2 1. General information The Coaches Development Seminar targets all tournament and wakeboard coaches, trainers and, more generally, people involved in tournament skiing and wakeboard wishing to improve their knowledge. Cable ski coaches and trainers are welcome as there is a good crossover of skills and techniques. This Seminar is geared towards beginner and intermediate coaching up to an early international skiing level. The coaches seminar will be run 19 th to 21 st of April in English. At the same time, there will be a tournament judge s seminar which is aimed at developing people coming into the sport on the judging side. The course will cover the rules and the judge s role over the 3 events (slalom, trick and jump) with the aim to run and judge competitions up to National Level. The judges seminar will be held 19th to 21st of April in English. There will be an national judge exam on Sunday 21 st afternoon. Please note that all participants attending the Seminar should read the IWWF Rule Book ( prior to attending. 2. 5 4.2. Lunch Coffee breaks during the three days of meeting will be available free of charge, courtesy of the Russian Waterski & Wakeboard Federation. There is a nice self-service restaurant next door to the hotel where you can have your lunch or dinner at a reasonable price of about Travel Oktiabrskaya Hotel is located on Nevsky prospect right in the centre of St Petersburg, 5 minutes walk from Moskovsky railway station and 20 km from Pulkovo International Airport. There is a taxi station outside the airport arrivals. Taxi fare to the hotel will cost approximately 25. Transfer to the hotel can be arranged at a set rate of 20 (up to 3 persons in a car). For booking, refer to Hotel Booking Form appendix Visas Most European visitors must have an entry visa. It is better for each participant to check with their travel agency or local Russian Embassy. On request, the organiser will offer invitation letters for all applicants to submit to their local Russian Embassies to assist with the visa proces.
