20 SWEETWATER GOLF ACADEMY MARCH PROGRAMS The Golf Academy at Sweetwater is determined to provide a wide variety of programming that is designed to benefit the golfer of any age, gender, or skill level. We ask that if you wish to participate in any of the scheduled clinics, please contact the academy via at academy@sweetwatercc.com or call (281) Ladies Get Golf Ready Junior Girls Golf Team (Ages 9-14) Every Wednesday (3/6, 3/13, 3/20, 3/27) Practice/Play Days: Saturdays (3/2, 3/9, 3/16, 3/23) 10:00-11:00 AM 3:30-5:00 PM $15 Academy Member $20 Club Member $25 Guest of a Member per week PLEASE CONTACT LEAD INSTUCTOR SHAUN MCEWEN T O SIGN-UP Get Golf Ready is designed to teach everything you ll need to play golf in just a few lessons. Each session will focus on the various golf skills you will use while playing. In addition to learning the basics, you will be guided onto the golf course to put your skills into action in a casual, friendly setting. The five lesson series will cover the following: preshot routine, putting, chipping, pitching, irons, fairway metals, driver, caring for the course, shortcuts to save time while you play, rules, and scoring. The goal of the program is to add to the excitement about the game of golf in a team setting, provide them with a structured practice, and allow them enhance golf course playing abilities in a relaxing format on the golf course.
