were at it again last Friday, crushing Grass Clowns kickball dreams starting in the first inning and continuing on through the game. They got up 7 early and then blacked out the last two innings and allowed Grass Clowns to get within 2. They still were able to pull out the win but everyone is a bit concerned with their end of game focus and finishing abilities. 2. WAKA Shame The Shamesters put another team through the Walk and have won their way to 3-0. Great start for this squad and they ve got their hands full with the Dream Crushers this week. Will they be able to make the Dream Crushers take the Walk or will their kickball dreams for week 4 be crushed? 3. Grass Clowns They lost and at first glance it appears they were the ones clowned in this game but they kind of weren t? They were down big and came roaring back late and made a game out of what seemed to be a blowout. I guess they were just clowning around earlier in the game and finally got things together and got some momentum. We say they probably felt good about this loss. 4. Palm Valley Pimps They got a crazy comeback win against the Wasians. Down four runs early the Pimps were able to smack each other around and get themselves in check. Once the Pimps got themselves in line, the runs started pouring in and a win occurred. Not sure how to Power Rank the Wasians, Pimps, and Ball the Way as Ball the Way beat the Pimps, the Wasians beat Ball the Way and now the Pimps beat the Wasians so I just rank the most recent the highest. 5. Wasians They were handling their business early showing the PVP s whose territory this is but then the wheels came off and the Pimps laid the smack down and ended up with the win. The Wasians are still off to a great start and seem to be a strong team. We ll keep a close eye to make sure they are really as strong as their record currently shows. 6. Ball the Way Turnt Up Got a win this week against Snitches Get Pitches and got moved down in the Power Rankings. How about that? You mad bro? We know. We ll go ahead and apologize now and hope they understand why. They lost to the Wasians, who got beat by the Pimps, who they beat but since the Pimps won more recently we ranked them the highest. Simple math right? They re still 6 th and they still are Ball the way Turnt up, that should be all that matters. 7. Kickheads Squeezed out a win against the winless Saved by the Balls. A win is a win but man that was close. Much needed victory for the Kickheads. They ve got an interesting matchup against Ball the Way Turnt Up. Can they turn the volume down and get the win? 8. Kick Tease Pulled out a fairly uneventful victory against Kit Shickers. They got up early and stayed up the whole game. Are they back on track? Will they continue the winning trend or is this just a Tease? Great work by this squad, let s see if it continues. 9. Ballz Deep This is a quality squad that had a tough go at it this season thus far. They ve played some quality squads and have had to go Ballz Deep to get the win they currently have. We have high hopes for this squad and think they can do much better than their record shows. 10. Kicking it With Drunk Pitches Look at this new squad at 2-2 through three weeks of play. They ve got a fun team that knows how to win as well. Look for Drunk Pitches to turn some heads this season. 11. Snitches Get Pitches Snitches played a good game but just not quite well enough to get the win over Ball the Way Turnt Up. Was BTWTU s music too loud and prevented them from communicating or was SGP just not Turnt Up enough? Hopefully Snitches can get the job done this week against the Wasians. 12. Kicks and Pitches This team Kicked and Pitched their way to a blowout victory over Smack my Pitch up. Is this the beginning of a win streak for K& P? It could be Or not. We ll have to wait and see what these next week s will bring. We can be sure of Kicks and Pitches but we won t know till it happens whether they will be wins or losses. 13. Smack my Pitch Up Smack my Pitch up got smacked around a little bit by Kicks and Pitches. Maybe they like being smacked around though? They ll have to let us know what they are into. They are off to a great start though at 2-2. We d rank them higher but their most recent result was a loss so we ll have to leave them here. Maybe that will light a fire under them and they start getting it done again. 14. Swift Kick in the Grass They got a big win last week and they just barely let the last one slip through their hands. They was some confusion on how many innings were played but we know they ll just have to take that out on someone else next week. If you got them on your schedule be care cause they mad. 15. Kit Shickers They got their Kit Shicked this week but this team ain t all that bad. We think they definitely have potential and they are really starting to pick up on how the game works. They just might surprise some people this season. Don t be the team they take advantage of. 16. Don t Come on my Base This team is most definitely having the most fun this season. Who doesn t love a little slosh ball? They however are not winning at their own game. They will play the game till the end of the regular season. Will they get a win? 17. Saved by the Balls They ve had some close ones this season and the balls have NOT been saving them. Seems unfair to us but we think they ll use it as a way to get fired up and go out there and beat somebody.

8 SPOTLIGHTS Rookie of the week Megan Williams Wasians How did you hear about WAKA? I'm a hairstylist at Foiled Rotten Salon, and my client and friend Jacklyn sparks told me all the fun she was having playing kickball, and i wanted to get in on that fun What do you think about your WAKA experience thus far? I've enjoyed playing and getting to know my team...i'm a pretty good smack talker, so its a great outlet (insert smiley face) What is your favorite pre-game/post-game activity? pre-game activity...i throw on some mad beats, and get gangsta with my pup, and then i bring that energy to the game! Post-game...who doesn't like hitting the bar and reminiscing about the good times we had on the field...5 mins ago Who are some of your favorite Athletes? Labron James, i really don't know much about that...i go to games to make signs What did/do you want to be when you grew/grow up? I wanted to be Justin Timberlakes wife...but...now i would like to venture into hair styling for photo shoots. Relationship Status? Why do you have to remind me that I'm single... What are some of your other hobbies besides kickball? Karaoke bars and i enjoy beach cruisin, eating, and fishing If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be? Somewhere near water, or French... If you won the Lotto this week, what would you do with all that money? Take care of the family, buy a house...and invest...and travel What was the last book you read? I hate to say it, half of 50 shades of grey, i had to stop...no one enjoys losing their virginity that much, and the grey guy frowned all the time, even when finding something funny... The author used the word, "clamber" way too much What has been the most interesting Entertainment news to you within the past 12 months? Whitney Houston dying What superpower would you want if you had a choice? Knowing me, if i got a super power, it would come with restrictions...like if i could teleport to places instantly, i could only do it on Wednesdays...but it would be, flying or teleporting to anywhere in a instant...

9 SPOTLIGHTS VETERAN of the week Jason Wittmer Palm Valley Pimps How did you hear about WAKA? A while back the Palm Valley Pimps won a championship in one of the other leagues then Karen Williams invited us to play in WAKA. How many seasons have you played? What teams? Any championships? Not sure how many seasons. I ve played for the Palm Valley Pimps, I m Kick James Pitch and Foot Hustlers. We won a couple of championships and a runner-up. What do you think about your WAKA experience thus far? I used to come out just for the games but I ve met a lot of cool people and now I m enjoying the social aspect as well. Corey and Erika do a great job organizing the leagues. As long as the Pimps are winning it s fun. Who are some of your favorite Athletes? Deion Sanders, Ryne Sandberg, Fred Taylor, Michael Jordan, Laird Hamilton. And all the feel good stories sports in general produces. What did/do you want to be when you grew/grow up? Professional athlete of course. I think that window has closed though. Working for the PGA Tour and Jax Suns kind of fills the void. I m still aspiring to go pro in kickball. Relationship Status? I don t have a lot of free time but I do have someone I like to spend it with. What are some of your other hobbies besides kickball? Surfing, flag-football, softball and golf If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be? Somewhere on the beach where there is good surf and not a ton of humidity (a private island would be nice). If you won the Lotto this week, what would you do with all that money? Buy that private island (see last q & a) and give most of the winnings to good causes and people in need. What was the last book you read? Book? That s what cliff notes are for. The Road Less Traveled is one I haven t finished yet but want to. What has been the most interesting Entertainment news to you within the past 12 months? Hollywood blah. The Jaguars got a new GM and head coach. Go Jags! What superpower would you want if you had a choice? Be able to time travel. I d like to add that to my superpower arsenal.
