Both gyms will be throwing Halloween bashes full of activities for everyone! Gymtowne staff and team members will be on hand to play Halloween games and supervise free play throughout the parties. As always, this annual event is free to members and their friends! A costume parade will let everyone show off their Halloween best!! Mark your calendars! Come in Costume! It s a Blast! BOO! 3 page. Meet By The Bay - Gymtowne Success Times Two!! Gymtown_ Hosts Th_ Highly Comp_titiv_ M t [n^ Domin[t_s! O]to\_r 4, 2015 [t th_ South S[n Fr[n]is]o Gym Gymtowne hit it out of the park with this meet! Over 175 gymnasts from 6 NorCal teams met at our SSF gym in hopes of winning top honors. Everyone at Gymtowne and our parents group - the GGE (Gymtowne Gymnastics Enthusiasts) - pulled out all of the stops to make it a premier meet! Our teams represented with skill and determination. It was a top day! Level 3: Child Div. - In this youngest group, Olivia Miles led our team. She placed 3rd All Around and 3rd on the balance beam. Close behind her was Gabriella O Connor who placed 3rd on the vault and uneven bars, and 4th All Around. Kate Underwood flew to a 2nd place on the vault. Coming in 4th on the beam, Bela Bhushan was all grace. Reese Perkins was 8th on the vault and Nahla Repp tied for 9th on the beam. Junior A Div. - Angelina Schreiber placed 11th on the vault and beam. Junior B Div. - Emma Lackner was hard to beat in this age group! She dominated the bars, beam and overall scoring with 1st place marks on all three (total score was ). She also placed 2nd on the vault. On the beam, Sierra Tiatia tied for 4th place. Darlene Harsana was the 5th place winner on the floor. Senior Div. - With a 2nd place overall score of , Daniela Tolentino had a great day. She placed 1st on the vault and 2nd on the bars and floor. As a team, our Level 3 gymnasts placed 1st on the vault and 3rd overall. Level 4: Child Div. - Our five competitors in this division placed in the top seven All Around spots! Danielle Myhres topped the group with a 1st place on the floor and 2nd places on the beam and overall (score ). Sasha Frank was close behind with a 3rd All Around score and a tie for 2nd on the bars. Placing 4th overall, Jaya Miller pulled out all of the stops on vault and won a 1st place medal. Nadya Wu was 5th All Around and 3rd on the beam. All Around 7th place winner, Malika McClain earned 4th places on the bars and floor. Junior Div. - Another top Gymtowne vaulter, Allison Mollin placed 1st in the vault event. She was also 2nd on the beam and 4th overall. Aja Tsutsumi scored a 2nd place on the uneven bars and Sophia Mendoza flew to 2nd place on the vault. Josie Miller came in 8th on the beam. Senior Div. - Youki Miyoshi was our top scorer with a 3rd overall (35.825), a tie for 3rd on the bars and a 4th on the vault. On the beam, Hayley Sperinde tied for 6th. Alicia Ferro tied for 9th place on both the vault and floor events. Our Level 4 Gymtowne team placed 2nd overall against top competition. Level 5: Child Div. - All Around Gymnast Annika Durham was Gymtowne s top scoring gymnast of the day! She earned points for a 1st place. She also topped the list with 1st places on the vault and bars! With a tie for 2nd on the beam and a tie for 3rd on the floor, she had a fabulous day. Jayna Guevara tied with Annika for 2nd place on the bars. She placed 4th All Around. In 5th place overall, Samantha McAllister s best event was the uneven bars where she placed 2nd. She also tied for 3rd on the floor with Annika. Sofie Gelzleichter came in 3rd on the bars. Faith Dyogi had an awesome vault that placed her in 3rd and Josie Kearns danced to a 6th place on the floor. Junior Div. - Kylie DeMartini led this group with 1st places on the vault and floor. She was also 3rd on the beam and tied for 2nd overall. Though Jadyn Gee only competed in one event, the beam, she dominated and won a 1st place. Fourth place All Around scorer, Camryn Tobias also placed 3rd on the bars and 4th on the floor. Madelleine Lugue was 4th on the bars and 5th on the beam and overall. Maya Sell came in 5th on the uneven bars. Senior Div. - Nhoelle Rocero had a solid meet with 2nd places on the bars, beam and All Around scorings. She also placed 3rd on the vault and floor. Brianna Calibo tied for 5th on the bars. As a team, our Level 5 team was unbeatable! They were named 1st place All Around Team and 1st place on the vault, bars and beam!
