HOOKLESS PROFILE The Hookless profile improves the contact of the tire with the rim avoiding the bead breaker. Thus the tire shape result more stable and improves its performance during use, allowing a more precise and safe ride. The design and method of manufacture, allow to realize a lighter though more shock resistant structure. During the test the Hookless profile has proven to greatly withstand the tire bead breaker. DESIGN The rim design has been optimized for mounting latest generation of wide tires: the width of the inner channel has been increased in order to obtain two versions 24 and 29 mm. From a structural point of view, these contribute to improve the couple rim tubeless/clincher even at lower pressures, avoiding unwanted deformations when bending, braking and in traction phase. The crossed disposition of the spokes adopted in Kodiak is designed to optimize the performance of the 28 spokes, providing lateral stiffness and radial absorption of stress when using the MTB. 29 i24 WIDE NORMAL (29 i24) FRONT A larger quantity of air and a lower pressure offer more grip.
