If not or if they don t perform we The player will ask the question of the coach. Player Q. How do I do this or that better? oach. That is your opportunity to coach. How and what you coach is up to you we all have our own styles and ways. s coaches I feel that we need to allow and encourage players to do well as they can in their - own best way. 8 PTITIV HIN Q. How do we as coaches create learning and coaching situations?. reate games to challenge players to improve their skills. To be the best player that they can be. If they can t succeed at a game and win. They might watch other players and copy them. They might ask you how to do it better. If you are a good demonstrator U IN. If you are good at talking/speaking communicational skills U IN. If you can paint a picture in their mind U IN. If you have a good video library U IN. If you are a good coach you will find a way to improve your players.
9 PTITIV HIN Players have many skills. We need to challenge them during play and practice to see if they can perform when asked. I try to make games, challenges and skills tests for each department of the game. Putting, chipping, bunker play, pitching, distance and accuracy control, tee shot length and accuracy, pre and post shot routines, body language act - as if orkshire ules apply.
10 PTITIV HIN Weekly practice and play schedules. XP oung Players simple 1/3 swing, 1/3 short game, 1/3 routines. 1/4 swing, 1/4 short game, 1/4 routines, 1/4 putting. 1/5 swing, 1/5 short game, 1/5 routines, 1/5 putting. 1/5 distance control. tc etc until we work out more detailed schedules.

12 Hole ut Peg oney Putting omp PTITIV HIN PUTTIN ine a row of pegs 1ft apart i.e.. 1ft, 2ft, 3ft, 4ft etc up to 30ft. Place balls at each peg. Try to hole a ball from each peg (footage) stay at the peg (footage) until you hole a putt. Put two pegs 3ft apart with 1 penny coins on top. 4ft apart with 2 pence coins on top, 5ft apart with 5 pence coins on top, 6ft apart with 10 pence coins on top, 7ft apart with 20 pence coins on top, 8ft apart with 50 pence coins on top, 9ft apart with 1 coins on top and 10ft apart with 2 coins on top. Putt from one peg to the other collect the money as you knock it off the pegs. How much did you win _??? coring 6 Balls 18 inches apart Hole each putt = 2 points 6 Balls one yard apart Between the hole & 18 inches past = 1 point 6 Balls two yards apart Between 18 & 36 inches past = 0 points 6 Balls three yards apart..... eave the putt short = minus 1 point Hit the putt more than 36 inches past = minus 1 point

Proceed to hit the balls with each of the 6 clubs. coring: 1 point per ball finishing within 1 wedge length of the hole i.e. 3ft. Hole it 3 points. s above 6 30 yards. coring: 1 point per ball finishing within 3 wedge lengths of the hole (9ft). 2 points per ball finishing within 2 wedge lengths of the hole (6ft). 3 points per ball finishing within 1 wedge length of the hole (3ft). Proceed to hit the balls with each of the 3 clubs. coring: 1 point per ball finishing within 1 wedge length of the hole i.e. 3ft. Hole it 2 points. s above 3 20 yards. coring: 1 point per ball finishing within 2 wedge lengths of the hole (6ft). 2 points per ball finishing within 1 wedge length of the hole (3ft). 17 PTITIV HIN ITN NT TT Place a flag at 140yds. Then put a rope, tape or spray a circle 14yds in diameter. Hit 10 shots record how many finish inside the circle. 14 yards Place a flag at 180yds. Then put a rope, tape or spray a circle 18yds in diameter. Hit 10 shots record how many finish inside the circle. 18 yards bviously this drill can be played at a variety of distances. Total out of 10 Total out of 10 Note: r as with pitching distance control put a 40ft measure around the flag and play best, worst and average.

28 PTITIV HIN Hi raham, how's things? JUT PIN THUH an I first say thank you for all you have taught me and all the information you have given me over the last three years, and now hopefully I can use it to improve my game over here in merica, and become the best player I possibly can be. The Bermuda rough is pissing me off a bit at the moment though! ha-ha I finished 29 th in the tournament last week, but had a few problems on the greens which were 13 on the stimp, and had seven 3-putts over the three rounds. ou really have to know where to putt the ball with your approach shots to even have a chance at birdie. I ve learnt quite a lot in the few weeks I ve been here though. The weather is perfect in an iego, its been sunny every day do far!!! The birds are unbelievable as well haha peak to you soon raham, and thanks again get those orkshire boys sorted out over the winter! egards, ale mith

The last day was hard because it was so windy but my short game was awesome all week. I was 16/20 and chipped in 3 times. peak to you soon anny (aniel Willett)
