1 2012 EUROPE & AFRICA WATERSKI CHAMPIONSHIPS TEAM AND OPEN OFFICIAL BULLETIN Number. 1 The Italian Waterski & Wakeboard Federation (FISW) is pleased to welcome all E&A Nations entering the 2012 EUROPE & AFRICA WATERSKI CHAMPIONSHIPS FISW Federal Centre Parco Nautico del Sesia, Recetto 15th - 19th August 2012.

2 Location Despite the small number of inhabitants, Recetto with his FISW Federal Centre Parco del Sesia is known worldwide as one of the most amazing place in the world for water-skiing.several international events, has been organized here, among them the World Tournament Championships in 2001, The European Tournament Championships in 2007 and other important competitions. The FISW Federal Centre Parco del Sesia is located in Via Fiume Sesia, Recetto (NO), next to Malpensa (Milan) Airport, 65 km. To reach The FISW Federal Centre By Car From Turin, Genoa, Milan, the exit is Biandrate. At the exit turn left and follow the indications Biandrate/ Recetto and than Parco Nautico del Sesia.

3 Tournament Lake The Club has 3 lakes built specifically for water skiing. The equipment consists of: 3 slalom courses and 1 Jump rump. The structure is recognized as the Italian Federation Centre. The banks have been designed so as not to allow the return of the wave, harmful to athletes' performances. Layout of the structures is a natural landscape. In august we have normally sunshine, warm days, sometimes there may be typical summer showers so it is recommended to have in any case appropriate clothing for. Minimum Temperature: 20 C - Maximum Temperature: 35 C Currency The local currency is EURO. At Malpensa airport you will find an EXCHANGE OFFICE. At almost all local vendors you will be able to pay for your purchase using one of the major credit cards. At the site you will be able to pay for lunches, drinks snacks in Euro.

4 Local Transport The organiser will not provide local transport between the official hotel and the site. All major rental car companies have offices at Malpensa Airport. Official Tow Boat The Official boats for the 2012 E&A Tournament Championships will be the Master Craft Prostar Announcer (commentator) The organizer will provide a good International and National Announcer. Flags and National Anthems After the accreditation all Team Captains should sign at the Secretary Office that the Flag and the National Anthems for their countries are correct.

5 Visa Requirements A valid Identity Card or Passport are required for entry into Italy. Normally no Visa is required for entry into Italy but we strongly suggest you contact the Italian Embassy or Consulate in your country to verify this. These countries might have visa to enter Italy: Belarus, Egypt, Namibia, Russia, Serbia, South Africa, Turkey and Ukraine. More information regarding Visa can be found on the following website address: Liability The organizer Committee and E&A will not be liable for any loss or damage to equipment or personal property, and injuries to athletes, officials, judges, official volunteers, and other persons attending official or unofficial programmers during the event. Athletes are required to purchase and show proof of personal accident insurance prior to entry. The insurance policy must provide coverage internationally. The organizer will not be responsible for any injury sustained, at any time, by any athlete from his participation in this event. Any costs incurred for medical treatment and hospitalization in Italy are high. Adequate personal medical insurance coverage is necessary. Certificate of medical insurance coverage/full payment is required before medical treatment/hospitalization takes place. Official hotel for athletes and teams Under progress. 6 Entry Requirements INTENTION TO ENTER All member Federations have to submit their Intention to Enter using the here down links: Intention to enter for team. Deadline 15 th June Intention to enter for athletes. Deadline 16 th June ENTRY FORM The subsequence Entry Form should be submit always to: Entry Fee for team will be 250 EURO. Deadline 5 th August Entry Fee for athletes will be 140 EURO. Deadline 6 th August The Entry Fee should be paid with bank transfer not later than the 6 th August 2011 and the participant federation have to send copy of the bank transfer to alessandra.ferrari@scinautico.com. Late Fees will apply in accordance with the existing rules. 8 Officials The complete Jury list including drivers will be available in Bulletin Number 2. Training You will be able, beginning on April 2 nd, to request and reserve training time during the championship official practice days, August 13 th and August 14 th. The Deadline for requesting training time is June 3 rd. Directly after June 3 rd we will be allocating the training time in according to Region E&A Additional Rule 1.3. All whom has request training time will be informed by , no later than June 11 th of the training time reserved. In the same you will find all the information pertaining to how you complete your booking by prepaying your allocated training time. If payment or copy of the payment is not received by 21 st June you will automatically lose your training time. Starting June 22 nd the organiser reserves the right to sell any remaining training time, on both lakes, on a first come first serve basis. 9 Doping Control In accordance with IWWF Anti doping rules, drug controls will be conducted during the competition. In entering this competition all skiers agree to be subject to doping control. Final night banquet After the Tournament Sunday 19 th August 2012 all skiers, teams, officials, VIP s, crew and friends are invited to celebrate the new championships. More information will be available in short time on bulletin n 2. Banquets tickets will be available at Secretary Office from Monday 12 August Until Friday 17 th August 2012 at the price of 50,00 per person.
