2 APPLICATION TO COACH IN 2019 Mount Annan Currans Hill Junior Rugby League Football Club are currently calling for Coaching Applications for the 2019 Season. All applicants are required to complete the application form below and return to the club via by 5:00pm Friday 30 th November All applicants must hold, or be willing to obtain appropriate qualifications to Coach with Mount Annan Currans Hill Junior Rugby League Football Club (if successful), these qualifications include: Working with Children Check Modified Games Coach, International Game Coach/Club Coach Accreditation (depending on the age group) Leaguesafe If you wish to fill in as Leaguesafe Any other qualifications deemed necessary by the club Should you wish to obtain your Working With Children Check prior to submitting your application, please visit the link below which will take you directly to the appropriate website. Once you have completed the online application you will need to print a copy of your application number and take to SERVICES NSW. Please be advised that the WWCC may take up to four weeks to be processed in full. You can attach a copy of your application number to your coaching application. 4 COACHES AGREEMENT The Coach is responsible for the development of player s skills and enjoyment of Rugby League, as well as promoting positive attitudes towards Mt Annan Currans Hill JRLFC. On acceptance of the role as Coach I agree to: Mt Annan JRLFC will initially appoint one caretaker coach to an age group and not a division, until such time that gradings have been completed. I understand that if I am appointed initially as a caretaker coach for the age group in which my child is playing, that the MACH Knights Coaching Co-ordinator and Committee will have the final decision on selections. I understand that I will be expected to operate under any Club By-Laws and policies throughout the 2019 season including the MACH Knights JRLFC Player Selection, MACH Knights JRLFC Social Media and the MACH Knights JRLFC Back Up and Playing Up Policies which are available on the Club website (subject to review). I also understand that I will be required to act in accordance with the Group 6 Code of Conduct (available on Group 6 Junior website) CRL Rules and Regulations and ARL Safe Play Code (available on the ARL Development website) in addition to other relevant regulations. Ensure that all Team Officials (including Coaches, Team Managers, League Safe and Sports Trainers) are registered and approved by MACH Knights JRLFC (this is an annual process), I will also ensure that all team officials hold appropriate qualifications as stipulated by Group 6 and the CRL including a Working with Children Check, prior to commencing any official role with the club Become a financial member for the 2019 Season Abide by the rules of the club, group, and governing bodies at all times and encourage players and team support officials to abide by the rules. Encourage players and team support officials to support and respect the ARL National Code of Conduct and Safe Code of Play. Encourage players to become involved in rugby league as a safe, healthy and enjoyable activity. To take full responsibility for all property belonging to the club (including jerseys, water bottles and training equipment) that is allocated to you at the start of the season and ensure everything is returned at the end of the season. Encourage players to develop a proper attitude to competitiveness. Foster club spirit amongst all players and parents and encourage them to participate in club operations and functions. Liaise with the club s Coaching Coordinator/s as and when required. Ask for assistance if needed. The Committee and the Coaching Coordinators are here to help you. Attend coaching development clinics as organised by the Club. Attend the Coach/Team Official Meeting at the start of the season. Attend or have at least one member of your staff attend all Club General Meetings. Attend Coaches and Managers meetings as and when required. I understand that if I am appointed as a Coach for the Age Group in which my child is playing, that MACH Knights JRLFC Coaching Coordinators/Selectors and the MACH Knights JRLFC Committee will have the final decision on selections.

5 COACHES AGREEMENT Continued I understand that all Team Officials and Coaching Staff must be approved by the MACH Knights JRLFC Committee. I understand that I am not permitted to train at any venue other than those approved by the MACH Knights JRLFC for Insurance purposes. I understand that I am responsible to pay any fines or penalties imposed by Group 6 that I may incur. I understand that failure to comply with this agreement will affect future coaching applications This agreement is to ensure consistency with the player s development and to allow opportunity for involvement and feedback to enhance our club going forward.
