4 General Crew Eligibility Teams are advised that back-to-back races are possible. It is incumbent upon teams to manage their own respective crews and that they have sufficient number of athletes (paddlers + drummer + steersperson + reserves) for all the events the teams have registered for. The Race Organizers will not wait for any Team that has back-to-back races. A Team that registers two (2) crews for the same racing category must note that the racing crew line-up (athletes + reserves + drummer + steersperson) cannot be replicated for both crews i.e. Crew 1 must comprise a different set of people from Crew 2, etc.

5 Registration on Race Day 1. Race Secretary will call teams to register 1 hr before the start of your race category. 2. Documents to submit: - Crew List - Waiver and Release of Indemnity 3. Submit your Crew List at the Boat Marshall station on the 1 st Storey 4. No changes to the Crew List once you have started your race Note: Forgot to bring any documents for submission, replacement copies are available on the 2 nd $20 per document

9 PROTESTS & APPEAL - Forms available at Race Secretary at 2 nd Storey - Protest Fee = SGD$50 ; Appeal Fee = SGD$50 - Protests must be filed within 5 mins after race concluded OR within 5 mins after result posted - Appeals must be filed within 5 mins after Protest decision This Protest & Appeal will overwrite the Competition Regulations and Rules of Racing

10 Reporting for Your Race 1. Boat Marshall will call you to report for embarkation. 2. Only the Team Manager and the racing crew will be permitted to the Boat Marshall Area. 3. Boat Marshall will check crew s eligibility or 4. Any person not in the Crew List will not be permitted to go beyond the ramp leading to the Slipway 5. Any person who the Boat Marshall unable to identify will be removed

11 Calling Standard 1 st Call: Registration: 1hr before the start of your race category Reporting: 30 mins before start of race 2 nd Call: 5 mins after 1 st call Teams have 1 min to register or report Final (or Last) Call: 1 min after 2 nd Call Teams must register or report immediately Teams will be declared DNR (Did Not Report) if fail to comply & the race will start and carry on without them

12 Safety - crew must wear PFD (either SDBA-type or own) - crew must put on footwear - Direct DQ for violation

13 Dragon Boat Equipment Using the former racing fleet White Boats No accessories Head, Tail, Drum, Drummer Seat But it still comes with a rudder White Boats does not carry another bank s branding

14 Clear Water Rule Stay clear away from the racing lanes Do not cross into the racing lanes without specific instructions from the Race Starter or Course Umpire When a race in underway, stop paddling to give clear water to the racing boats. This is a Time Penalty offence

15 Straight Course Rule Not in the centre Stay in the center of your respective lanes Always steer in a straight line Race Umpires will issue 3 warnings to any Team not steering in straight line or in the center of the race course. This is a Time Penalty offence. If collision is unavoidable, STOP PADDLING!

17 Any Other Matters TRANSPORTATION - SportsHub advised that they are expecting a huge crowd during this period and there will be NO ad-hoc parking available. - Must purchase Pre-Sold parking coupon if you wish to park at SportsHub - The surface carpark next to Kallang Leisure Mall will be occupied by NDP - Alternative parking is available to Kallang Leisure Mall and Jalan Bennaan Kapal - Encouraged to come by public transport due to the NDP road closures
