4 Physical characteristics I'm going to be taking about physical characteristics in Colorado. They have a lot lakes the Major Lake in Colorado is called Grand Lake, Blue Mesa Reservoir,John Martin. Also The highest point in Colorado is called Mt. Elbert; 14,433 feet (4,399m) above sea level.also the Colorado river is on Rep of the Major Rivers in the United States, is 1,450 miles (2,334 kilometers) long. It flows across 1,360 (2,189- kilometers) of the United States and 90 miles (145 kilometers) of Mexico. It rises in the Rocky Mountain of Colorado and Flowers Southwest into Utah. It is joined by the green river in the eastern of Utah and by the San Juan river in Southern Utah. Colorado then continues in the Southwest into Arizona after merging with the little Colorado River in the Northwest of Arizona, the River swings West through the Grand Canyons. The Virginia river of Nevada joins it's course beyond the Grand Canyon. The Colorado than turns South and forms the Arizona California border.
5 It then flows across the Mexico border to the gulf of California. Arizona's Bills Williams and Gila Rivers merge with the river North of Mexico border. The Colorado drains an area of about 250,000 square miles (650,000 square kilometers. Aspen Colorado lake and river Colorado River drought forces

The state bird of Colorado is named lark bunting. The state animal in Colorado is named Rocky Mountains Bighorn sheep. The official state flag of Colorado was adopted on June 5, It was designed by Andrew Carlisle Johnson in 1911.

The state flower of Colorado is named Rocky Mountains columbine ( white and lavender). Also the state dance of Colorado is the square dance. And the state soil is named stitz. And the state gemstone is named aquarium Lark bunting bird Blue spruce
8 State history In this paragraph I'm going to be taking about how the Colorado flag. The official state flag of Colorado was adopted on June 5, 1911 it was designed by Andrew Carlisle Johnson in The white in the flag symbolizes clear blue skies, The red symbolizes the reddish soil, in the golden yellow residents the sum. Attached to the flag is a core of gold and silver, intertwined with gold and silver tassels.

10 Jobs and resources There are a lot of jobs that you can do for example.you can work with Scientific instruments. Also if that's not the right job for you, then you can work with Electrical equipment. That is a job that is dangerous job. You should pick printed and materials. But if you don't like the jobs there are a lot more jobs that you can do. Like you can be a farmer and you can milk cows. Also you can go to a farmer and you can ask him if he can get you a summer job. You can work in the mines like you can go down in the ground and there and take some of the coal out of the ground. That is only some of the things that you can do in Colorado.

12 Famous people There are a lot of people that I'm going to be talking about like m. Scoot carpenter and he was an astronaut in Colorado. Also Margaret Tobin (Molly) Brown she survived the Titanic and I think that, that is amazing because not a bunch of people survived that crash. George Catlin he was an Artist and author and he was pretty good at his job. Also there was a man named William Harrison (Jack) Dempsey and he has a great boxer and he never gave up on what he did. A man that made movies and his name was Darryl F. Zanuck some of you that read this might use to know him. Black kettle he was a a Cheyenne chief and he is still with us today
