Team Recap Big Red Balls Big Red Balls vs. Toe Jam What a great birthday party... uh I mean kickball game (Happy Birthday Travis). Finally a Thursday without rain and we made the most of it. BRB's brought the heat baby. Shouts go out to this weeks MVP Mike who not only pitched a great game but made two double plays. Shouts also go out to Andrew who had a double play of his own and Stella with the sacrificial bunt that drove two runs home. Our infield girls Jenny,

2 Carmen and Steph rocked the bases all night making out after out. And we can't forget our first Big Red Baller of the night to score, way to go Va Jay Jay. Special thanks to Erica for taking care of Travis' birthday cake (everyone is still wondering which of our girls modeled for the baker). It is a widespread and random disease, striking women and men of all ages and races. It is the most prevalent cancer in the world today, with about 1.3 million people diagnosed annually. The exact cause of the disease is unknown, and at this time, there is no cure. But there is hope. Thanks to heightened awareness, early detection through screening, improved treatment methods and increased access to breast health services, people have a greater chance of survival than ever before. This season we have put together a team (Feel Your TaTas) for the Komen Race for the Cure. Date: October 17 th. 8:35 am Competitive 5K Race (chip timed) 9:00 am Recreational 5K Race (self-timed) run/walk 9:25 am 1 Mile Family Fun Walk This charity was particularly chosen this season because of a fellow kickballer (Julie Malig) who noticed a lump; while breast feeding her little one, and not ignoring the

4 symptoms, she had it checked and is now on the road to recover and fighting the disease. So if you are interested in joining the team; all you do is have to ask somebody. We have several ideas to help raise money for Komen Race for the Cure: 1. 50/50 Raffle each week at the bar. $1/ticket or $5/ 7 ticket. 2. Penny Wars each team has a bucket where you can drop your coins. Pennies are positive points. Silver coins and Dollar Bills are negative. So the team with the most positive points at the end of season will win a gift certificate to total wine. 3. Bachelor/Bachelorette Auction. 4. Raffle at the EOS Party. 5. Poker Tournament. 6. Wrist Bands for $2. We are fortunate this season to have all 3 Divisions: Atlantic, Shore, and Southside to team up and make Komen the charity this season. Money raised last week for 50/50 raffle was $160.THANKS! Kim Merritt for donating your share of the prize you re a scholar and a gentlemen. Pictures of the Week

6 Power Poll 1. Yo Momma Still the top of the league.they are a dangerous team, young and experienced. So, don t take the team lightly..they will score a lot of points. So, bring the A game when you face this team. 2. Sloppy Seconds This team has all the tools to compete. Full of veterans players on the team with a lot of experience of winning championships. They will also put points on the board if you are not careful. This team can be very dangerous at season end. 3. Third String All-Stars They took a lost last week, so they were bumped down a spot. They have Sloppy Seconds this week, so they are looking to take them down and move right back on up. I m sure Sloppy will look forward to the challenge.

7 4. Winning is for Losers No Action for this team; due to rain, so they are staying put. 5. Thunderfeet No Action last week, so they too are staying at No Sons of Pitches You guys had the toughest teams in Yo Momma, Sloppy, and 3 rd String. 1-2 not bad we ll see what happens when you play the rest of the league. Hopefully you guys will move on up. You guys have a good team. 7. The Balled & The Beautiful So, you took a loss last week. Don t worry you guys haven t moved down I just look forward to seeing you guys win some more games this season. 8. Pirates of the Chesapeake No Action for you guys last week. 9. Kickin It Old Skool No Action last week. 10. Cobrai Kai - I hope a lighted a fire under Mrs. Kreiger s team they performed and won last week. They pulled it off. I expect the same again this week from you guys.it only takes one win to get on a roll. 11. Feel Your Boobies! You guys had a close game last week in the rain. Your loss dropped you a couple of spots. 12. Big Red Balls Mrs. Watson took a lot of new players this season onto her team. Who wouldn t want to play for Jenny. Their team is a ton of fun. They have experienced players, but I think they care about drinking more. There is a lot of kickball to be played. So keep up the good work, and maybe you ll move up the poll. 13. Toe Jam You guys took a beating last week from Sloppy. If it wasn t for that HR over the fence you guys would have been shut out. 14. Kick R Us No Action last week.
