3 ABERMAIN BOWLING & RECREATION CLUB LTD ABN NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING NOTICE is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of ABERMAIN BOWLING & RECREATION CLUB LTD is to be held on MONDAY, 24 th JULY 2017 commencing at 6.00pm (Doors Open 5.30pm) at the premises of the registered office of the Club at Cnr Armidale & Goulburn Street, Abermain, 2326, in the State of New South Wales. AGENDA 1. Apologies 2. To confirm and adopt the Minutes of the Annual General Meeting of the Club held on 25 July To consider and, if thought fit, accept the Annual Report (Financial Report, Directors Report & Auditor s Report) of the Abermain Bowling & Recreation Club Ltd for the 12 months ended 30 th April To appoint the auditor Mark Walmsley for the financial year of the Club at a remuneration of $1, GST. 5. Annual Reports and Financial Statements will be available at the office or can be downloaded at from 12pm Friday, 7 th July Members are requested that any questions relating to the Club s financial statements be provided to the Secretary Manager by 5pm on Friday, 14 th July 2017 so that an accurate and detailed response can be provided.

4 Presidents Report Year Ended 30 th April 2017 It is with much pleasure that the Board of Directors, Management & myself present our Financial Report for year ending 30 th April Once again we have a positive result with a profit of $96, Yes, the figure is slightly down on last year but still a positive result none the less. The decrease in our profit is mainly due to increased depreciation, both bar & poker machine income are slightly down and the main factor was incorporated in last year s figurers was $33,398 insurance claim. Credit must be made and a big thank you to Cathy Flegg our Secretary Manager and our valued Staff for their ongoing dedication, commitment and professionalism in providing such high standards of customer service to our valued Members. Throughout this year and as previously we have supported local sporting groups & charities. To our Pennant Teams, we thank you for your support and commitment; all Club Championships have finished for the year with some great results and congratulations to all the winners. This year has seen the restart of the Lady Bowlers who look striking in their new uniform. Also thank you to all social bowlers for their support. The kitchen has seen some changes again this year with Eamon & Kaycee now running the Blues Bistro. They are doing well and looking forward to a long term relationship between themselves and the Club. To all our sporting groups, bowling members, social bowlers and representative members, poker machine players, dart players, pool players, bingo players and to all members of the Club we thank you for your support throughout the year. Condolences to all members who have lost loved ones during the past twelve months, our thoughts are with you all. In closing, the Board, Management and staff would like to thank all our members and guests for their support. For without the support from everybody we would not be able to achieve such a good result. The Board and myself are looking forward to a better twelve months ahead and a brighter future for our Club.
