2 Summer 2012 GMOT Newsletter Season Finale From the Throne of the King Mike Big Sweets Morris Ah Monday Night Kickball We ve had so many great times! This has been one hell of a season and Kickball Appreciation Night was the cherry on top. Between the Hunger Games, the ridiculous numbers of shots, and the impromptu wet t-shirt contest, the last night of MNK was EPIC! I want to thank my board for doing an incredible job. Without these dedicated guys and girls MNK wouldn t be the incredible night that it is. Thank you for all your hard work. I also want to thank all of you! I had a blast the whole season (including Spring) and got to meet a ton of new cool people. And don t ever forget Always Be Grindin! See you kids around! Mike

3 Summer 2012 PLAYOFF RESULTS By Anon E. Moose Notes: I onnly missed 3 out of 17, that s not too bad. Congrats to ODB, I guess my theory on the law of averages didn t pan out. HAVE A GREAT OFF SEASON, AND THE MOOSE WILL SEE YA IN THE SPRING!!!

4 Charity Corner Kelly Touchy CHARITY We raised $5,000 for The New Orleans Mission!!!! I Just Blue Myself raised a season total $732 and claimed the Charity trophy!! We also presented Brian Young with an award named in his honor of being Crescent s Most Generous Kickballer!! I m waiting to see if they would like us to purchase necessities for the Mission with the money we raised. Stay tuned for details.either way we will visit the Mission to present our donation. ALL Crescent kickballers are most welcome to participate!!

5 Thanks for the can tabs, Mom! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO SUPPORTED CHARITY THROUGHTOUT THE SPRING & SUMMER SEASONS!! WE RAISED A COMBINED TOTAL OF $12,000 FOR THE NEW ORLEANS COUNCIL ON AGING & THE NEW ORLEANS MISSION! 13 Well, another season of LA Crescent kickball has come and gone. Props to Sean, Mike, and the rest of the board for continuing to make this league great. It s come a long way since that first 7-team season, and thanks to all who help made it happen. Also, thanks go out for all you guys and teams did for LA Crescent Appreciation Night.
