2 We invite all member federations of the IWSF to the IWSF Cable Ski World Championships 2008, which will be held on 10 th to 13 th September at Princes Club Cable facility in Bedfont, England. 1. LOCATON Princes Club is situated in Bedfont, near Ashford, Middlesex, conveniently placed close to London Heathrow Airport, easily accessible from the M25 motorway (Junction 13), rail and tube. When not skiing there will be plenty to do, historical Royal Windsor is only 20 minutes away and London with all its many sites is 40 minutes by train. There are plenty of other attractions in the area, including Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures and Legoland theme parks. 2. PROMOTION International Water Ski Federation 3. RULES The competition will be carried out according to the IWSF Technical Rules Cable Ski The categories will be Open Men and Open Women. 6. HOMOLOGATION This competition will be RC homologated. 7. INSTALLATION AND JUMP DISTANCE MEASUREMENT RIXEN Cableway with 5 pylons - Jump measurement system to be confirmed. 8. COMMENTARY English. 9. ENTRY CONDITIONS All Skiers, who are members of an affiliated federation of the IWSF, are entitled to participate. Each skier must be nominated by their federation. Federations are requested to send in their Intention to Enter as soon as possible, closing date 11 July Countries that have sent their Intention to enter, will be listed on the website. 10. TEAM SELECTION & NON-TEAM SKIERS The Team Selection and the Selection of Non-team skiers are as described in the Cableski Technical Rules.

3 12. ENTRY FEE The entry fee will be 200 ( 150) per skier (1, 2 or 3 events). This will include the lunch on competition days and the banquet on Saturday evening for skiers and team captains. The entry fee must be paid at Registration, in English Pounds ( ) 13. VISA If the necessary personal information is provided, the Organising Committee will issue official visa invitations to all participants, officials, delegates and guests. They may apply for visas with the invitation at the British Embassy in their country. For the list of countries who need visa s, please use the link for the Ministry for Foreign Affairs: #Q3 14. PRE-COMPETITION TRAINING RESERVATION Pre-competition practice will be available at the competition site from 8 th to 10 th September. To request training times please info@cableskiworlds.com. CLOSING CEREMONY - Banquet and Final Night Party The price for the banquet will be 15 (tbc). A final night party starts after the banquet. Skiers, Team Captains, Competition Officials & World Cableski members will receive complimentary tickets.

LIABILITY The organising club, federation or the committee of the Cable Ski World Championships 2008 does not undertake any liability for damage to persons, material or property against competitors, technical officer, judges, official helpers and other persons. All competitors take part on their own risk in every respect even if they are engaged out of the competition, e.g. in any additional program. With the entry of the competition they give up any claim from cases of loss of any kind arising indirectly or directly during this event. Actives ought to have effected a private accident insurance beside their health insurance. Damage to a third party (e.g. spectators) is insured only within the limits of the organiser s liability. 21.
