2 ABU DHABI ADVANCED FIGURE SKATING CAMP Abu Dhabi Advanced Figure Skating Camp is an intensive, week-long camp intended for experienced figure skaters who want to take their skills to the next level in a professional and focused environment. On and off-ice classes led by experienced coaches will develop existing skills in jumping, spinning, dancing and choreography. Skaters interested in attending the Abu Dhabi Advanced Figure Skating Camp must have passed Freestyle 1. The camp will be run by the coaches of Zayed Sports City Ice Rink as well as guest coach Maria Loffler. Their experience as coaches and competitors ensure skaters leave the camp with a clear training plan for the future and a set of new and improved proficiencies. 4 ZAYED SPORTS CITY ICE RINK Zayed Sports City Ice Rink is proud to be the premier home of ice activities in the UAE and the host of the Abu Dhabi Intensive Figure Skating Camp. This venue, complete with an Olympic sized ice surface and seating gallery for 1,200, was recently refurbished to further deliver excellent experiences to every visitor. Home of the UAE Ice Hockey Federation, Abu Dhabi Ice Sports Club and Abu Dhabi Figure Skating Team, the rink has earned its reputation as being the place to skate.
