JC Tha Barber follows celebrity barber JC Hammons into the homes and dressing rooms of today s hottest stars from the world of film, hip-hop, and professional sports. As their friend, their confidant and their barber, JC gets the inside scoop on the latest celebrity happenings and hottest stories before they break. JC is also a hype man and performer who has been on stage with French Montana, Sean Kingston and Chris Brown. JC s journey to the top has been far from smooth. In his early 20 s he was hanging out with the wrong people and ended up in jail, the impact of this experience would change the direction of his life forever. While incarcerated he found that he had a talent for the barbering arts and decided to follow this career upon his release from prison. The only Filipino in barber school, his hustle and drive set him apart from others and caught the attention of his instructors. JC used his unique ability to market himself to build his clientele and win over those that doubted his talent. Today he finds himself, as one of the most sought after celebrity barbers in the game and an inspiration to many. JC Tha Barber is the brand that JC created and marketed to the L.A. celebrity club scene. Promoted by L.A. s hottest DJs, club goers and celebrities alike took notice. Set against the backdrop of the luxury celebrity lifestyle, this show will expose the personality that is JC Tha Barber to the world. With his signature beard, tattooed body and quirky style, JC appears dangerous and unapproachable but, the series will rapidly unveil a family man with a heart of gold and a larger than life personality with a wicked sense of humour. We will follow JC into the homes, studios and arenas with some of the world s biggest stars, but we will also see him hosting America s biggest barber battle and teaching aspiring barbers his formula for success. JC balances his life as businessman and friend to hiphop s and the NBA s elite stars while raising two beautiful girls and putting their needs above all others. Family is number one, because when all the fame and fortune is gone, family is all you have.

3 Episode Structure Each episode will follow JC through a four act structure with A and B stories and a possible C story if the cameras take us there. The series will be fun, fast and jam packed, just like JC s life. Through JC s eye s the viewers will have unparalleled access into the lives of their favourite stars. Each story will be set against JC the family man. The stark contrast of work and home, will provide a very intimate insight into how much work, dedication and sacrifice goes into leading that public celebrity lifestyle. Viewers always see the polished product that is captured by the cameras and aspire to be their favourite celebs. But, how will they feel after they get an all access look into the hectic schedules and actual work that goes into creating the persona that is consumed by their fans? Though, this is a celebrity driven show, it is our goal to make the celebs and their lifestyle an actual character within the show, so that their lives remain a focus, but serve as a backdrop to allow JC to become the real star of the show. As such, JC, his family and his business life will be the A story throughout the series. The B story will focus on his celebrity clients and his intimate access to their lives. Because so many of JC s famous clients are his friends, the A and B stories will be seamlessly integrated. The C story will focus on JC the celebrity and performer and the building of the JC Tha Barber brand. Filmed in 4K, the series intends to use music performed or created by the celebrities featured as well as possibly new tracks, launched via the episode.

4 Potential Episodes WE THE BEST The show opens at home where JC and his girlfriend T LA are packing and prepping for tomorrow s seminar. JC hosts a Be the Best Barber Seminar to share knowledge with barbers that aspire to become celebrity barbers or achieve greater success in their current businesses. After the seminar JC and T La are grabbing a bite to eat when the call comes in from a mogul looking for JC s signature service. JC meets his client DJ Khaled for a haircut and inspiring talk about success, brand building and how to achieve despite barriers and long odds. There is plenty of snapchatting sure to be taking place. This is an episode sure to inspire and motivate. SNOOPING AROUND JC s daughters Amaya and London are at daddy s for the weekend. There s lots of singing and dancing happening at home as JC choreographs a dance routing with Amaya and little London steals the show. After the girls go to bed, JC is summoned to a secure compound, to cut the hair of Rap Legend Snoop Dogg and his alter ego Todd. Uncle Snoop, as he is known to JC, is up for some fun and games and JC is all about it. Amidst the fun Snoop shares stories from his recent tour and his new TV show with Martha Stewart. JC wants to hear about Snoop s new music, Give us a little taste. JOKER S WILD JC says goodbye to his daughters and drops them off to their mom before he and T LA head to Las Vegas. JC s client and good friend Ty Dolla $ign, is performing at the SLS Hotel, so JC is coming to town to get him and the crew show ready. Ty Dolla is notorious for his pranks, so there is little doubt that we will see him pull off one of his famous gags at the expense of JC or his crew. JC will also be getting himself ready, so he can jump on stage with Ty Dolla and perform in the show. There will be lots of behind the scenes capturing both the pre-show and post-show activities and well as them hanging out together enjoying all that Vegas has to offer.

5 "AND THE WINNER IS" JC and T LA are at home and going through some award show looks. JC is modeling some potential outfits for his red carpet appearances. It s award season and JC is on call to make his client roster look shiny and new for the big night. Sean Kingston, who JC calls family, needs a performance worthy polish and recent client acquisition, Amber Rose needs to look red carpet ready. Sean and JC will rehash some old stories for the show and discuss what is new on the horizon. There are always fun times when Sean is around. JC s relationship with Amber is still very new. This is an opportunity for both JC and the viewers to get to know Amber at the same time. JC s phone is ringing off the hook with last minute requests, but this barber only has two hands. Work!!!! "HOOP DREAMS" (TWO EPISODES) In these two episodes we will follow JC and his girlfriend T La to New Orleans, Louisiana for the NBA All Star Game. This will be a good opportunity to see that T LA is more than just JC s girlfriend. She manages his business and his life. She will be organizing the madness that is sure to be an All-Star weekend. We will focus on JC s hotel suite where he will prepare for the incoming rush of celebrities and various NBA Stars alike. Everyone needs him to work his magic before the big game. We will showcase the crazy streets of New Orleans, the fun people and the amazing food. JC and T La will visit different stores, bars and restaurants on iconic Bourbon Street all while trying to juggle the demands of his celebrity and NBA clientele. This will be a great opportunity to see the athletes and stars in a fun party like atmosphere enjoying all that this event and city has to offer. "BALLIN' AND SHOT CALLIN'" We open in JC s kitchen where the whole family is having breakfast. Amaya is at the stove whipping up here famous strawberry pancakes. T La is going to take the girls shopping while JC heads to work. JC the Official barber of the Los Angeles Clippers NBA team arrives at the Clippers practice facility to cut the hair of DeAndre Jordan, Blake Griffin, JJ Reddick, Paul Pierce and Austin Rivers. After cutting their hair, JC gets some court time and puts on a basketball shooting exhibition. Feeling himself, he challenges his NBA clients to a ping pong tournament, where things get heated. JC will get stories from the players about life on the road and who their toughest opponents are and perhaps, an embarrassing moment or two. We will hear about their individual business dealings and personal causes.

6 VIVA LA FRENCH JC and his girlfriend are off to Las Vegas again. French Montana has residency at the Marquee in the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas where we get to spend some time with JC s first celebrity client and close friend. This will give us an incredibly intimate look at their relationship. Plus, we will see French perform with a possible guest appearance by JC. We will follow them enjoying some of the best restaurants and clubs the town has to offer in a fun VIP experience. JC THE BARBARIAN The episode begins at home. Amaya has a friend over and they perform for JC and T LA. JC can t help but get involved and help them improve their performance. JC is in his comfort zone among his barber colleagues and as the center of attention, as he hosts the LA Barber Battle. As one of the biggest celebrity barbers in the world, JC loves to share his knowledge and promote up-and-coming barbers. This will give us an amazing look at how much of a big teddy bear he really is. You will see him judge, host and give advice to all the participants. He is in his natural element the spotlight. King for a Day The episode opens with JC in his home barber shop finishing up his work on a former NFL player. T La has packed his bag for travel. NBA player Matt Barnes is a short plane ride away in Sacramento, CA. He summons JC to SAC Town for a cut. JC does not want to waste the opportunity so he asks another client and Barnes teammate DeMarcus Boogie Cousins to meet him at the Arena for a cut as well. The boys enjoy some downtime before the game that night where JC is their guest in the owner s box. "PEACE MAKER" Laura Govan meets JC at his home shop for some grooming and advice. She is Gilbert Arenas baby mama with four of his kids. Not all of JC s clients get along. Two of JC s clients and good friends are NBA players Nick Young and Gilbert Arenas. Recently the two have had a very public falling out. JC wants to put an end to that and has them both over his house to get a fresh cut not knowing the other will also be there. The tension will be high but with JC s cool and fun demeanor and we can make it work attitude, the day turns around and we see all three of them having a good time making fun of each other maybe JC will take one for the team and have them give him a haircut.

7 GIVING BACK JC and the family are preparing at home to go out and do something important. JC is a charitable man and he wants to instill these values in his children. JC volunteers his services to Haircuts for the Homeless. With success comes the responsibility to give back and help those less fortunate. He brings along his oldest daughter along to help out and teach her the lessons that will keep her grounded as she grows up. His heart shines through. He is simply a man, a father, fortunate to be in his station in life but, no better than the misfortunate man that sits in his chair. There are sure to be a few surprises in this episode. CUT HAIR YOU MUST The show opens with JC at home with his daughters. They are in the middle of a Light Sabre battle when his cell phone rings and the newest Star Wars star John Boyega needs a trim, JC answers the call of the force. While cutting John s hair JC gets to talk with him not only about the new Star Wars movie that s being filmed but also about his other interests and passions. Unlike normal press tours John is relaxed sitting with his favorite barber and confidant, talking and joking and showing us who he really is.
