1 WALLAROO AND ENVIRONS VENUES FOR 2015 NATIONAL CARNIVAL AND ANGLING CHAMPIONSHIPS Map of AAA 2015 National Angling Championships Area Venue. Note it is 2 hours drive from Adelaide.

4 The north side of Port Broughton Marina If conditions are right, with moisture in the base of the weed banks, a type of sand worm can be found under rotting seaweed all year round. It is an excellent bait particularly for whiting. Marina at Fisherman s Bay two ramps

7 Driving back towards Wallaroo from Tickera some fishing areas have access down to rocks Point Riley Looking north from Estuary Boundary (excluded from Estuary) but Rock and Beach continue around this point

11 Going south of Wallaroo: Moonta Bay Walk out along Jetty to get to deep water: No fishing North Side (right) of Jetty due to very soft sand and vehicle hazard. Moonta Bay Fishing South Side of Jetty extensive sand flats

12 Port Hughes Jetty. Very deep water at end good for snapper and mulloway Port Hughes at low tide channel into Marina is fairly shallow

13 Port Hughes Excellent launch ramps at Marina adjacent to jetty with good parking There is some beach access to fishing spots

18 North side of groyne at Balgowan is the southern boundary of Rock and Beach Cliffs and beaches to the north of Balgowan typical of the area

19 Looking over the top of the cliffs (10 m down to beach) at Balgowan. Mulloway are taken here at night. The Pines / Bamboos north of Balgowan A good spot for fishing with two rods one light for smaller species one heavier outfit for bigger fare.
