While a machine can get one close, perfection can only be attained by a craftsman. We know that there are easier ways, but we re in the business of making exceptional wheels. 3 TESTING Building a Best-In-Class wheel is not done with random parts out of a catalog, it requires extensive engineering, design and development. Then every wheel we design is tested and tested again until it is dialed. At Rolf Prima, we pride ourselves on our engineering, but we don t consider it ready until we ve validated it through measurable testing. And not just any testing; we ve developed a regimen that puts our wheels through the literal ringer; with tests that focus on stiffness, impact, braking, aerodynamics and durability, among other things. Why? Because we ride too and we know these things matter to our riders. Paired Spokes Bringing the spokes to the rim in pairs neutralizes the left and right outward pulling forces allowing us to build true wheels on lighter rims with fewer spokes. Differential Flange Diameter Our patented oversize non-drive Differential Flange provides leverage to transmit drive torque in the rear wheel to the non-drive spokes, thereby increasing the number of torque transmitting spokes. TECHNOLOGY Dish Reducing Design This patented technology increases the bracing angle of the drive side spokes to improve wheel stiffness. Delta Rim Technology Our Delta Rim Technology improves airflow and stability in straight-on and crosswind situations. This wider rim isn t just faster; the shape and additional tire support also improve cornering and handling in all riding conditions. Jacketed Nipple Design The deeper the rim, the more a spoke must bend along its path to the hub flange. Our patented Jacketed Nipple Design moves the bend of the spoke away from the high stress area of the spoke threads and increases spoke life significantly. Self-Aligning Nipple Our patented Self-Aligning Nipple design allows the nipple to rotate in a ball and socket configuration to minimize spoke bending and increase spoke life.

After several years of process and product development, we are proud to release our new generation of carbon clincher wheels, made right here in the USA. The Eos3 features an all new, USA made carbon tubeless compatible clincher rim, manufactured in the Pacific Northwest. It is paired with our USA made hubs and like all Rolf Prima wheels, hand-built in Eugene, Oregon. Though it was designed with an eye on the scales, the Eos3 keeps its other eye on the wind and in fact was the go-to wheel for the 2016 Rolf Prima RAAM team for their race across the USA. The Eos3 design not only decreases the watts needed to get to the top of the hill, but also requires less power to gain and maintain speed through the downs and flats. Though it is a lower profile, this is not just a climber s wheel.

HUBS We set out to design a hub set that is so dependable that you simply don t have to think about it. We chose materials that are not only tough, but lightweight as well, giving you the performance and durability required. In our best in class TdF hubs, you ll find CNC machined 6al-4v grade 5 titanium freehubs, CNC machined 6061 T6 aluminum hub shells, Enduro Zer0 ceramic cartridge bearings and independently sprung hardened steel pawls. This combination of in-house manufacturing with our testing capabilities have enabled us to dial in performance and durability to an even greater degree of excellence.
