2 Company History New Century Displays, Inc. and its sister companies have produced wood products for over 40 years under the principle ownership of Tom Howell who acts as president of all companies which operate in our 170,000 square foot plant just outside of Kansas City, consuming over 6 million board feet of lumber per year. Howell Mouldings, L.C. began as a custom frame shop in In those years there were few programs available so we made our own mouldings, finished, carved and gold leafed our frames. In 1966 we introduced the Do-It- Yourself (D.I.Y) frame concept to the hardware industry and a year later we brought our open frame to the craft market. Today we are capable of producing 22,000 frames per shift. United Manufacturing, Inc. produces wooden crates for local businesses, serving both commercial and military orders. Also for the past 15 years, has produced wiring harnesses for military electric generators. United has been in business for over 100 years, 30 years under current ownership. New Century Displays, Inc. was founded in late 1999 to market a unique golf display, which has one patent and others pending. Additional display cases for baseball, softball, soccer, football, volleyball, hockey and basketball have been added to the product mix. Star Innovations, L.C., was purchased in late 2001 and produces and sells heat transfer equipment that makes photo sports balls. This patented process is sold under the trademarked name BallStars. Trademarks used in the above companies include Little Gallery, Classic Frames, Pot Wraps, Sur-Lock Pallets, Wild About Racing and Ball- Stars. The above companies also hold five U.S. Patents with several pending.

16 General Information Customer Qualifications You must have a business and a re-sale tax number. Open Account First order must be accompanied with payment by Check, Money Order or by Credit Card. If terms for credit are desired, request Credit Application & Tax Status forms by calling our 800 number. Good Standing To maintain an open account, you must pay within terms. Terms on all accounts are 1% 10 Net 30 Days. If your account goes past 60 days, it will be placed for collection and collection fees will be incurred. If a check is returned to us for non-sufficient funds, your account will be placed on Cashiers Check/Credit Card status and a returned check charge of $25.00 will be applied. Any account that has been inactive for 1 year will be removed from our system. Once your account is removed and you wish to reorder, you will be treated as a new account. The credit application and tax status form must be returned with a check or money order for the amount of your order before we can re-open your account. Please call us for special assistance. Discounts You may deduct 1% off your invoice if it is paid ahead or within 10 days. Discounts are subject to being current and paid within terms. Payments are net 30 days for all accounts not taking advantage of the discount. Credit Cards For your convenience we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Please have your credit card number available when calling to pay an invoice or place an order. When paying an invoice after 10 days from invoice date there will be 2% added to your total. Charge On Delivery We will not process C.O.D.s. Minimum Orders There is a $5.00 service charge on orders less than $ Once we have processed your order, we cannot add-on to it. Truck Shipments All orders are shipped Freight Collect with a 5% Freight Allowance on all orders that exceed $ Our goal is to ship your order the most efficient and economical way therefore, if your order is to ship by truck we ask that you specify your preferred carrier. Unless you request otherwise, we will ship your order best way. Once we have established a carrier for you, we will use the same one unless you request another when ordering. Small Shipments If your order is small enough we will ship it UPS unless it exceeds these specifications: A package is considered oversized when it measures 84 united inches. If a package is oversized, or is shipped Next Day or 2nd Day, its weight will be rated by the size or its actual weight, whichever is greater. UPS will not ship packages over 130 united inches, over 150 lbs. or over 108 inches in length. We do not ship Parcel Post or to APO/FPO addresses. Shipping Damages Occasionally an order can be damaged in shipment. If you receive a damaged order save the merchandise and the original packaging for inspection and for filing a claim. If you receive a damaged truck shipment, please note it on the freight bill and request an inspection by the carrier. We are not responsible for damage done by carriers. If you receive a damaged UPS shipment, have the driver inspect the damaged package and note the damages on the paperwork, then call us and we will arrange for a package pick-up. Returns We want you to be completely satisfied with the merchandise you have ordered. We also realize that sometimes things go wrong. If for any reason there is a problem with your order, we ask that you adhere to the following: 1. Please call us first before returning merchandise so that we know what the problem is and can determine the appropriate course of action. 2. If it is necessary for you to return merchandise to us, you must re-pack it as it was shipped to you (or in an equivalent manner) to insure that we receive them in good condition. If merchandise is returned to us for any reason other than defects, there will be a 15% restocking charge. (We DO NOT credit or refund shipping charges and customer must pay the return shipping charge.) Claims for credit must be made within 30 days of shipment - Credits must be used within 90 days of date issued. (Checks will NOT be issued on unused credits.) Credit will not be given for any merchandise that you received in good condition, but has been damaged in transit back to us or that has been obviously used (i.e., additional staples, nails, tags or other permanent marks). Handling Charges Handling charges of $5.00 per order will apply on all orders totaling less than $ Embroidery Requirements In order for New Century Displays to produce your logo, we will need what is called a digitized Stitch File or a Disk. These are the digitized stitch patterns of your logo. This file tells our computerized embroidery machines all the information needed to Sew-out your logo. If a stitch file disk is furnished there will be no digitizing charge. If a stitch file disk is not available there is a one-time charge to make a digitized disc per logo. Charges are 4 x 4 Logo - $ & 4 x 9 Logo - $ There are two ways you can supply us with that information: 1. If you already have your logo Digitized, make sure the file is in one of the following formats: Tajima (preferred), Melco Expanded, DOS Condensed, Happy, Brothers, Burudon, FMC, ZSK & Toyota. 2. If you do not have your logo already digitized, send us clean, undamaged camera-ready color artwork and New Century Displays will digitize your logo/design for the above mention prices. Art must be clean and require no touch-up. Because we have to scan your color artwork in at high resolution to be able to digitize; Yellow Page, newspaper ads, business cards, stationery, laser printed, faxed or photo copied artwork are not acceptable as camera ready art. Specific thread colors are also needed and are not usually provided with stitch files, please define thread colors using PMS numbers or send us a physical color sample. Example, a shirt or hat with a full color logo or a color print out on paper. Please note that it may be necessary to reduce or enlarge the size of the logo design to properly fit in the stitch area. Plus or minus 10% is the maximum we can adjust a stitch file.
