2 Dear Presidents, Following the visit of the FIRS President in Kaohsiung to meet the Organizing Committee and the local authorities to verify all the logistics aspects and the status of development of the organization of the event and following the meeting with the local sporting authorities; With the aim of giving more prominence to the event and enable the maximum participation of the local audience; The FIRS, together and the Municipality of Kaohsiung have exceptionally decided to change the dates of the event that will therefore take place from November 13 to 22 in order to make the opening and closing ceremonies coincide with the weekend. Also, the FIRS is organizing a Roller Speed Skating Seminar in Nanjing (China) right after the Championships in order to allow the participation of everyone and minimize the travel costs. Therefore we strongly suggest not buying air flights yet, confirmation of the Seminar will be given during the following days. All participating countries are kindly requested to send their final entries within and not later than September 15, 2015 to: FIRS SPEED TECHNICAL COMMITTEE speed@rollersports.org and Chinese Taipei Roller Sports Association huchichun0306@gmail.com The expenses of travel, board and lodging will be up to each attending team. 3 or to the FIRS Secretary General on November 13, 2015, 15h00 during the passport control and payment of fees. Only the countries affiliated to FIRS and in good standing with the FIRS fees are allowed to participate. PARTICIPATION AT THE SENIOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS A total of eight male and eight female skaters may be registered in the Championships for each attending country. No more than two male and two female skaters can participate in calendar events. PARTICIPATION AT THE YOUTH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS A total of eight male and eight female skaters may be registered in the Championships for each attending country. No more than two male and two female skaters can participate in calendar events. DISTANCES The race program will be the same for Men and Women, Youth and Senior categories TRACK 300 mt time-trial race 500 mt sprint tournament mt sprint tournament mt points + elimination race mt elimination race mt relays (3 skaters only) ROAD 100 mt sprint tournament 1 lap circuit mt points race mt elimination race mt relays (3 skaters only) MARATHON Please, take note that to attend the World Youth Championship a skater shall be aged 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 at the December 31, Skaters allowed to participate by their age shall although enter either the Senior or the Youth Championship only. A skater having participated at a World Senior Championship shall not participate to any other World Youth Championship. ANTI-DOPING CONTROL The anti-doping control will be carried out according to the FIRS Medical Regulations and WADA Rules.

4 GENDER VERIFICATION No certificate of female gender is required. Nevertheless, in conformity with IOC guidelines, FIRS is entitled to conduct some tests on specific occasions. This would mean laboratory tests could be performed should there be any suspicion. RULES The 2015 Speed Technical Committee Official Regulations and the FIRS Rules will be valid for these Championships. PASSPORT CONTROL AND PAYMENT OF ENTRY FEES It is scheduled on November 13, 2015 at 15h00am at venue to be confirmed. Delegates of all attending countries are kindly requested to be present in order to confirm their entry and nationality showing the passports, and for the payment too, if not made, of their entry fees. In case of payment made in advance, delegates must submit corresponding photocopy. FIRS SPEED TECHNICAL COMMITTEE MEETING AND PREPARATORY MEETING FOR THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS It is scheduled on November 14, 2015 at 10h00am, venue TBC. During the preparatory meeting Federations must confirm the skaters participating at each race. OPENING CEREMONY Opening ceremony on November 14, 2015 at 18h00. (TBC) TEST FOR INTERNATIONAL SPEED JUDGES An examination session for International Speed Judges is scheduled on November 18 at 10h00 am. All concerned National Federations are kindly requested to send to the FIRS Speed Technical Committee Secretariat the concerned documentation.
