1 PLAYOFFS June June 5 - Sun Prairie 6, Hartford 2 (14-12) In game two of sectional play at Oconomowoc, Hartford couldn't hold onto their early lead and fell to the #2 State Ranked team in Divison 1 Sun Prairie 6-2. After the Cardinals put up a run in the first inning, Hartford responded by putting two runs on the board in the third. Nick Vogel led off the inning with a walk and was followed by a bunt single by Jake Weston. With no outs and two runners on, Myles Zimdars sacrifice bunted for the first out. After a strike out, Blake Lazaris came up clutch with a two-run two-out single that scored both Vogel and Weston. Sun Prairie responded with two runs in the bottom half of the inning as they took advantage of three walks and a balk. The Cardinals would add insurance runs in the fourth and sixth innings to build their four run lead. Hartford's offense was halted by Sun Prairie's ace as they cumulated five hits and two walks on the game. The Orioles defense made two errors, had a balk and walked seven batters in the game. Zach Lutz threw 3 1/3 innings on the mound and was relieved by George Trawitzki for 2 2/3 innings in the final game of the year for Hartford. May May 31 - Hartford 2 (14-11), Watertown 1 In Watertown, Hartford squeezed home the game-winning run in the top of the 7th to put the Orioles into Sectionals for the first time since Both teams received dominant pitching performances from their starting pitchers. Zach Lutz (5-1) threw 6 2/3 innings giving up six hits, one run and struck out eight batters. The Orioles offense had only three hits, but put together timely at-bats to get their runs across. Garrett Thomas reached base to start the fifth inning, and was sacrificed to second by Zach Brewer. Bobby Crandall then drove a double to right-center to score Thomas and give the Orioles a 1-0 lead. After Watertown put a run on the board in the bottom half of the inning to tie it at 1, the Hartford defense showed up in the 6th. With two outs and a runner on first, Myles Zimdars tracked down a ball in deep right field that could have put the Goslings up by a run. With the momentum on Hartford's side, Thomas again led of an inning

2 reaching base, this time with a sharp single. Thomas then would steal second base and advance to third on the throw from the catcher. After a conference at the mound, Crandall laid down a suicide squeeze where Thomas was running on the pitch. A close play at home resulted in Thomas being safe, and the Orioles taking a 2-1 lead. In the bottom of the 7th, Watertown led off with a double. The Goslings then bunted the runner to third and while the play was being made at first, the runner was trying to score from second. First basemen Zach Brewer secured the out at first base and threw home to catcher Zach Braun to put out the Watertown base runner. With a runner on first and two outs, Cody Werner came in to record the final out on a fly ball to Crandall. May 29 - Hartford 11 (13-11), Madison East 1 (6 innings) At West Side, Hartford put up seven runs in the first inning to make a statement in a playoff victory against Madison East. The Orioles had five straight batters reach in the bottom of the first and had seven of eight batters reach during that same stretch to put up a crooked number. Zach Lutz, Garrett Thomas, Zach Brewer, Nick Vogel and Myles Zimdars all had RBI hits in the opening frame. After Madison East put up a run in the 5th to make the score 7-1, Hartford responded with three runs in the bottom half of the inning. RBI singles by Blake Lazaris, Zach Braun and Lutz put the score at With the Orioles needing one run, Bobby Crandall walked with one out. Zach Siebenlist drove a game-ending double to score Crandall and put Hartford in to the Regional Final. George Trawitzki (3-1) threw six innings, giving up only four hits while striking out six batters. END OF REGULAR SEASON May 26 - Burlington 7, Hartford 3 (12-11) At UW-Whitewater Field, Burlington scored four runs in the top of the 7th to beat the Orioles in the regular season finale. Hartford scored two runs in the fifth and one in the sixth to tie the game at three. Zach Lutz drew a bases loaded hit by pitch to score the first run and Garrett Thomas followed with a bases loaded walk. In the sixth, Lucas Simon scored on a wild pitch to give the momentum to Hartford. The scrappy Demons would put up four runs, all with two outs, to pull away from the Orioles. Hartford only had three hits, and also had three errors. Zach Brewer, Cody Werner and Thomas all threw multiple innings in the game. May 25 (Game 2) - Westosha Central 6, Hartford 5 (12-10) (8 innings) In game two after senior night festivities, the Orioles came out focused and built a 2-0 lead after three innings. The first run was scored in the first inning after three straight batters reached base. Blake Lazaris had a one-out single and was followed by a Zach Braun walk. Garrett Thomas drove in Lazaris to score the first run of the game. In the third, Scott Savage drove a triple down the right field line with one out and was scored on a sac fly by Blake Lazaris. Westosha Central scored two runs in the top of the 4th to tie the game, which is where it stood going in to the 8th inning. The Falcons put up four runs in the top of the 8th to build a 6-2 lead, in which the Orioles battled back in the bottom half of the inning. Blake Lazaris reached on an error to start the inning and was later moved to second by a Zach Brewer single. With two outs, Dion Miszewski walked.

3 Bobby Crandall drew a bases-loaded walk to score the first run in the 8th. Jake Weston then drove a two-out two-run single to bring Hartford within one. With runners on first and third, the Falcons struck out the final batter to kill the Oriole rally. The loss spoiled a great outing by Zach Lutz who threw 6 innings of 2 run ball (one earned) while striking out 11. May 25 (Game 1) - Westosha Central 12, Hartford 0 (12-9) At West Side, the Falcons blanked the Orioles to win game one of the doubleheader. Hartford collected four hits in the first game, as Jake Weston recorded two of them for a multi-hit game. Zach Braun and Zach Lutz recorded the other two hits, but the offense couldn't muster up a hit with a runner in scoring position. Hartford made three errors on the evening behind the pitching efforts from Brock Burg, Nick Balmer and Trent Birkel. May 23 - Hartford 5 (12-8), Port Washington 0 At West Side, George Trawitzki (2-1) notched the second no-hitter on the year for the Orioles to propel Hartford to the victory. Trawitzki threw a complete game (7 innings), giving up no hits, striking out six and walking only one batter. The Orioles played great defense behind Trawitzki making no errors, as the Pirates were held with a runner ever reaching second base. The offense scored single runs in the first, third and fourth innings and also scored two runs in the second to give the defense some breathing room. Scott Savage recorded two hits, and he, Myles Zimdars and Zach Lutz all recorded RBI's in the game. May 22 - Hartford 9 (11-8), Winnebago Lutheran 2 In a road game, the Orioles jumped on the Vikings to build a 6-1 lead over the first four innings to seal the victory. Hartford put two runs up in the first inning with an RBI groundout by Zach Braun and a run-scoring single by Dion Miszewski. After Winnebago Lutheran closed the gap to 2-1, Hartford responded with four runs in the fourth inning. The first four batters of the inning reached, as Myles Zimdars had an RBI double and Garrett Thomas had an RBI single to add two runs on the board. After a popout, Braun drove in Zimdars with an RBI single. The final run of the inning came on a Miszewski sac fly that scored Thomas. The Orioles added three more runs in the fifth off a bases loaded walk by Braun and a two-run single by Zach Brewer. Thomas (1-2) threw six innings of two hit baseball while Cody Werner pitched the final inning striking out two batters to seal the victory. May 19 - Catholic Memorial 6, Hartford 2 (10-8) In game two of the Classic 8 Conference Tournament, the Crusaders jumped on Hartford to build a 6-0 lead that the Orioles couldn't overcome. Hartford scored their first run in the bottom of the 5th after Myles Zimdars laced a two-out double, and was scored by a Scott Savage single. The Orioles put together a rally in the 7th which was started again by Zimdars. Zimdars drew a oneout walk, stole second base, and was scored by another Savage single. Hartford's Brock Burg threw four innings giving up three runs, and was relieved by Cody Werner and Nick Balmer. Balmer threw two shutout innings to shut down the high-powered Catholic Memorial offense.

4 May 19 - Oconomowoc 5, Hartford 4 (10-7) At West Side Park in Classic 8 Conference Tournament action, Oconomowoc scored a run in the bottom of the 7th for a walk-off victory against the Orioles. Hartford put together a 2-0 lead after four and a half innings before the Raccoons mounted their comeback. Zach Brewer had an RBI groundout in the second and Zach Braun had an RBI groundout in the fifth. In the bottom half of the inning, Oconomowoc put two runs on the board with two outs against starting pitcher Zach Lutz. The Orioles responded with two runs in the top of the 6th on an error by the second baseman, which scored both Bobby Crandall and Jake Weston. Oconomowoc responded right back in the bottom half of the inning with another two out two-run single. The Raccoons laced a game-ending double to score the winning run in the bottom of the 7th. Lutz threw 5 1/3 innings allowing four runs while Nick Vogel came in relief to throw 1 1/3 innings. May 15 - Hartford 14 (10-6, 8-4), Milwaukee Lutheran 3 (9 innings) At Milwaukee Lutheran, the Orioles put up 11 runs in the ninth inning to record a season sweep of their conference foe. Hartford scored one run in the top of the 7th to tie the game at 3 on a rbi single from Garrett Thomas. After neither team was able to score a run in the 8th inning, the Orioles offense exploded for a double-digit inning for the second time on the season. Ten of the 11 runs came after two outs were recorded, as Hartford had ten straight batters reach base in the inning. Thomas and Jake Weston each had multiple run-scoring hits in the inning. Blake Lazaris, Zach Braun and Zach Lutz also had run-scoring hits in the inning. On the mound, George Trawitzki started the game and threw 5 innings of two run ball. Cody Werner (1-0) threw 3 innings of relief, to record his first varsity victory, giving up one run while striking out five batters. Nick Vogel threw the last inning to seal the victory. May 14 - Hartford 9 (9-6, 7-4), Milwaukee Lutheran 0 At West Side, Zach Lutz (4-1) shut down Milwaukee Lutheran throwing six shutout innings giving up only one hit and striking out 10. The offense was led by Blake Lazaris (3-4, 4 rbis), Zach Braun (3-3, 2 rbis) and Jake Weston (2-3, 2 runs scored). Hartford's offense complied 14 hits and drew five walks, while putting up two extra base hits and also stealing two bases. The well-balanced offensive attack scored in four of six innings played, including a five-run fifth inning. With one out, Weston singled to score Crandall. After the second out of the inning, Hartford put up four more runs to seal the victory. Lazaris doubled to score two runs and was followed by a Braun single. May 10 - Oconomowoc 7, Hartford 5 (8-6, 6-4) At West Side, the Orioles jumped to a 5-0 lead after four innings but couldn't hold on as the Raccoons recorded the come-from-behind victory. Hartford put up three runs in the third by runscoring singles by Blake Lazaris, Zach Brewer and Zach Lutz. The Orioles added two more runs in the fourth inning on a sacrifice fly from Lazaris and a double from Scott Savage. Oconomowoc used six hits to score five runs in the fifth to tie the game up at five. Hartford's offense wasn't able to put anything else on the board, as they were held to four hits and four walks on the evening. The Raccoons put together another big inning in the 7th, as they piled up

5 three hits and a walk to aid in their two run inning. George Trawitzki threw 4 1/3 innings before being relieved by Garrett Thomas. May 8 - Oconomowoc 11, Hartford 10 (8-5, 6-3) (8 innings) At Roosevelt Field, Oconomowoc scored one run in the bottom of the 8th inning to record a walk-off victory for the Raccoons. The first inning was full of fireworks as the two teams scored 10 total runs in an offensive explosion. Hartford put up four runs in the top of the first keyed by an RBI single from Zach Lutz and a sacrifice fly from Zach Braun. After trailing 8-4 after two innings, the Orioles put up a solid comeback by scoring a run in the third and four more runs in the fourth. To start the third, Myles Zimdars crushed a triple and would be driven in by Bobby Crandall's single. Scott Savage was hit by a pitch to start the fourth, stole second and advanced to third on an error by the catcher. Zach Brewer drove in Savage with an RBI single. Hartford would tie the game at 8 with a two-run single from Zimdars, and he would later score on a twoout single from Jake Weston. After Oconomowoc took the lead in the 5th inning, Hartford would again tie the score with a single run in the sixth. Crandall drew a bases loaded walk to tie the score at 10. In a back and forth contest, the Raccoons scored the game's final run on a walk-off single. May 7 - Hartford 9 (8-4, 6-2), Catholic Memorial 6 At Infinity Fields in Waukesha, the Orioles pounded out ten outs and put together two big innings for the W. After the Crusaders put the first run of the game, the Orioles used a four-run 3rd inning to take the lead for good. After Blake Lazaris and Scott Savage walked to start the inning, Zach Brewer laid down a sac bunt and reached on an error by the pitcher. With two outs, Zach Braun delivered a two-run single to start the scoring for Hartford. After Braun, Myles Zimdars laced a two-run double to complete the four run inning. The offense didn't stop there as Savage ripped an RBI double to score Lazaris to start the scoring in the fourth inning. Brewer would hit an RBI single to score Savage, and Braun would deliver another two run single to conclude the five-run inning for the Orioles. Zach Lutz (3-1) threw four innings and received great relief from Cody Werner who threw 2 2/3 innings of scoreless relief to keep Catholic Memorial in check. Nick Vogel recorded the last out of the game to seal the victory. May 5 - De Pere 9, Hartford 7 (7-4) At De Pere High School, Hartford couldn't hold onto a 7-3 lead and lost the second game of the day against the Redbirds. The Oriole put together eight hits, including a stretch of six consecutive, to score six runs in the third inning to take the four run lead. Nick Vogel, Garrett Thomas, Myles Zimdars and Dion Miszewski each had run-scoring hits in the inning for Hartford. Unfortunately, walks and poor defense let De Pere back into the game in the 4th inning. Trailing by four runs, the Redbirds used a walk, two errors and six hits to put together a six-run inning of their own to take a 9-7 lead. Hartford was shut down until the 7th inning when they were able to load the bases with two outs. Down two runs and with a full count, the Redbirds struck out the final batter of the game to seal the victory. May 5 - West De Pere 5, Hartford 0 (7-3)

6 At West De Pere, Hartford was held to just three hits in game one of a doubleheader. Myles Zimdars, Scott Savage and Jake Weston were the Orioles to gather a hit, while only Weston advanced past first base. On the mound. George Trawitzki threw 5 innings striking out 7 batters. Unfortunately, a few timely hits and Hartford defensive miscues allowed the Phantoms to score one run in the first and tack on four runs in the fourth. The Orioles made two errors and struck out 10 times (including four looking) in the game. May 2 - Hartford 10 (7-2), Watertown 5 At Washington Park in Watertown, Hartford compiled 10 hits and drew 10 walks to score 10 runs in their victory over the Goslings. The offense was led by multiple hit games from Zach Brewer and Scott Savage. Brewer scored two runs and had two doubles, and Savage scored two runs, had a double and drove in three runs. Hartford scored multiple runs in three of the first four innings, and got a great four innings of relief for Nick Vogel. Vogel (1-0) picked up his first win on the season after giving up only one earned while striking out four. Brewer also pitched for the Orioles and Trent Birkel threw a scoreless 7th to seal the victory. May 1 - Hartford 9 (6-2, 5-2), Slinger 5 At West Side Park, the Orioles came back from a 5-2 deficit scoring seven total runs in the 5th and 6th innings to record the comeback victory. Slinger jumped out to an early lead in the second scoring three runs, but Hartford responded in the bottom half of the inning. Garrett Thomas recorded a two-out single and Zach Brewer laced an RBI triple down the right field line to score Thomas. On the same play, the Owls overthrew third base trying to make a play on Brewer that ended up scoring Brewer from third. Slinger responded with two more runs in the 3rd and it wasn't until the 5th that the Hartford bats woke up. The Orioles put up five runs in the inning behind four hits and four walks. Blake Lazaris and Myles Zimdars led off with singles, and was followed by Nick Vogel's walk to load the bases. Zach Braun had an 8-pitch walk to drive in a run to narrow the score 5-3. With no outs, Zach Lutz drove an RBI double down LF line to score Zimdars and Vogel to tie the game. Garrett Thomas delivered a run-scoring single to take the lead for good. Hartford tacked on another run when Thomas got into a rundown and Zach Lutz was able to steal home. The Orioles added two insurance runs in the bottom of the 6th to extend the lead. Nick Balmer (2-0) pitched four innings of relief baseball allowing one earned run and striking out two. Cody Werner sealed the victory by inducing a game-ending double play. April April 30 - Hartford 5 (5-2, 4-2), Slinger 2 At Slinger, Hartford scored five runs in the first three innings to record their third-straight victory. Blake Lazaris led off the game with a single and stole second base. After a two-out walk to Zach Braun, both Lazaris and Lucas Simon (courtesy runner for Zach Braun) moved up a base on a wild pitch. Zach Lutz hit a ground ball to first base that was misplayed that ended up scoring both runners to give Hartford the 2-0. After Slinger tied the game in the second, the Orioles put up three more runs in the third. Lazaris again led off the inning with a single and

7 scored from first base on an RBI double by Nick Vogel. Zach Braun followed with another RBI double to score Vogel. Lutz capped off the inning by producing a run-scoring single to score Simon from second base. The 5-2 led was held by Zach Lutz (2-1) on the mound after going 5 innings allowing 2 earned runs and striking out 9 batters. Garrett Thomas threw the final two innings to record his first save on the season. April 26th - Hartford 5 (4-2, 3-2), Arrowhead 0 At Arrowhead, the Orioles used a stellar pitching performance from Brock Burg (1-0) to defeat the #4 State Ranked team in Division Burg threw a CG shutout allowing only two hits on 84 pitches. Burg struck out three batters and kept Arrowhead hitters off balance the entire game. The offense was able to score a run in the first inning after Myles Zimdars drew a one-out walk, Vogel followed with another walk, and Zach Lutz delivered an RBI single up-the-middle to score Zimdars. Hartford wouldn't threaten again until the 5th inning. Zach Brewer drove a single to right field with one out and was followed by a Zimdars HBP and a Lazaris walk. Zach Braun grounded into a fielder's choice with the bases loaded to score Brewer and build the lead to 2-0. The Orioles broke the game open in the 6th by scoring three runs. Thomas was HBP to start the inning and Bobby Crandall drew a walk. After the next two batters were set down, Zach Brewer delivered an RBI single to score Crandall from second. Zimdars drew his second walk of the day to load the bases and Nick Vogel delivered a two-run single to build the 5-0. Four of the five runs were scored with two outs in the evening. April 25th - Hartford 16 (3-2, 2-2), Catholic Memorial 12 At West Side Park, the Orioles slugged 15 hits to beat the #1 State Ranked Team in Division After the Orioles jumped out a 3-0 lead in the first inning after compiling five hits, the Crusaders came back with a four run third to take the lead. In the bottom of the 3rd, Hartford had four straight batters reach base to score two runs to regain the lead. Garrett Thomas recorded a single and was followed by Bobby Crandall reaching on an error. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Zach Brewer had a run-scoring double that scored Thomas. Jake Weston followed with an RBI fielder's choice to take the lead back from Catholic Memorial 5-4. The lead didn't last long as the Crusaders put up a lone run in the 4th to tie the Orioles, and scored three more runs in the 5th to take an 8-5. Hartford responded by recorded their second double-digit inning on the young season by putting up a 10 spot in the 5th. The Orioles drew four walks, one HBP, six hits and reached base on two errors. At one point in the inning, nine straight batters reached base and scored runs. George Trawitzki exited after the 4th inning after giving up five earned runs and Nick Balmer (1-0) finished the fifth inning for his first varsity win. Nick Vogel pitched the final two innings allowing only one run while striking out one to seal the victory. April 24th - Arrowhead 8, Hartford 1 (2-2, 1-2) At West Side Park, Hartford held Arrowhead scoreless through three innings but gave up multiple runs in each of the next three innings and couldn't overcome the deficit. The Orioles compiled four hits and drew three walks, but only had a few scoring chances on the afternoon. In the 6th inning, Blake Lazaris was hit by a pitch with two outs. Zach Braun followed with an RBI double to left-center to score Lazaris from first base. In addition to Braun, Lutz, Simon and

8 Thomas had the other hits for the Orioles. Lutz (1-1) threw four innings giving up four runs while striking out seven batters. Cody Werner threw 1 1/3 innings and Zach Brewer finished up the final 1 2/3 innings giving up no runs on two strikeouts. April 12th - Hartford 8 (2-1, 1-1), Wisconsin Lutheran 5 At McCarty Park in Milwaukee, Hartford drew 12 walks en route to putting up multiple runs in three different innings. The Orioles jumped on the Vikings in the first by scoring three runs without recording a hit. Myles Zimdars, Blake Lazaris and Zach Braun all reached base on walks and came around to score. Hartford recorded five of their 12 walks in the first inning. In the 3rd inning, Lazaris led off with a single and was followed by another Braun walk. Zach Lutz drove home Lazaris on an RBI double which was also followed by a Bobby Crandall RBI double to build the lead to 5-2. After Wisco scored a run in the 5th to draw within one, the Orioles responded with three more runs in the 6th to build an 8-3 lead. George Trawitzki (1-0) threw five innings allowing five hits, three runs while striking out four. Brock Burg came in to pitch the final two innings and yielded two runs while striking out one batter. April 10th - Wisconsin Lutheran 9, Hartford 5 (1-1, 0-1) (8 innings) At West Side Park, the Vikings scored three runs in the top of the 7th to tie the game and send into extra innings where Wisconsin Lutheran put up a four spot to seal the victory. Hartford jumped out to a 5-2 lead through six innings but tacking on two runs in the bottom of the 6th. With two outs, Nick Vogel singled and stole second base. Bobby Crandall drove in Vogel with a run-scoring single. After Crandall's steal of second base, Zach Brewer drove in Crandall to build a three-run lead. The Vikings used two walks, a hit batter and a bases loaded double to score their three runs in the 7th. With two outs in the 8th, Wisco had five straight batters reach to build their four-run lead. Zach Lutz pitched strong through six innings giving up four hits, 1 earned run and striking out nine. Cody Werner and Garrett Thomas (0-1) also pitched for the Orioles after Lutz exited. March March 29th - Hartford 14 (1-0), Omro 0 (5 innings) Hartford - At West Side Park, the Orioles jumped on the Foxes for 11 runs in the first inning as the first 10 batters reached base. Hartford was led offensively by Garret Thomas' three hits setting the tone at the top of the order. Other Orioles racking up double digit hits were Blake Lazaris, Zach Braun, Zach Lutz and Dion Miszewski. Thomas and Lazaris paced the offense by driving in three runs each, while Nick Vogel, Lutz and Zach Brewer each drove in two runs. On the mound, three pitchers combined to throw a no-hitter. Lutz (1-0) threw the first two innings striking out five and walking two. George Trawitzki also threw two innings striking out three, and Cody Werner pitched the final frame striking out one batter.
