2 1. Introduction The 4ZA RC23 was created to be the ultimate all-round aluminium wheelset. It strikes a perfect balance between low weight, maximum efﬁciency and all day comfort. The wide, Tubeless Ready rims provide extra stability and stiffness where it counts while offering a very versatile tire choice. This makes it a perfect training wheelset. 4 3. Components 3.1 rims 4ZA RC23 Aluminium rims are custom made by DT Swiss. By using a light weight doublewall construction and 18mm internal rim width, the overall stiffness is increased and they are perfectly suited for wider tires. This guarantees best-in-class performance and reliability. The rims also feature a Tubeless Ready profile which increases the tire choice. Tubeless Ready tires can be run at lower pressures for higher comfort and more grip, without the risk of pinch flats. The machined Aluminium brake track with Wear Control indicators will improve brake performance, both in dry and wet conditions. 3.2 hubs 4ZA partnered up with Shimano to provide their reliable RS400 hubs. Featuring the tried and trusted cup and cone bearing system with double seals, these hubs offer low rolling resistance and are fully compatible with 11speed cassettes. 4ZA WHEEL PASSPORT RC23 4

4 nipples The 4ZA RC23 wheels are assembled with Mach1 nipples, which are a perfect match with the spokes.

5 3.3 spokes The 4ZA RC23 wheels are assembled with high quality Mach1 Pro double butted spokes (2.0/1,7/2,0 mm). The variable thickness saves 25% weight while increasing the tensile strength. 3.4 nipples The 4ZA RC23 wheels are assembled with Mach1 nipples, which are a perfect match with the spokes. By using brass nipples we were able to increase the durability. 3.5 quick releases The 4ZA RC23 wheels come with Shimano cam style quick releases. The aluminium handle saves precious weight. 4. 6 5. Assembly 4ZA RC23 wheels are assembled in Europe to the highest standards by experienced craftsmen, who take pride in building wheels that offer best-in-class performance and ride quality. They use professional tools and calibrated tensiometers to make sure each wheel that leaves their hands is perfectly true, and ready to race.
