Accreditation The following provisions apply for accreditation to the Tour de Suisse. a) The accreditation form must have been completed on the website b) Accredited media representatives receive additional advance confirmation by . This confirmation must be printed out and presented locally at race headquarters (Permanence). You will then get your accreditation in the form of a badge. Please also bring your media ID / photo ID for identification purposes. c) You will also receive the accreditation stickers for vehicles (car, motorcycle, etc.) at race headquarters (Permanence). Please also note item 9 Vehicle access to the course. d) On-site accreditation is also possible to a limited extent at race headquarters (Permanence). e) Race headquarters are located next to the media centre at the finish. The precise location can be found on the stage map at The opening hours for race headquarters are not always the same as the media centre opening hours. NB: Race headquarters is closed from 30 minutes before the finish until 30 minutes after the finish. The media centre opening hours can be found in item 4f). f) The race headquarters at the start are in the media café. However, there are only limited facilities there for the issue of accreditations/vehicle stickers. g) The decision about the issue of an accreditation is the responsibility of the organiser InfrontRingier Sports & Entertainment Switzerland AG. InfrontRingier Sports & Entertainment Switzerland AG is not obliged to provide any reason in the event of a rejection. A press card/media card does not automatically qualify for an accreditation. h) The accreditation must always be worn where it clearly visible. i) Without a valid accreditation, entry to the relevant zones will be denied without exception. j) Each accredited person is only permitted to access the zones shown on the accreditation. k) Each accredited person must follow the instructions of the Tour de Suisse personnel. l) The Tour de Suisse organisation and its employees are entitled to deny access to all zones to any accredited media representative in the event of misconduct, and/or to revoke his/her accreditation. m) The accreditation is not transferable. 1

2 2. Arrival/Parking spaces There are sign-posted media parking spaces available for accredited media representatives at every stage location. Parking in zones which are not intended for media representatives may lead to the loss of media accreditation. 3. Media café a) Location of the media café There is a small media café at the start of each stage. b) Infrastructure There is no Internet access available in the media café. 4. Media centre a) Location of the media centre At the finish of each stage there is a media centre. Please note that an adapter plug may be required in Switzerland. b) Infrastructure Internet access (LAN / WLAN) is available free of charge in the media centre for the accredited media representatives. c) Media conference The daily media conference with the stage winner and other riders if necessary takes place in the media centre. A media brunch will be held on the last day of the Tour de Suisse, on Sunday, 19 June 2016, in the VIP area of the ice hockey stadium. Please see the detailed information in the media centre about this. The concluding media conference will take place following the media brunch. d) TV The Tour de Suisse will be shown on a TV or TV projector in the media centre. e) Live ticker Tour de Suisse offers a live ticker on its website at even when the TV transmission is not yet up and running. 2

Team presentation The team presentation will take place in the start/finish area on Langgasse in Baar, at 6.30 pm on Friday, 10 June Guidelines for photographers The photographers can collect a specially labelled tabard from race headquarters on payment of a deposit. When the photographer is employed in the context of the Tour de Suisse, this tabard must be worn at all times. The following provisions also apply for the photographers: A photographers' zone is set up after the finish line of each stage. The photographer is only permitted to remain in this allocated zone. The precise allocation of seats/positions is the responsibility of the event organiser. 7. Photographic material Photographic material will not be provided by the event organiser. There is however the opportunity to acquire photographic material through the familiar photo agencies. 8. TV / audiovisual productions The Swiss Broadcasting Company SRG SSR has the exclusive right to create audiovisual productions in the context of the Tour de Suisse and will produce a TV signal to international standards. It is forbidden to make or to distribute audiovisual recordings of the race and of the awards ceremony without obtaining approval from the rights holder SRG SSR in advance and in writing. This also includes in particular the distribution of live or non-live videos of the race or of the awards ceremony via social media apps such as Periscope, Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook, etc. Non-adherence to this rule will be punishable by immediate revocation of accreditation and exclusion from the Tour de Suisse. 4

5 a) Independent audiovisual productions No independent images (races, podium ceremonies, interviews, etc.) may be filmed from the accredited zones (finish line to the second roped area as well as the mixed zone) before the conclusion of the podium ceremony (these images can only be acquired from SRG SSR) A filming permit/approval can be obtained from SRG SSR on request (at least 48 hours before the start of the event/stage) and for a fee (philippe.fischer@bus.srg.ch) / cc: jolanda.vandegraaf@tds.ch). The separate leaflet "News/Physical Access for Online Media" applies for online media. b) National and regional TV stations: Race pictures / Podium ceremony TdS race /podium ceremony images can be purchased by the regional and private TV stations (Teleclub, Tele1, TeleBasel, TeleZüri, TeleBärn etc.) from SRG SSR according to the list shown below: 1. Picture signal via HF rebroadcast reception, without commentary 2. On-site recording with own recorder/sng: free of charge 3. Simultaneous recording from the outside broadcast vehicle on-site/from the SRG SSR studio to order: CHF flat rate (incl. cassettes/dvds or via Internet) plus VAT 4. TV signal acquired on-site via SRG SSR uplink/sng: proportionate contribution to the actual costs (pro rata for the time for required uplink time depending on the number of users, maximum 50%) c) International TV stations TdS race pictures can be acquired by international TV stations via a licence agreement through Infront Sports & Media (Switzerland) AG. Recordings from the accredited zones are subject to the provisions 8 a.) Vehicle access to the course Access to the course is only possible for specifically identified vehicles. Applications must be made in advance of the Tour de Suisse. A permit will only be issued in specific cases. Vehicle access to the course is not possible with the stickers described in item 1 c). 10. General information a) Website All the important information can also be found on the official Tour de Suisse website and 5

6 b) Live ticker There will be a live ticker available on the official website during the race. The gaps in the field will also be displayed there. c) Technical Guide You will also find a wide range of other information in the official Technical Guide of the Tour de Suisse. This will be available online from shortly before the Tour de Suisse at d) Bulletin The bulletin for the next stage will be available in the media centre on the previous evening. There you will also find the location and address of the media centre of the following day's stage. The bulletin can also be obtained electronically.
