7 Using weld processing on the series of Hubsmith aluminium wheels, it perfectly joins the two alloy surfaces and makes the joint invisible. Welding processing enhances rim performance and provides better stiffness than Sleeve and Pin processing. WELD-Aluminum

8 Features of Hubsmith Carbon Clincher Rim *NANO-ELASTOMER RESIN COMPOUND (NER) Using nano-elastomers within the carbon structure, the carbon s surface area is less affected by fracturing caused by impacts. The nano-elastomers provide an ultra-high toughness to block cracking and withhold the resin from separating from the carbon fiber. In fact, in laboratory experiments, the GIc has shown to be above 1000J/m2 (GIc = Fracture Toughness (Gc)under Mode I). *ULTRA HIGH TG RESIN SYSTEM (UHTg) UHTg is a resin formula used on road rims to eliminate the effects of high temperatures caused by rim braking. This newly developed resin has a very high temperature gradient, above 250. *PARTICULAR SPOKEHOLE PATCHING Differing from old-style precast rings, Hubsmith carbon clincher rim obtains particular spoke reinforcement with isotropic design works to transfer spoke tension away from the spoke hole to the rim body. This design not only decreases spoke tension and spoke fatigue, but provides an overall lighter weight rim.

9 Beyond ordinary, the hub, HS-R049 can be built in 3 ways, straight-pull+j-bend, all straight pull or all J-bend spokes, which can be capable of suiting all-terrain and meeting customers need for different spoke usages. HS-R049 features patented design straight-pull and J-bend spokes share the holes. With J-bend and straight-pull spokes for the 1st & the 2nd layer respectively, this double structure combines the benefits from both of the spokes for better stiffness and malleability. Once a spoke fractures, this design can prevent from excessive distortion, providing better security to riders. Moreover, the rest of milling holes can help lessen the weight.

18 1 7 Inertia Wheelset / Bigger & Smaller Hollow Flange Design Hubsmith Inertia wheel is fitted with special hub with the one side in big flange and the other side in small flange. This way of design to build wheel can contribute a centrifugal force when you ride a bike to save your strength on pedaling. Riding bicycle can be more easily and quickly.
