Region Tournament in Minot. The top six seeds will be automatically seeded into the tournament. Seeds seven thru 10 will participate in region play-in games. Dickinson became just the third WDA team to win a conf. title, joining Minot Bishop Ryan and Century...Century s 14-9 victory over West Fargo last week marked the first time the Packers lost to a N.D. opponent since Williston had eight games last week, including two doubleheaders with league champ Dickinson and one against second place Century...Dickinson went undefeated in out-of-pod play (10-0)...Mandan and Williston are still seeking a home win. Dickinson clinched its first WDA championship last week. Century could lock down second place with at least two wins., Century posted a 5-1 record, sweeping Bishop Ryan and Williston and then splitting a non-conf. series with visiting W. Fargo. The 24 runs scored against Williston was season-high for one game. DICKINSON: The Midgets (2016: 25-2 Overall; 22-2 WDA) clinched the WDA title last week and close out the regular season with a non-conf. doubleheader at Mandan and then host Minot Bishop Ryan. Dickinson went 6-0 last week, including four victories over Williston and a pair vs. Legacy. Dickinson scored 93 runs in six games last week. ESTOWN: The Blue Jays (2016: Overall; 14-8 WDA) host Jamestown in a doubleheader this week. Jamestown sits in fifth place, a point ahead of Legacy and Bishop Ryan. A top six finish would automatically seed Jamestown into the W. Region Tournament. Seventh place or lower would force the Blue Jays into a play-in game to reach the regional tournament., Jamestown went 4-0, sweeping CHS and Mandan. ACY: The Sabers (2016: Overall; WDA) finish the regular season with a doubleheader vs. Century this week. Legacy currently is in a sixth place tie with Minot Bishop Ryan. A top six finish would automatically seed Legacy into the W. Region Tournament. Seventh place or lower would force them into a play-in game to reach the regional tournament. Minot hosts CHS, and then visits Jamestown. It opens the week vs. rival Bishop Ryan in a non-conf. doubleheader. The Majettes have an outside shot at finishing second with six wins and some help. They could move into third place with a strong week., Minot swept Mandan. OT BISHOP RYAN: The Lions (2016: Overall; WDA) have three doubleheaders this week, including WDA matchups with Williston and Dickinson. It also has a non-conf. doubleheader against rival Minot. Bishop Ryan currently sits in a tie for sixth with Legacy. It could finish as high as fourth with four wins and some help. A top six finish would automatically seed Bishop Ryan into the W. Region Tournament. Seventh place or lower would force the Lions into a play-in game to reach the regional tournament. The Lions last win came on April 30. CHS (BELCOURT): The Bravettes (2016: 5-23 Overall; 2-20 WDA) have a pair doubleheaders this week at Minot and Mandan. And it has a single non-conf. game at G.F. Central. CHS will finish either eighth, ninth or 10th in the WDA and will take part in a regional play-in game., the Bravettes dropped doubleheaders to and Jamestown. It also lost a nonconf. game at Devils Lake. LISTON: The Coyotes (2016: 2-25 Overall; 1-23 WDA) close out the regular season hosting Minot Bishop Ryan. Williston will take part in a regional play-in game as either the 10th or ninth seed., the Coyotes played eight WDA games, falling to Dickinson four times and losing to Century and Legacy. The loss to Bishop Ryan snapped Dickinson s 15-game winning streak. Against Minot, Dickinson erased a 2-0 deficit. Madi Jahner was 4-4 at the plate. In game two, Jordie McNeilly and Baily Jahner each had three hits. M. Jahner picked up the pitching wins in both games. Against Bishop Ryan, the Midgets gave up the winning run in the eighth inning. Olivia Nihill got the pitching win. In game two, Molly Fritz was 2-3 with 3 RBI. Alex Nihill got the pitching win. ACY: The Sabers (2016: 6-12 Overall; 6-8 WDA) visits Minot on May 2 and then travels to Williston in., Legacy swept Mandan, 20-9 and 20-2, before dropping games to Century, 15-5, 3-5. Against Mandan, Whitney Thomas drove in seven runs and Alexis Dressler drove in five in game one. Courtney Hanson homered twice in the nightcap. Against Century, W. Thomas had two home runs in game one. In game two, Taylor Gerving and Brenna Hanson each had two hits. DAN: The Braves (2016: 3-14 Overall; 2-12 WDA) travel to Minot on Tuesday, and then visit CHS on., the squad dropped doubleheaders to Legacy, 20-9, 20-2, and, 12-0, Against Legacy, Tanya Haugen and Maddie Vega each collected three hits in game one.
