1 GSBA would like to invite schools to compete in the Glasgow individual Competition competition for secondary aged pupils. This opportunity will encourage pupils to participate in a fun and friendly environment and represent their school in a citywide competition. Eventual winners will be invited to represent Glasgow at the National finals. The tournament will be conducted according to the tournament regulations of BADMINTONscotland, including the prohibition of doping for which tests may be carried out. 2. Feather shuttles will be used. 3. PLAYERS ABSENT WHEN CALLED UPON TO PLAY MAY BE SCRATCHED. 4. Entries must be sent to Craig Robertson along with the appropriate fee(s) to ARRIVE NOT LATER THAN ENTRY DATE STATED. 5. LATE ENTRIES OR ENTRIES SENT WITHOUT THE CORRECT FEE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. 6. Cheques should be made payable to: GSBA 7. The organiser reserves the right to refuse any entry without giving their reasons. 8. The organiser reserves the right to move any competitor in the event of withdrawals. 9. Players wishing to be advised of their first time on court should provide an address or enclose a stamped addressed envelope with their entry form. 10. Players must hold themselves ready to start at 9.00 am on the day of play. All start times will be sent out 2-3 days prior to the event. 11. The organiser s decision in all matters relating to the tournament shall be final.

5 Directions to Glasgow School of Sport M8 - Travelling West Bound from Kingston Bridge Junction 24 Take Slip Road and Turn Right at Traffic Lights onto Helen Street (pass Asda/McDonalds on left) Right at Roundabout onto Edmiston Drive (towards Ibrox Park) Right at Roundabout onto Broomloan Road and continue straight through traffic lights and over M8 You are now on Dumbreck Road Go uphill with Bellahouston Park on Right Hand Side Turn Left at Traffic Lights onto Nithsdale Road Left after Dumbreck Train Station onto Maxwell Drive First Left onto Gower Street (signposted Academy Business Park) Follow Road to end and Turn Left onto Gower Terrace With School facing you - turn left into School of Sport Car Park Follow path to School of Sport Main Entrance M8 - Travelling East Bound to Kingston Bridge Govan / Kilmarnock Junction 24 Take Slip road and turn left at lights Along Helen Street till roundabout Right at Roundabout Towards Ibrox Park Right at roundabout and continue straight ahead until you pass over the M8 You are now on Dumbreck Road (follow directions as above) M77 - Travelling North Bound to Glasgow Junction 1 Take Slip Road and Turn Left at Traffic Lights onto Dumbreck Road At second set Traffic Lights Turn Right onto Nithsdale Road (Follow directions as above)
