2 2018 EAST TEXAS AUTO & CYCLE SHOW FEBRUARY 16 th, 17 th and 18 th, 2018 PARTICIPANT INFORMATION **Proceeds benefit the East Texas Crisis Center** Entry Fee: Cars/Trucks: $50.00 Donation - Includes (10' x 20' area + 1 DINNER) Motorcycle: $50.00 Donation - Includes (10' x 10' area + 1 DINNER) Deadline: Entry deadline is January 25, All entries will be reviewed by a selection committee. Selected entrants will be notified by phone or on or before February 2, 2018 Show Set-up: Thursday, February 15 th (10am-12pm)(12pm 3pm)(3pm 5pm)(5pm 7pm) Friday, February 16 th (8:00am 10am) For safety reasons, NO CHILDREN UNDER age 12 permitted in Harvey Convention Center during set-up and tear-down times. Show Hours: Friday February 16, pm 9pm Saturday February 17, am 7pm Sunday February 18, am 4pm Facilities: Harvey Convention Center 2000 West Front Street Tyler, Texas ALL SHOW PARTICIPANTS MUST FURNISH THEIR OWN STANCHIONS. In an effort to professionalize the show, your display will be 10% of the total points awarded by the Judges. While not a strict requirement, we highly recommend some type of floor covering and protective stanchions as a minimum. All displays should be in good taste and not be so extensive that they overpower the vehicle hour security will be provided Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights and during show hours. Awards: 1. Awards will be given in all classes. Special awards will be given for the following categories: *Engine *Paint & Body *Interior *Under-carriage *Display *Other categories 2. All awards will be presented at 4:00pm on Sunday, February 18 th.

3 Hospitality: 1. Two 2)wrist bands will be provided to each entrant. Additional wrist bands are $ Wrist Bands must be worn on wrists through duration of show for admittance into Harvey Convention Center. 2. A dinner for participants and sponsors will be held Friday evening. One dinner pass per entry will be provided. Additional guest dinners may be purchased for $ Coffee, soft drinks, and refreshments will be provided throughout the show at Harvey Convention Center in the Hospitality Room to participants and vendors wearing wristbands. 4. Concessions by Corner Bakery will be available at Harvey Convention Center during show times on Saturday and Sunday. All proceeds benefit the programs of East Texas Crisis Center. The Center is a non-profit, United Way agency assisting victims of family violence, sexual abuse, and violent crimes. Services include individual and group counseling, emergency shelter for women and children escaping violence, legal and medical advocacy, public education, children s counseling and a 24-hour Hotline.

4 2018 EAST TEXAS AUTO & CYCLE SHOW PARTICIPANT SHOW RULES 1. No alcoholic beverages will be permitted in the Harvey Convention Center during show and on set-up days. Violators of this rule will be disqualified. 2. No Armor-All type products are allowed in Harvey Convention Center. 3. Only working animals of individuals with disabilities allowed in the Convention Center. 4. If vehicle is determined, at the time of set-up, not to be of show quality, the vehicle will be denied entry into the show. 5. All vehicles and displays should be presented in good taste. Obscene or suggestive artwork or lettering must be removed or covered. 6. *All participants must be in place in Harvey Convention Center by Friday, Feb. 16 th at 10:00am. Set up and displays must be completed on Friday by 3:00pm. If your space is not filled by 10:00am it will go to someone on the waiting list. In case of emergency call Jenny Hays at (903) or 7. Displays must conform to assigned space limitations and they must allow judges total accessibility to all sides of the vehicle. All displays must meet fire codes regulations. 8. State, county, and city laws, fire codes, and/or convention center policies require: Gas tank less than 1/4 full Gas cap locked or taped Battery disconnected Keys in ignition at all times during display Oil (drip) pan or carpet under engine Tiles or carpet must be under the tires No duct tape on floor GAS TANKS WILL BE CHECKED BEFORE ENTRY IS ALLOWED INTO THE CONVENTION CENTER. VEHICLES WITH OVER ¼ TANK WILL NOT BE ADMITTED INTO THE SHOW.

5 9. Each display will be limited to 110-volt power only. A three-wire system must be used. All wiring must comply with local building regulations. 10. Displays cannot be dismantled prior to completion of show. All displays must be removed no later than 6:00pm on Sunday. Clean up of display area is the responsibility of each participant. 11. No commercial signs will be allowed within the vehicle display spaces. 12. Engines of entries must not be operated while spectators remain in the building. Violators will be disqualified from competition. Drivers must wait until authorized by show officials to start their vehicle to leave. 13. At no time will careless, reckless driving or unnecessary noise from entries be tolerated, including during set-up and teardown hours. 14. Show officials and personnel are not responsible for theft or damage to vehicles and/or articles displayed. 15. Judges will not touch cars during judging process. Trunk, engine compartment, and interior (one door open) must be open for judges viewing by 9:00am. Saturday morning or points will not be awarded for these areas during judging. 16. It is recommended that all entrants have someone present at the display at all times during the show. 17. Vehicles for sale inside the Convention Center are not encouraged. However, arrangements can be made on arrival for an authorized FOR SALE sign for a fee of $ There is a requirement that pads, tiles or carpeting must be placed under each tire immediately upon vehicles entering the convention center. It is preferred that full carpet or tile would cover the entire display space. A drip pan must also be placed under each vehicle immediately. 19. Vehicles that have been entered into the show the previous year will be allowed entry into the show ONLY if space is available. If space is not available, these vehicles will be placed on a waiting list. 20. Entrants will NOT open exit doors to allow another person to enter Harvey Convention Center without paying the entry fee. 21. Entrants will wear wristbands on their wrist at all times throughout the show, and anyone not wearing a wristband on their wrist will be charged the regular entry fee to enter the convention center.

6 FRIENDS OF THE CENTER Benefitting the East Texas Crisis Center With your donation of $100 you will become a member of Friends of the Center. Your donation will support our safe haven for women and their children who are forced to leave their home to escape family violence. A special recognition sign will be given to each 2018 Friends of the Center member to display at the show. We sincerely thank you for helping restore dignity and hope in the lives of hundreds of women and children each year.
