Show night, dancers should arrive at Center High School Theater, 3111 Center Court Lane, Antelope, ready to go onstage wearing their Dance Gallery 2 leotard or T-shirt. All dancers should arrive at least ½ hour before scheduled show time. The Holiday Revue show times are 6:00PM and 7:30PM, and proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Sutter Memorial Children s Life Program. The Child Life Program is known for its compassion and understanding to seriously and terminally ill children and their families. The United States Marines have been a special part of the annual DG2 Holiday Revue Performance for 16 years. The Marines will be present again this year and the DG2 is proud to be involved with the US Marines Toys For Tots Foundation and support our men and women in uniform. You will see the Parade Dancers and the US Marines on stage December 15 at the Center High School Theater, in the annual DG2 Holiday Revue! 2 page 2 December 2017 (Continued from page 1) Our DG2 Student Teachers group does more than just work in the classes as volunteers; they also have so many different events and opportunities. Recently they visited the Sutter Hospital Children s Center Child Life Program and got a tour of the new facility. The Student Teachers presented the children in the hospital with stage costumes to play dress up and enjoy. And don t forget, proceeds from our Holiday Revue performance benefit the Child Life Program, a very worthy cause! Tis the Season to share and be joyful! REMINDER: ALL DG2 DANCERS WEAR THEIR BLACK DG2 DANCEWEAR ONSTAGE FOR THE HOLIDAY REVUE PERFORMANCE. Don t forget, each DG2 family gets 2 complimentary show tickets for their paid recital fee. Tickets will also be available at the DG2 and at the door for $10. Bring in a NEW unwrapped toy to donate to the Marines Toys for Tots by De- cember 2 and get one complimentary Holiday Revue ticket. *Limit one offer per family. For more information, call the DG2: (916) The Dance Gallery 2 is proud to have the opportunity to work with the United States Marine Corps and their Toys for Tots project as part of our Holiday Revue performance. Toys for Tots distributes Christmas gifts to less fortunate families in our communities so that every child may have a merry Christmas. The DG2 is honored to to be able to assist the U.S. Marines with this worthy project. We do anticipate a sold out house for our Holiday Revue. To accommodate all of our Dance Gallery 2 families, we will have two performances. Please carefully check the enclosed performance schedule to see which show you are participating in (6:00 pm or 7:30 pm show). Holiday Revue Tickets Available December 4. Our DG2 Student Teachers had the amazing opportunity to attend So You Think You Can Dance in Reno on November 18! Miss Lucy and Robin (from our adult class) got a special pass that allowed them to meet the cast. The Student Teachers also had a

3 page 3 December 2017 (Continued from page 2) Rehearsals are a very important part of preparing for a performance. Many of our dancers will be onstage for the very first time, and rehearsals help the dancers understand what it is like to be in front of an audience. The rehearsal schedule is enclosed and also on our website. DON T FORGET SANTA IS COMING TO THE DG2 ON DECEMBER 2 FROM 10AM-1PM! ***Also, please note that the rehearsals take place at the Center High School Theater. We realize this could be inconvenient, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation. Everyone will benefit and our show will be even better! Food and drinks are not permitted at Center High School Theater at any time. Bottled water is permitted. On December 9, eighteen of our award-winning parade dancers will represent Northern California and the DG2 in Disney s Dance the Magic Merry Holiday Parade down Disneyland s Main Street U.S.A. Under the direction of DG2 teacher Summer Cedarleaf, our dancers are looking great and are a proud representation of the DG2. It s sure to be an exciting and memorable event! BACKSTAGE MOMS NEEDED!! Theresa Reading, our backstage manager, says We need HELP, HELP, HELP with dancers during our Holiday Revue performance. If you are willing and able, let us know ASAP! Please fill out and turn in the enclosed Backstage Volunteer form. The mandatory volunteers meeting will be during rehearsal (attend only one): Wednesday, December 13 and Thursday, December 14. 4 page 4 December 2016 (Continued from page 3) Our 29 DG2 parade dancers have been making people smile as they performed in their beautiful festive holiday costumes. They were definitely an amazing sight in the annual Roseville Parade on November 18 and in the Loomis Day Before Thanksgiving parade in downtown Loomis. The dancers were also seen on TV Friday November 24 when Good Day Sacramento visited the DG2 to do a feature story about our incredible dance school and our upcoming Holiday Revue which benefits the Sutter Children Center Child Life Program. Invite all your family and friends to come see our dancers and be part of this years wonderful Holiday Revue event. We are so proud of all of the DG2 dancers!

The Holiday Revue is scheduled for Friday, December 15. Showtimes are 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm. A rehearsal schedule is enclosed and will also be posted online and in the studios. We realize that rehearsal times can cause some inconveniences, but the results are well worth it.
