5 3 The NINE CORE VALUES OF THE First Tee: Responsibility Sportsmanship Perseverance Confidence Judgment Honesty Respect Courtesy Integrity The First Tee of Three Rivers Park District is the umbrella under which many different programs are supported, including The First Tee Lesson Leagues, Hooked on Golf, The LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Club, Baker Golf and Sports Camp, numerous junior leagues and junior lesson programs. Each of our four golf facilities hosts a program of The First Tee of Three Rivers Park District. The overall goal of these programs is to grow the game of golf by providing affordable and accessible opportunities for youth.

10 8 Hooked On Golf Par Level Lessons Four 3-hour lessons $159 Five 3-hour lessons $169 Hooked On Golf is a program of the First Tee of Three Rivers Park District. The goal is to encourage kids to have fun playing golf. As part of this comprehensive program, each participant is given a new starter set of golf clubs, t-shirt, and hat. Know your child s height, shirt size, and whether right or left-handed BEFORE registration. Lessons are one-week sessions. In addition to golf fundamentals, other activities may include recreation programs, dodge ball and a naturalist presentation. One of the days, participants will play a few holes on the course. Points of emphasis: Basic fundamentals of golf and an introduction of Par Level life skills and certification. Lessons also include a special 30-minute presentation each day covering golf etiquette, golf course maintenance, and the environment. 11 9 All girls ages 7-17 in leagues or lessons can sign up for the LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Program. Program sites are Eagle Lake Youth Golf Center, Glen Lake Golf & Practice Center, and Cleary Lake Golf Course. Girls must fill out the LPGA Girls Golf application. Once the application has been received, participants can sign up for the special events held throughout the summer, including a Parent/Daughter tournament, Girls Scramble, Putting Course/Pizza Party at Eagle Lake and other First Tee special events. Applications will be sent out after lesson registration.

Instruction includes putting, chipping, pitching and full swing fundamentals. Junior golfers will learn golf terms, basic USGA rules, golf tips and etiquette. Eagle Lake s Birdie Course is perfect for young golfers and skill development. Instruction focuses on etiquette, putting, chipping, pitching, full swing, USGA rules, course management, and sportsmanship within the context of The First Tee guidelines. The First Tee life skills for the Birdie and Eagle levels will be covered. Kids will have the chance to become certified in The First Tee program. For play days, kids can sign up and play with friends or get paired with others in the league. Play days have a shotgun start with all participants starting at the same time on different holes. 34 32 Adult Player Series Three 11/2-hour lessons, plus two 1/2-hour private follow-up lessons $199 The Adult Player Series will help you understand your strengths and weaknesses and allow you to work on the areas of your game that need the most work. The first two lessons will cover the full swing and short game. The third lesson will be a playing lesson on the Evergreen Course. Each participant will also receive two, 1/2-hour private follow-up lessons that can be scheduled any time after the playing lesson. 36 34 adult lesson leagues Adult Coed LeSSON LEAGUES 8 sessions $129, includes greens fees Join our lesson league and be ready for a friendly and fun environment where new golfers can transition their skills to the golf course. The first night will consist of an introduction to the league, basic rules, and etiquette. Basic golf skills will be covered in the first and second sessions. In session three, instructors will be on the course offering playing tips. In sessions four through eight, participants will play the Evergreen golf course on their own. For scheduling convenience, players tee times will be the same each week, although you can switch with other players if done in advance.
