2 SITES OF LINDEN ATHLETIC FACILITIES From the New Jersey Turnpike North or South Get off at Exit 13 and follow the signs to Route 278 West to Route 1 & 9 South. This will put you on Route 1 & 9 South TO COOPER ATHLETIC FIELD: [Varsity/JV/Freshman/Middle School Football, Boys & Girls Spring Track] On Route 1 & 9 South, follow to South Wood Avenue (Wheeler Park & gas station on corners). Turn right onto South Wood Avenue and follow about ten blocks, go under the railroad underpass and through the center of town. Look for a Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins on left. Go to the next traffic light (Elementary School #1 & Funeral Home on the corners) and turn left onto Curtis Street and proceed to the Field about 3 blocks down on your right at the corner of DeWitt Street. TO LINDEN HIGH SCHOOL: [Varsity/JV Boys & Girls Basketball, Varsity Gymnastics, Varsity & JV Wrestling] (Follow above directions to Dunkin Donuts/ Baskin Robbins). Continue 3 blocks past Dunkin Donuts and turn left onto Gesner Street. Continue two blocks to Ainsworth Street. School is on the corner. Turn right onto Ainsworth Street for Gym entrance. TO SOEHL MIDDLE SCHOOL: [Soehl Boys & Girls Basketball] (Follow above directions to Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins). At Dunkin Donuts, turn right onto Henry Street. School is about 3 blocks down on the right. TO McMANUS MIDDLE SCHOOL: [McManus Boys Soccer, Middle School Girls Soccer, Middle School Wrestling, McManus Baseball] (Follow the above directions to Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins). Continue on Wood Avenue 4 blocks past Dunkin Donuts to St. George Avenue (Walgreen s Drug Store on right). Turn left onto St. George and continue past the high school one block to DeWitt Terrace (Fire House on corner). Turn right onto DeWitt and continue to school about 6 blocks down on the left at corner of Edgewood Road. TO SCHOOL #1: [Freshman Boys Basketball] (Follow the above directions to Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins) Continue one block past Dunkin Donuts to School #1 on right. Turn right onto Curtis Street gymnasium is at back of building. TO MEMORIAL FIELD: [Varsity/JV Baseball & Softball, Freshman Baseball] From Route 1 & 9 South, go past Wood Avenue and continue to next traffic light at end of Wheeler Park. Turn left onto South Stiles Street and continue to Veterans Memorial Park about a mile down on the left, right after the Little League Fields.

3 TO DEERFIELD TERRACE SCHOOL # 9: [Girls Varsity Soccer/ Boys JV Soccer, McManus Softball]. Continue on Route 1 & 9 to South Stiles Street (Wheeler Park on corner) and turn right. Go under the railroad underpass and continue to the 4 th traffic light (Princeton Road) and turn right onto Princeton and continue two blocks to Exeter Road. Turn right onto Exeter and continue to the field, which is in back of the school. TO KALLA PARK, BEHIND HIGHLAND AVENUE SCHOOL #10: [Boys Varsity Soccer/Girls JV Soccer] Follow the above directions to South Stiles Street and turn right. Go under the railroad underpass and continue to the 5 th traffic light (Valley Road). Bear to the right. This is a continuation of Stiles Street. Continue to the last block before the next traffic light (Winfield Park on left). Turn right onto Springfield Road and continue to the field at the end of the block. TO WHEELER PARK [Soehl Soccer] Follow the above directions to South Stiles Street and turn right. Field is at the corner of South Stiles and Route 1&9. TO LINDEN MULTIPURPOSE CENTER (Recreation Center) ( Freshman Basketball) Turnpike to Exit 13. After Toll at Exit 13, follow signs to Bayway Ave. Follow Bayway Ave. to Route 1 & 9 South. Take Route 1 & 9 South to Park Ave. in Linden (White Castle on corner) Turn right onto Park Ave. and follow to the third traffic light, St. George Ave. Turn left onto St. George and follow to the block after the fifth traffic light, John St. Turn left onto John St. for one block to the corner of Union St. Recreation Center is on the corner. From the Garden State Parkway (From the North) Get off at Exit 136, turn right at the exit ramp and go around the jug handle to turn left. Go over the Parkway bridge onto Stiles Street to the first traffic light - (From the South) Get off at Exit 136, bear right at the exit onto Stiles Street to the first traffic light - TO LINDEN HIGH SCHOOL: [Varsity/JV Boys & Girls Basketball, Varsity Gymnastics, Varsity/JV Wrestling] Get into the left turn lane at the light and turn left onto Raritan Road. Continue to the first block after the first traffic light and turn right onto Summit Terrace. Follow to the end at St. George Avenue. School is across the street. Gym is around to the left at the back of the building. TO COOPER FIELD: [Varsity/JV/Freshman/Middle School Football, Boys & Girls Spring Track] get into the left turn lane at the light and turn left onto Raritan Road. Continue to the first traffic light and turn right onto DeWitt Terrace. Follow to the first light (St. George Avenue Fire House on right). Go through the light and continue three blocks to Curtis Street. Turn right. Field is at the corner of DeWitt and Curtis.

4 TO KALLA PARK, BEHIND HIGHLAND AVENUE SCHOOL #10: [Boys Varsity Soccer/Girls JV Soccer] Go straight through the intersection and onto Stiles Street (Winfield Park development on right). At the first corner after the traffic light, turn left onto Springfield Road. Field is at the end of the block on Wickersham Avenue. TO DEERFIELD TERRACE SCHOOL #9: [Girls Varsity Soccer/Boys JV Soccer, Middle School Softball] Go straight through intersection and onto Stiles Street (Winfield Park development on right). Continue to the first traffic light (road will bend to the right). Bear left at the light (this is still Stiles Street) and continue to the next light, at Princeton Road. Turn left onto Princeton and continue for two blocks to Exeter Road. Turn right onto Exeter and continue to field. TO McMANUS MIDDLE SCHOOL: [Middle School Soccer, Middle School Wrestling, Middle School Baseball] Turn left at the intersection onto Raritan Road. Continue to the first traffic light and turn right onto DeWitt Terrace. McManus is about ten blocks down on the right at the corner of Edgewood Road. TO SOEHL MIDDLE SCHOOL: [Middle School Boys & Girls Basketball] Turn left at the intersection onto Raritan Road. Continue to the second traffic light and bear right at Roselle Shopping Center (Dunkin Donuts on corner) onto Wood Avenue. Follow Wood Avenue past the traffic light at St. George Avenue and School #1 on the left and continue to Henry Street (7-11 and Dunkin Donuts/ Baskin Robbins on corners). Turn left onto Henry Street and continue for three blocks to school on right. TO MEMORIAL FIELD: [Varsity/JV Baseball & Softball, Freshman Baseball] Go through the intersection onto Stiles Street (Winfield Park housing development on right). Continue on Stiles Street about a quarter mile and turn left at the first traffic light (this is a continuation of Stiles Street). Continue on Stiles Street for about another two miles. (You will cross St. George Avenue, and go under a railroad overpass.) At the 6 th traffic light you will cross Route 1 & 9. (Park on the corner of Stiles and Route 1 & 9 is Wheeler Park, not Memorial.) After you cross Route 1 & 9, the field is about a half a mile down on the left after the Little League fields. Sign will read Veterans Memorial Park. TO ST MARK S PARK [Soehl Baseball] Continue on Stiles Street going through the first intersection, Raritan Road and follow to the next traffic light and bear left. (This is a continuation of Stiles Street) Follow Stiles Street to the fourth traffic light and turn left onto Elizabeth Avenue. (last traffic light before the railroad overpass) (Gas station & diner on corners) Continue on Elizabeth Avenue, crossing Wood Avenue and continuing past the next traffic light until you come to railroad trestle. Go under the trestle and turn left onto Chandler Avenue at the blinking light (firehouse on corner) Follow Chandler Avenue for 3 blocks and turn right onto Hussa Street. Follow Hussa to the field on the right.

5 TO 5 TH WARD PARK [Soehl Softball] at the first intersection, turn left onto Raritan Road. Follow Raritan Road to the second traffic light and bear right onto Wood Avenue. (Dunkin Donuts on corner) Follow Wood Avenue to the first traffic light, St. George Avenue (Walgreen s on corner) and turn left. Follow St. George Avenue for about a mile and a half, over the railroad tracks to Park Avenue. (Warinanco Park on left, Betty-Lind diner on right) Turn right onto Park Avenue and continue for two blocks and turn right onto Dill Avenue. Park is on the left. TO WHEELER PARK [Soehl Soccer] Go through intersection onto Stiles Street (Winfield Park housing development on right). Continue on Stiles Street about a quarter mile and turn left at the first traffic light (this is a continuation of Stiles Street) Continue on Stiles Street for about another two miles. (You will cross St. George Avenue, and go under a railroad overpass.) Go through the traffic light after the overpass and continue to field on the corner of Stiles and Route 1 &9 TO LINDEN MULTIPURPOSE CENTER (Recreation Center) (Freshman Basketball) Garden State Parkway South to Exit 136. Turn right off the exit ramp and go around the jug handle to turn left. Go over the Parkway bridge, staying to the left and make a left hand turn at the intersection onto Raritan Rd. Follow Raritan Road past the first traffic light and bear to the right at the second light onto Wood Ave. (Dunkin Donuts & Roselle Shopping Center on corner). Follow Wood Ave. to the next light and turn left onto St. George Ave. Take St. George Ave for about a mile, going over the railroad track and make the first right onto Baltimore Ave. Take Baltimore Ave for one block to Union St. and turn left. Continue on Union St. one block to John St. and Recreation Center is on the corner of Union and John.
