1 Harvest Holiday News April 2016 Note from the Chair We had a very good turnout for the dance on March 13, and look forward to another good one on Sunday, April 10. We have a business meeting scheduled for 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 10, 2016, immediately before the Sunday Fun Dance. There are many issues regarding this year s festival and the pre festival dance activities that require a decision, so we encourage members to come to the meeting. Mark your calendar for the Harvest Holiday Mini Fest on Sunday, April 24. This Phase 2 to 4 event includes teaches in the afternoon from 2 to 5 pm and an evening dance from 6:15 to 8:45 pm. For further information, see the flyer on the Harvest Holiday website: A number of our members attended the Oklahoma Round Dance Association Festival at Sequoyah State Park last weekend. The Festival was held at a scenic lodge by a lake. The weather was beautiful all weekend. Karen and Ed Gloodt taught their new Phase 5 Rumba, Si Manana Tu No Estas, which was excellent. Linda and Paul Robinson taught a Hesitation Canter Waltz, which is a new rhythm that we ll see more of in the future.
