3 Demino Official FIS ski resort Ski Sport Centre Demino provides ski athletes with excellent conditions for training and carrying out winter sports competitions. Since 2007 Demino centre of sports has organized and carried out Russian and international сompetitions cross-country, archery biathlon, triathlon and winter triathlon, roller ski and others. The capacity of the stadium stands is about spectators, and approximately can watch the competitions standing along the track. 14 well-prepared cross-country skiing courses have FIS certificates of homologation. Sprint courses and courses on the stadium are covered with artificial snow. Demino Ski Marathon has long history since 1965 but in 2008 it was given a new life. Since 2007 Demino has hosted the FIS World Cup Cross- Country and other international competitions. In 2010 during the Men Team Sprint, we had 4.14 million live viewers and that's one of the highest score ever for Cross-Country.

10 Correction work REMARKS of WorldLoppet Technical Delegate Paddy Field (England) TD should arrive on site well prepared to carry out his duties. The finish area should be marked for at least the last 50 metres with 3-4 corridors separated with appropriate markings (ICR and ). The method of ski marking used was timeconsuming and unnecessary. All signs on the course, as well as information to competitors, must be in at least English. The finish area was extremely crowded with media. SOLUTIONS After July 1, 2011 English version of the web-site will be available. Information will be provided beforehand as at the World Cup cross-country. The finish area will be marked according to the FIS Rules. Access to the area only with accreditation cards. Only the elite group will have their skis marked. Stickers will be issued for popular racers. A classic track will be set according to the Rules. The layout will be changed only one 50 km lap. Positions of photo finish cameras will be as at the World Cup cross-country. Internationally agreed signs will be used. Mix-zone and platform for media will be set as at the World Cup cross-country.

11 Correction work REMARKS of WorldLoppet Technical Delegate Paddy Field (England) No clear signing at the exit to the finish area. Only hand timing was used. The use of snowmobiles on the prepared track before and during the race should be discouraged. SOLUTIONS Signs will be set at the exit to the finish area to show direction to clothes, meals, drinks, toilets, etc. For the future, electronic timing (chip system) with manual backup will be implemented. Special tracks for spectators and snowmobiles.
