2 REMINDERS: All participants must be SIGNED IN and SIGNED OUT by whomever is dropping the participants) off at the event. Under no circumstances are participants to be dropped off at a van stop and left without a responsible person who will be able to see them safely board the McARP vehicle. McARP staff will have the Recreation/McARP cell phone (973) with them for the duration of all scheduled activities Please only call in case of an emergency. In certain locations, there are times that the cell phone will not function due to limited cell tower coverage. Additionally, Arc/Morris staff are not permitted to use cell phones while driving agency vehicles and it may not be possible for the staff to respond if they are driving until they can pull the vehicle safely to a stop. Dear Participant, Now that the Winter is over and we are finally seeing the warmer weather, let s get going with more fun activities. SO Summer Games will be happening the weekend of June 12th to June 14th and we wish good luck to all our participants in Aquatics, Bocce, Softball and Track and Field! We will also be celebrating our Bowlers and their coaches at the annual Bowling Banquet on Friday, June 19th at the Zeris Inn. We will be going to the Memorial Day Parade in Dover as well as returning to the Colorado Café for more fun line dancing. Shoppers will enjoy visiting the Meadowlands Flea Market and we are going to catch up on the latest in science during our visit to the Liberty Science Center. For all your baseball fans, we will be going to a NJ Jackals Baseball Game. For those of you who love to dance we will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo on May 8th. We will welcome summer with a visit to the Point Pleasant Boardwalk in June. Please remember, if your van stop is Eyland Avenue, you cannot attend BINGO, VIDEO NIGHT, or CRAFTS at HATC. We will NOT be providing van transportation from Eyland Ave for these HATC activities; these three (3) activities are offered at the Krauklis Center in Flanders and to be fair :-) If your van stop is MCM, you cannot attend BINGO, VIDEO NIGHT, or CRAFTS at the Krauklis Center. We will NOT be providing van transportation from MCM for these Krauklis Center activities; these three (3) activities are offered at the HATC in Whippany. If your van stop is Randolph, you are eligible to attend BINGO, VIDEO NIGHT, or CRAFTS at either location (HATC or the Krauklis Center), but please choose only one location per month! Also, you cannot register for any activities in this calendar if you still owe money to McARP. If you are not registered with McARP, please contact the Intake Department at (973) x326 PLEASE ADHERE TO THE DEADLINE!!! The Registration deadline for May and June 2015 is April 17, 2015 In the event that the van is running late, we will attempt to call you at the number on file with the office or you may call the McARP cell phone number (973) Please be sure we have your most current contact number and address (preferably cell phone number).
