2 A FORTNIGHT OF GLORY!!! PLAYOFFS!?! Time to show what you ve got, or never had! It s the playoffs and only one team goes home happy this season, but every team goes home drunk! Get psyched cause today is the first day of the rest of your life and its time for you to make a Change Change for the betterment of your kickball self Change for the glory of your team Change your lineup Change your underwear, I don t care The point is, you can t keep on doing the same thing over and over again and expect different results Hype your team up before the game with a crazy outfit Instead of drinking 6 beers before the game, drink 8! The playoffs are heated and you ve got to set your team apart to make that glorious run to victory and kickball immortality Throw the records out the window along with your underwear (kickball is a freeballin approved sport) and be prepared cause that big red ball is gonna change you whether you like it or not!!! REMINDER: THE TOP 4 TEAMS GET TO PLAY IN THE REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP! MAY 14 TH AT PATTON PARK VERSUS THE HATED ST JOHNS LEAGUE!!! SHOW YOUR GAME FACE

4 WEEK SIX/EIGHT GAME RECAPS DUE TO THE LARGE NUMBER OF GAMES THIS WEEK, ONLY TEAMS SUBMITTING RECAPS WILL GET MENTION Surrender The Booty 16 (5-3) vs Boo Nasty 0 (3-5) In what everyone was figuring to be a warm up to the pants off dance off later in the evening, STB took the field vs Boo Nasty Several players away at other drinking events (on a thursday?!), STB was able to right the ship after losing 3 out of 4 Boo Nasty was unprepared at kickball and realized a similar result was heading towards them at the BG, so they decided to get a little more practice RAINBOW PONY BOOKEND THE SEASON WITH A BLOWOUT/SHOUTOUT AWARD TO: BOO NASTY Ballswell - 12 (4-3-1) vs Thundercankles - 4 (2-6) Whether it was because of the large fan contingency in attendance or because they d just lost the 7:00 game and felt the need to redeem themselves, Ballswell grabbed thunder by the cankles and made their balls swell But this isn t about who won or lost, this is about Ballswell wanting to send a huge shout out to Thundercankles While Ballswell heckled everyone on the field (including their own teammates), the canks never lost their temper or displayed any unsportsmanlike conduct (like so many teams this season, including Ballswell) They proved themselves to be one of the most tolerant and fun teams in the league and a team that Ballswell would be happy to face again, win or lose You Look Like I Need A Drink A lot (2-6) Two Teams That Lost A little In what could be deemed a Cinderella Story, YLLINAD came off or a slow start to the season, aided by their drink of the week, to crush their opponents in a 2 game winning streak Bring on the playoffs! Kicking Balls and Taking Names 19 (5-1-2) vs Thundercankles 0 (2-6) Kicking Balls and Taking Names destroyed Thundercankles in a 19-0 edge of your seat, nail biting, thrill ride No trash talk necessary The KBATN coach of the year and winner of the Fearless Leader Award goes to John Lombardi Lanier for his inspirational speech and leadership in the dugout KBATN won it for Johnboy The KBATN D-Bag Award goes to Hollywood Pharis for that cocky, behind-the-back throw BS Sure, it would have looked awesome if it worked but it didn t You are a disgrace Go take a lap Commotion From The Ocean 5 (7-1) vs Cobra Kai 3 (7-1) In an epic match of kickball titans this game was decided with Commotion taking an early lead then holding on for a 5-3 win Commotion showed no mercy in this Dojo when they proved they will be the team to fight for your honor and win for the glory of love Cobra Kai s loss also ended a 19 game win streak for the team in league play WOW! That s like catching a fly in a pair of chopsticks Danielson
