2 SERIOUS GMOT STAFF WAKA Action Division Customer Service Rep: Kyle Bateman THERE S NO RULES!... WAIT YES THERE IS! Presented by Kyle Bateman Our playing fields are run by the City of Jacksonville, so we need to pay close attention to their rules to ensure we will have fields to play on for the season. Pets: Pets are not allowed at the park. Please make plans to keep your pets at home or we will have to ask you and your pet to leave. Beverages: Alcoholic beverage containers are not allowed at the park at any time, this includes the fields & parking lots. No glass containers or bottles of any kind are allowed on the fields. Coolers, Funnels, Kegs and Party Balls or anything that seems fun are not allowed on the fields. You are required to keep all beverages in bubba kegs, thermos bottles, solo cups, or anything that cannot be seen through. Clear colored or see through cups are not allowed, please purchase solid colored solo cups. Anyone in violation of the beverage policy will be asked to leave the premises and may be suspended for the remainder of the season. Please do not be the guy/gal walking in with a case of beer wrapped in a plastic bag or something. That is NOT ok. Other Activities: Due to general safety and liability reasons; no other sports may be played at a WAKA permitted field just prior to or during the games. That includes Sparklers, Flame throwers, Molotov Cocktails and anything else you can think of. Trash: All trash must be picked up before you leave the field. Trash cans are available throughout the park. Your CSR will also have trash bags available as well. Restrooms: We have a Port-A-Potty for our use at Gonzalez Park. Use it. Do not use the caveman method and do your business in bushes or even worse in the open. You may get a ticket and we may lose the permit to use the park! Parking: Park only in marked spaces or areas designated by the park. Parking on roads, on the curb, or on the sidewalk in unmarked spots may result in a parking ticket.

6 POWER RANKINGS 1. Body By Kickball Execution has two meanings, and they showed that going 8-0 against Chug Norris last week and maintaining their unbeaten streak. Not sure if they re chopping onions at Gonzalez Park, but remember that Salt Life is not one of our sponsors. This week they take on some familiar faces on Little Flicks to the Kick who are looking to turn their fortunes around. Can BBK keep those L s at bay? 2. Kickin and Waffles Cooler heads prevailed and the Waffles got back to their winning ways with a 2-0 victory over the Boozter Club. Their defense shined in this battle as both offenses seemed to struggle to find holes in the outfield. Shout out to K&W s veteran ladies for strong efforts and keeping the team in it! This week they take on Basic Pitches who don t look like they re ready to put the kid gloves on just yet. 3. Frequency This team is definitely increasing the frequency of their wins (pun frequency remains constant, however). Taking their crown as the top orange squad in the league, they look to try to battle back to claim their spot as top overall squad. This week s rung on the ladder is Money Shots, who is coming off a losing effort against CCOMB. 4. Basic Pitches These Pitches have been anything but basic through the first 4 weeks as they have come out of the first half of the season unscathed. After clipping the wings of DGAF last week, they go up against their first opponent in the top half of the rankings. I hope they re ready for a heavy serving of Kickin and Waffles. Can they remain unbeaten or will the wily vets bring them back down to Earth? 5. Money Shots Was all their success was a bit premature? They came up short against Can t Come on My Base last week despite their best attempts to cover each base with their Money Magic. This week they look to jump back in the saddle against Frequency in a matchup that looks to solve the age old debate of quality vs. quantity. 9. Lil Flicks to the Kick It s been a rough few weeks for these Flickers. Last week saw them fall to Frequency and they haven t tasted victory since week one. This week would prove to be an extra sweet victory as some of the Flicks used to sculpt their bodies by Kickball and nothing is better than taking down the #1 team. Do they have enough JT fans to Rock that Body? 10.Can t Come On My Base Despite what was probably the most confusion-filled end to a kickball game in recent seasons, Can t Come on My Base finally kept enough people from coming on their base to clinch victory from the very sticky hands of Money Shots. Was it the turning point they needed to come together as a team, put egos aside and make a run at the Golden Kickball? If not, Big Booty Pitches will be more than happy to extend their own winning streak instead. 11.Don t Give a Flock More like What the Flock? Unless there were snipers all over the surrounding rooftops, there was no reason for this many people to fall down in the outfield. Perhaps they can stay upright and turn their fortunes against JB Boozter Club. Otherwise they ll find themselves in the honorable mentions category next week below Jumbo Shrimp and the homeless guys stumbling around the Marathon station. Veteran Kickball Tip: Buttered popcorn is not a great pre-game snack. 12.Jumbo Shrimp Shrimp are widespread, and can be found near the seafloor of most coasts. They play an important role in the food chain as a food source for larger animals (Power Rankings can be fun AND informative!). This could be the week for this squad to defy their classifications, flip off that seafloor, and grab that elusive first win. Who knows? Chug Norris might be allergic to shellfish. 6. Big Booty Pitches They have been on a tear since week 2 and put the Jumbo Shrimp away 5-3 last week. This week they look to take on a Can t Come on My Base squad that is coming off their first win. Will they get that Booty Booty Booty bouncing everywhere? CCOMB is looking to keep it off their base, but it might be a tough task! 7. Chug Norris Come on, let s be honest.none of you ever tried stealing second base on a date? Don t sweat it though, BBK is a tough opponent, but the last time Chug Norris got bit, after 7 days of excruciating pain, the rattlesnake died. We re coming up on 7 days and Chug Norris is looking alive and well with Jumbo Shrimp on the slate. Don t make them cry too hard! 8. JB Boozter Club Kickin & Waffles dropped a deuce on them last week, but they re looking to clean up their act this week. Luckily, they won t have to try too hard against a DGAF team that took the field like a group of newborn giraffes on ice. Can they rise to the occasion and keep the Flock grounded?

Anyone I don t know personally because it s always interesting to know people s stories and where they come from. What is your occupation? Was that on purpose? Loan processor for Chase Bank. It was not on purpose; I took the job because of the opportunity it gave me. Relationship goals? I m very family oriented, so one day, I d like to have someone that wants the same things as me. What makes you smile? Anyone who relates to me and my sense of humor If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? Here in Jax If you won the Lotto this week, what would you do with all the money? 9 SPOTLIGHTS VETERAN of the week Samantha Graham - Don t Give A Flock How did you hear about WAKA? From playing JaxSport How many seasons have you played? What teams? Championships? 3 seasons. I began playing Summer 2016 Friday nights at St. Nicholas Park. I m awful at remembering team names, but I usually stay with the same people. No championships...yet! What do you think about your WAKA experience thus far? It is fun and a great way to relax during the week. Who are some of the most interesting people to you (past or present, famous or not)? Buddha and Betty White What is your occupation? Was that on purpose? I currently work for the Department of Health, specializing in chronic disease and prevention. Relationship goals? A boyfriend who I can get tacos with and who will rub my feet with Bengay after a training run What makes you smile? Dogs, my cat, tacos, and hockey If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? I lived and backpacked all over the world for a few years before college. I would definitely move back to The Netherlands in a heartbeat. If you won the Lotto this week, what would you do with all the money? Pay off my parents house, pay off school loans, give to my favorite charity, and save. What is your Twitter handle/facebook Profile Thingy/and Instagram stuff? We all want to be your friend.
