3 P2P2017 GENERAL INFORMATION On 17th september 2017 takes place the IX edition of P2P Pamplona Puente Skate Marathon, with start line in Plaza del Castillo of Pamplona and finishing line in Paseo de los Fueros of Puente la Reina. Considered as the hardest skate marathon of the world because of the incline in some of its stretchs. This date offers the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery and to share place with worldwide skate stars. During the day, it also could be enjoyed the P2P-Txiki, a popular race for lower categories, and the #P2PCHALLENGE. As a novelty this year on Saturday 16th (the day before the race) there will be celebreted Pamplona en patines Iruñea patinetan, a skate party in the centre of Pamplona.

4 OFFICIAL TIMETABLE Friday 15th and Saturday 16th september 10:00 a 13:30h 17:00 a 20:00h Numbers and skater s bag picking up Numbers picking up will take place obligatorily on Friday and Saturday before the P2P2017 in Elite Sport shop. It could be possible that the numbers picking up will move to the event evento Pamplona en patines Iruñea patinetan on Saturday afternoon. 8:30 a 9:30h Bags giving for trasport to Puente la Reina The giving of bags for transport to Puente la Reina will be in Plaza del Castillo of Pamplona (start line area). 8:30 a 9:30h Numbers and skater s bag picking up Numbers picking up will take place at the start line area, near the bandstand of Plaza del Castillo. Only with a special request you will be able to pick up your number on Sunday. 9:00 a 9:40h Team photos All skaters could take the official P2P photography in the photocall of Plaza del Castillo. Sunday 17th september 9:45h Last call to start line Skaters should get into their pertinent pit. 10:00h The marathon starts Starting shot of the marathon in Plaza del Castillo of Pamplona. 12:30h End of the marathon Arrival of the sweeper bus to Puente la Reina. 12:45h P2P2017 challenge Sports challenge at the finish line. 13:15h Awards ceremony It will take parti at Plaza del Ayuntamiento of Puente la Reina. 14:00h Bus leaving Return of buses to Pamplona from the finish line.

5 NUMBERS PICKING UP AND SKATER S BAG Numbers picking up will take place obligatorily on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th in Elite Sport shop, to avoid the crowd before the marathon. Numbers only would be picken up on Sunday 17th after writing the organization explaining the reason why. To pick up the number you should show your identity card. To pick up others number you should show a photo or photocopy of the skater s identity card. Friday 15th and Saturday 16th September: Place: Elite Sport shop, in Avenida Bayona, 30, Pamplona Iruñea. Phone number: Time table: 10:00h a 13:30h y de 17:00h a 20:00h* * It could be possible that the numbers picking up will move to the event event «Pamplona en patines Iruñea patinetan» at the city centre on Saturday afternoon. Sunday 17th September: Place: Plaza del Castillo of Pamplona (starting line area). Time table: Between 8:30h and 9:30h. Punctuality is required.

6 NUMBER The number should be placed in the external part of the left leg The number colour indicates the box of each skater The organization does not guarantee that safety pins could be given to the participants No one could get into a pit without a number The skater that losts the number during the race would not have the classification final time Medical information should be written down at the back of the number At the provisioning area in Puente la Reina, numbers will be completed as Finisher and the official finish time will be written down Female skaters will have a red number, and male ones will have black number

7 CHIP With the number a chip will be given. The chip should be placed obligatorily on the helmet (Fotos 1 y 2). The chip sould be placed on the helmet to avoid problems with carpets on the floor. The chip could be placed in three different ways: bridled (Fotos3 y 4) or sticked (Foto 5) The sticked version should be done with double sided adhesive (Foto 6) The chip should not be absolutely folded (Foto 7). Take yout helmet to the numbers delivery stand and we will help you to place the chip. The skater that losts or miss place the chip will not have the classification final time.

8 STARTING LINE AREA The beginning of the P2P will take part in Plaza del Castillo, situated in the city center of Pamplona- Iruñea, one of the most recognizable places of the city. It is difficult to park in the street near the starting line area. It is recommended to park in private parking lot situated in the proximities or outlying neighbourhoods. You can do the warm up in the starting line area. All skaters could take free pictures with the P2P official photographers, in the photocall of the marathon. In the starting line area there are a big number of bars and cafes and public WC.

9 STARTING LINE ORGANIZATION LÍNEA DE SALIDA The call to the starting line is at 9:45h. Each skater should access to their box depending on the colour of their number. The belonging to a pit depends on the time done in other marathons. The starting shot is at 10:00h. All participants will leave the same time, organized in pits.

10 BAG S TRANSPORT The organization takes, for free and with no need to be asked before, the bags of the skaters that are left in the space located in the starting line area between 8:30h and 9:20h. Bags will be taken to Puente la Reina. Only one bag per skater. The bag should be well indentificated with the number as shown: 1) Cut the right part of the number and place it in your bag. 2) After that give it in the bags transport space located in the starting line area. 3) You can pick up your bag in Plaza del Ayuntamiento of Puente la Reina, showing your number.

11 P2P S ROUTE NOTE: the areas indicated with a red flag are hard difficulty areas, so skaters could go along the left lane, so they can skate curves in a better way.

12 ALTIMETRY DATA, PROVISIONING AND OUTCONTROL TIMES Outcontrol times are indicated with an asterisk. (You can see them at next page table) Skaters that exceed those times have the obligation to get into the sweeper bus. If they deny to get into the sweeper bus, they will be disqualified and will lost the marathon insurance.

13 ALTIMETRY DATA, PROVISIONING AND OUTCONTROL TIMES There are 2 hours and 30 minutes to finish the marathon, that involves a 16,8 km/h median speed. Those are the outcontrol times assuming the starting shot takes part punctually at 10:00 am. 14 PLASTIC BOTTLES THROW AWAY Trying to increase the number of plastic bottles that are recycled, metres after every provisioning point, skaters can throw the bottles away, so members of the organization can pick them up. Let s practice such an ecologic sport as skating in a responsible way.

16 BASIC REGULATION 2017 To participate in the P2P Pamplona Puente Skate Marathon, skaters must turn 15 in the year of the edition they wish to participate in. The categories are Junior (15 to 19 years), Senior (20 to 35 years), U40 (36 to 39 years), U50 (40 to 49 years), U60 (50 to 59 years) and O60 ( 60 onwards). BASIC REGULATION P2P2017 Skaters under 18 run with permission from their guardians, the latter being responsible of any circumstances that may occur to their wards. All skaters, by registering, accept the conditions of the regulations imposed by the organization. The registration fee includes accident insurance and civil liability.

17 BASIC REGULATION 2017 All skaters should show their identity card when picking up their number. Skaters that had not picked up their number before the starting shot are not allowed to participate in the marathon. Allowed skates: quads (or traditional) type and inline. Within the inline skate configurations of 3, 4 or 5 wheels will be allowed. The maximum accepted wheel diameter will be 125mm. All skaters must be in the starting line fully equipped and with skating material in perfect condition. The use of integral helmet is compulsory while in the route of the race. Sponsorized skaters are allowed to participate with the sponsors clothing. The number must be clearly visible on the external side of the left leg. All participants must attend to the pieces of advice and indications of the stuff. It is allowed to use the slipstream between skaters provided there is no contact between them. It is prohibited to get help by any means (grab / crawl / being pushed by another skater, motorbike, bicycle, car ). Skaters having this kind of behavior may be disqualified and removed from the marathon.

18 BASIC REGULATION 2017 All skaters should obey the rout and timetable seted by the organization. The organization sets the outcontrol times for those skaters that do no have the minimun speed required. Those outcontrol times will be previously advertised. The judge in the sweeper bus is allowed to obly to get into the bus at those skaters who rise the outcontrol time. Skaters that pull out of the race have the obligation to get into the sweeper bus to have the opportinuty to take advantage of the prizes and presents the organization gives to the participants. The organization does not take responsibility of those skaters that deny to get into the sweeper bus. If a skater denys to get into the sweeper bus will not be under the marathon s insurance. Skaters that do not finish the race will be registered as «moved away form the race». At the awards ceremony, it will be mandatory the attendance of skaters who were entitled to it, wearing their official equipment. In other case they will not be allowed access to the podium to recive prizes. The organization is not responsible for any situations or damage caused by negligent or reckless behavior of skaters.

19 BASIC REGULATION 2017 The organization declines all responsibility in case of accident, both when travelling and while in competition. The organization requests all participants, not to throw paper, bottles or garbage to the ground. We kindly ask to use the bins along the route and in the finish area. The organization reserves the right to change the route, distance, awards, dates and times of the marathon if necessary. The organization does not ensure the refund of the registration fee in case of non-participation. The organization does not ensure the refund of the registration fee in the event in case the race is not celebrated for reasons beyond the organization. The organization reserves the right not to allow regristration to those skaters who may suppose a risk to other participants. All audiovisual material filmed during the race belongs to the organization. Participants authorize the free use of this material to the organization for the dissemination and promotion of the event. The audiovisual material of the organization may be used by judges to make appropriate decisions or possible claims.

21 BUS SERVICE Those who withdraw from the race or get in outcontrol time will be taken to the finish line area by bus. The bus to go back to Pamplona has a price, so you have ask for this service when doing the inscription. At 14:00h buses leave to Pamplona. You can get into the bus at the finishing line area. To get into the bus you need a ticket. This ticket will be given to you in the skater s bag. Buses will arrive to Plaza del Castillo of Pamplona (starting line area of the P2P) at 14:30h aproximately. Near Plaza del Castillo is a big offer of bars and restaurants. Information for companions: Companions that ask for it will be taken to Puente la Reina. They should get on the bus at 10:05h next to the Hotel Tres Reyes (C/ Taconera nº 1), 600m from the starting line area. The marathon will pass near the Hotel. Companions should show the go and retunr ticket that will be given with the skater s bag.

22 INTERES INFORMATION In case of raining, the P2P will take place. It is forbidden that companions make the race by car or motorcycle. We plead skaters that had good marks to be in disposition to answer some interviews done by the organization. At the awards ceremony, it will be mandatory the attendance of skaters who were entitled to it, wearing their official equipment, and be ready on time. At the end of the marathon there will be a raffle between all the skaters. In a blackboard near the picking up bags area you can find the numbers that had a prize. In case of serious accident, skaters will be taken to Clínica San Miguel, situated in Calle Beloso Alto number 32 of Pamplona, with number In case of vital accident, skaters will be taken to Urgencias del Complejo Hospitalario de Navarra, situated in Calle de Irunlarrea, number 3 from Pamplona, with number

24 P2P TXIKI: POPULAR RACE FOR LOWER CATEGORIES At Puente la Reina, near the finishing line area, (Paseo de los fueros) popular races are taking place. Numbers picking up: Friday 15th and Saturday 16th september, at Elite Sport Shop from 10h to 13:30h and from 17:00h to 20:00h*. Sunday, 17th september, from 9:30h to 10:00h at Paseo de los Fueros of Puente la Reina. Skaters from 4 to 9 years old: starting shot at 10:10h of a 800m race. Younger skaters could be companied by an adult. Skaters from 10 to 14 years old: starting shot at 10:20h, of a 3000m race. Free inscription, more information will be given soon There will not be a final classification. *It is possible that on afternoon of Saturday 16th, the numbers picking up will be moved to the event Pamplona en patines Iruñea Patinetan in the city centre.
