DSM Dyneema Pure DM 20 is used in this rope with zero elongation. The rope surface is furnished with a special protective finish which endows the rope with unusual abrasion resistance and stability when exposed to UV radiation. MATERIAL: 12-strand braided heat set rope 100% Dyneema DM 20, special surface finish D-F1 Number one among halyard ropes. D-F1 is an unbeatably strong rope with minimum elongation. D-F1 can be used in place of a steel wire rope but with a significantly lower weight. 3 6 Racing Line D-RACE D-RACE is a very strong rope with exceptionally low elongation which, thanks to the structure of the polyester cover, holds very well at all stoppers. It is a racing rope suitable to be used as haylard, vang and cunnigham rope. Due to the sophisticated process of heat setting and fibre stretching, the rope feels stiff to the touch, but it is getting the required flexibility during the first days of use. Thanks to those properties, V-PROFI is exceptionally fitting for all halyards and backstays. The inner cover made of polyester staple fibre prevents the relative movement of the cover towards the core. The cover made of low abrasive polyester fibre endows the rope with outstanding abrasion resistance and long life.
