Some of us come because we skate, some because our children skate, some of us are social members, but all of us come because we love to watch you skate. Please continue coming to skate and watch and bring your friends. We need new members to continue the historic tradition of our skating club. Thank you to those that donated this year to the Annual Fund. We will be asking you again in the fall! These funds help in the upkeep of our historic building. Many thanks to Fran, Mary, Diane, Ryan, Bernard and Bob for making sure the club opened sparkling with new paint, windows washed and more. Come to a Saturday tea and love to watch us skate! Hope to see you at Great Skate October 20 th! Charlotte Martin, President NOTE FROM THE DIRECTOR OF SKATING Welcome back everyone! As you all start to come back to our beautiful Club I want you to be aware of some small changes to our ice schedule. Due to the amazing progress of our skaters we found it necessary to level some of our prime time sessions this year. **Tuesdays and Thursdays are the most significant changes, as those are historically our more crowded days. We have leveled the sessions to be: 4:15-5:00 pm Junior C (Basic Skills and Pre-Preliminary) and 5:00-6:15 pm Junior B (Preliminary through Juvenile) In the evening we leveled: 8:15 pm High Mixed (Passed Novice MIF, Adult Silver or higher) and 9:30-10:30 Adult Only Please know that we understand this may cause some schedule shuffling but trust we have what is best for EVERYONE in mind. We also understand that in some places skaters may have lost some time, and we made every effort to add time in another slot and believe the improved quality of the session will make up for any decrease in time.

3 This year we are really striving to increase our membership in the Basic Skills (Junior C) level so we gave them their own session on Tuesdays & Thursdays. Junior C skaters can look out for some really fun activities during your session with our Junior Supervisors Kristina Badalamenti and Sammi Wren. We continue to ask all skaters to obey the ice rules and make an effort to share the ice with each other. We want all our skaters to grow, have fun and be safe. I know that understanding the schedule can be difficult so please contact me with any questions or concerns. I am here to help! The Trial Membership runs for any 30 day period and the cost is $300 for a family, $100 for an individual. A portion of these costs may be applied to the full membership fees upon joining. From the Member Admissions Committee The members of the Member Admissions Committee are: building was powerwashed and repainted. The large back windows were powerwashed and we were able to remove quite a bit of mold; however, over the years air has snuck in between the panes of glass which is creating the cloudy look. The interior was painted as needed and all rooms were cleaned and ready to go for our skaters. The Zamboni and refrigeration equipment were all overhauled. The last week was spent reinstalling the ice surface and thankfully the weather cooperated for this venture. My thanks to Ryan, Bob, Bernard, Emily, Kristin and Caitlin for all their help is preparing the Club for reopening.
