1 INFORMATION BULLETIN (NO 2) 2018 UCI ARTISTIC CYCLING WORLD CUP Upcoming events: 2 nd tournament 30 June 2018, Heerlen (Netherlands) Event location: Sporthalle Varenbeuk, Hei Carisborgweg 18, Heerlen (Netherlands) 3 rd tournament 12 August 2018, Hong Kong (Hong Kong-China) Event location: Chai Wan Sports Centre 6 Yee Shun St, Chai Wan, Hongkong 4 th tournament (Final) 17 November 2018, Erlenbach (near Heilbronn) (Germany) Event location: Sulmtalhalle, Talstraße 21, Erlenbach (Germany) Participation: The eligibility of participation in the 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd tournament of the UCI Artistic Cycling World Cup depends on the highest ranking of the National Federations in the respective discipline at the 2017 UCI Indoor Cycling World Championships. The National Federations are entitled to register a maximum number of riders or teams for the UCI Artistic Cycling World Cup as follows: Discipline Ranking 2017 UCI Indoor Cycling World Championships place 1 to 3 place 4 to 5 from place 6 Maximum number of riders / teams for Single Women Single Men Pair Women Pair Open ACT Allocation of maximum number of riders, see annex. Insurance: All participants, team officials, coaches and other assistants must bear their own responsibility for any injury, accident and/or lost that may occur during their stay in the Netherlands and/or Hong Kong-China while taking part in these world cup event. 4 leaving their country in order to protect themselves against any lost and to indemnify themselves against any claims. World Cup rankings The World Cup ranking is drawn up on the basis of the points won by each rider or team (pair, ACT4) in accordance with the tables as follows. The points awarded to the riders and teams (pair, ACT4) in the preliminaries are also valid for the final. Riders or teams (pairs, ACT4) who achieve place 1 to 10 in the World Cup rankings after the three preliminaries are qualified for the final event in the respective discipline. Points scale preliminaries_ Place Points Place Points Points scale final: Place Points World Cup Leader Jersey: Concerning the world cup leader jersey please note the rules as follow: For each discipline, the UCI shall award a leader s jersey at each event of the series. Please note the order of priority for wearing of different jerseys: UCI Cycling Regulations: Part 1 General organisation of cycling as a sport Article Without prejudice to relevant provisions but applicable for all the disciplines, should various provisions requiring the wearing of different jerseys apply to the same rider, the order of priority shall be as follows: 1. the leader's jerseys of the stage race 2. the world champion's jersey 3. the leader's jersey of the cup, series or UCI classification 4. the continental champion's jersey 5. the national champion's jersey 6. the national jersey (text modified on ; ; , ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ) Information Bulletin No UCI Artistic Cycling World Cup page 5
