6 WADA Whereabouts App now available WADA has launched the free ADAMS app for smartphones to more than 25,000 athletes worldwide.the app, which is available immediately to athletes using iphone devices at the itunes App Store will be of particular interest to those athletes in a registered testing pool who have specific anti-doping responsibilities regarding the provision of whereabouts information to support out-of-competition testing.the app will also be available to Android users in December. Using their smartphone, athletes can enter, check and change their whereabouts details at any time with just a few clicks. Using mobile notifications, the app also helps the athletes to remember their obligations to submit whereabouts, including the relevant deadlines to do so. Originally launched in 2012 by the Anti-Doping Authority of the Netherlands for their own athletes, the App represents the successful collaboration between the Anti-Doping Authority of the Netherlands, InnoSportNL, NOC*NSF and CGI, and addresses a shared need by all athletes for greater mobility in whereabouts reporting to ADAMS. ICF CSP Talent Identification Programme (TIP) 2014 In accordance with the ICF Board of Directors decision the principal target of the TIP from 2014 is to identify and select young talented men and women canoe athletes for Canoe Sprint discipline who may qualify to the Olympic Games 2016 and 2020 in men or women canoe category. The planned programme in 2014 (from 13 July to 11 August): 1. Participation in Training Camp and in the Junior/U23 World Championships in Szeged (Hungary) July followed by the 2. Participation in Training Camp and the Senior CSP World Championships in Moscow/Russia 23 July to 11 Aug. The selected athletes could take part in the full programme from 10th July to 11th August 2014 or one of it in accordance with the agreement of the relevant national federation. Limited number of coaches may be accepted in the programme by own payment of the expenses. Application would be accepted from the developing and active national federations (NFs list enclosed) with the agreement of the relevant Continental Association. The criteria of athletes selection is basing on their physical level, times on their best distance and the performance progress from year to year. Athletes might be invited continuously to the ICF TIP in the coming years in consideration with their performance, progress and their cooperation with organization, coaches, team members and other officials. 6 Updates December 2013

7 The condition of application and its acceptation: - Nomination would be considered from those NFs, which are among in the ICF Developing Federations or Developing Federations in Canoe Category - The age limit of athletes is 16 to 22 of years - Men and Women in Canoe Category have absolute priority in the selection.c2 members might be accepted. - The selected NF will keep the deadlines and cooperate with the ICF, host federation and the appointed coaches for the organization of the participation - Apply for the necessary visa and arrange air ticket in due time - Make the entries to the World Ch. as the process required The ICF role and financial support: - The ICF with the approval of the Continental Associations will select the participants in the TIP with consideration of the level of the athlete, gender equity and continental balance, - The ICF will organize the TIP with the cooperation of host NFs, - All expenses of the participation (lodge and board, boat rental, local transportation, pick ups, accreditation fee) will be covered for the invited athletes to the programme, - The ICF may financially support the travelling expenses of the athletes to Hungary and to Moscow by consideration of case by case base.
