2 Dear Studio Principal / A.D.S. Member, We would like to invite you and your pupils to participate in the 2018 A.D.S. STAR Spectacular to be held at ALL HALLOWS School - LORETTO HALL, 547 Ann Street Brisbane City SATURDAY October 6. Doors will open at 9.30am. The first event will take the floor at am. This event is registered as a competition and conducted under the rules of DanceSport Australia. GENERAL INFORMATION: 1. The venue boasts a large dance floor. Heel tips must be worn on all ladies shoes. 2. NO fluids are to be placed on the floor anywhere in the hall. 3. There are limited carparks are available, access to these is gained from DODGE LANE. 4. There will be drop off point at the entrance to the hall this is accessible from Kemp Place. 5. Masters 3 couples may also dance in the Masters 2 events. 6. Under 21 couples may also dance in the Adult events. (refer to DSA age groups) 7. Junior couples may also dance in the Under 21 events. (refer to DSA age groups) 8. Dances are based on the 2018 A.D.S. Australian DanceSport Championships. 9. Competitors may dance up 1 grade. Open events are open to all grades. 10. There will be no dress restrictions for Individual Novelty competitors. 11. There will be a $5 deposit on back numbers (please try to have the correct change). 12. At the numbers table there will be a registration form for all competitors who wish to leave contact details to receive information for upcoming A.D.S. events in Queensland. 13. The A.D.S. takes no responsibility for loss or damage to articles at this event. 14. Please do NOT use spray tan in the ladies change room. 15. Coffee, tea and refreshments will be available on the day. Admission Prices: Adults $35 All children under 16 $5 Age concession (non-competing) $20 Family Ticket (2 Ad. + 2 under 16) $70 A limited number of table seats are available (table of 10) $45 each CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES: Monday September 24.
