Sevenwrestlers won state titles. 67 BIARCK HIGH: The Demons (2016: 17-0 Overall; 9-0 WDA) won their 35th state title last week in Fargo, scoring 219 points. had 14 wrestlers place, including three titles. Ryan Ripplinger, 113; Dillon Spaulding, 126; Taylor Nein, 145. The Demons also won the state dual tournament for a 13th season. The squad edged rival Century in the finals, def. Wahpeton and Minot en route to the title match. The squad was unbeaten in duals this season. For Spaulding it was his thirdstraight title. T. The Patriots won seven matches, including wins over teams from South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana and Nebraska. DICKINSON: The Midgets (2016: 4-1 Overall; 3-1 WDA) are off until Jan. 7 when it hosts Sidney, MT in a dual. Dickinson is coming off a strong week, picking up three dual wins and taking the team title at its Dickinson Classic, Dec. 19. Jamestown dropped a home dual with WDA foe CHS (Belcourt), 53-21, last week. It then placed eighth at the Valley City Invite. Paxton Mewes won the 160 division title at the VC meet. Three other Blue Jays placed. ACY: The Sabers (2016: 0-3 Overall; 0-3 WDA) will take on CHS (Belcourt) in a WDA dual before the Christmas holiday. Legacy will then compete at the Rumble on the Red event in Fargo., the squad dropped a 66-9 WDA dual at Dickinson and then finished 13th at the Dickinson Classic.
