1 DESARU COAST FACTSHEET Desaru Coast is a premium integrated destination resort and one of Malaysia s most anticipated new tourism developments creating a unique blend of globally renowned hotels and resorts, a conference centre, a 27-hole and 18-hole golf course, a themed water park and a retail village. Desaru Coast is being developed by a subsidiary of Themed Attractions Resorts & Hotels Sdn Bhd and opening in stages from September 2016, starting with The Els Club Desaru Coast Ocean Course followed by the remaining components through to Desaru Coast project will consist of the following components: Hotels and Resorts The Westin Desaru Coast Resort: Located in the hub of Desaru Coast, the 275-room key 5-star resort will be operated by Marriott International. The resort also features an adjoining Conference Centre with upscale full-service facilities. Aman Resort & Villas: Aman Resorts and Villas, operated by renowned operator Amanresorts, is an exclusive 6-star luxury resort with 46 units of club suites and 48 units of residential villas with a view of the South China Sea. Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas: The resort under the international brand of Anantara Hotels and Resorts, is a 123 keys luxury family oriented resort with direct access to the beach and within close proximity to the Desaru Coast Riverside and the world class golf course, The Els Club Desaru Coast Ocean Course. Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast: Conveniently located adjacent to Desaru Coast Adventure Water Park, the 365-room key hotel promises unique Hard Rock Rock Star treatment for both holiday makers and business travelers alike.

2 Golfing- The Els Club Desaru Coast Set in the heart of Desaru Coast, The Els Club Desaru Coast features 45-holes of golf in total, with two distinct clubs; Ocean Course, a 27-hole golf course designed by Ernie Els and Valley Course, an 18-hole golf course designed in collaboration with Els long standing friend and major champion, Vijay Singh. Managed by world-renowned management organisation, Troon Golf, the experience, service and condition will be of the highest order and will bring a new standard to golf in Southeast Asia, giving members and guests the assurance their experience will be first-class each and every time they play. The Ocean Course The Ocean Course is a 27-hole golf course designed by 4-time Major Champion, Ernie Els. It is the second chapter under The Els Club Malaysia umbrella and the first golf course opened in Desaru Coast. The Three Nines are the Ridge, Coast and Lakes. Golfers can play a variety of loops: Lakes & Coast 7,335 yards, par 72 Lakes & Ridge 7,337 yards, par 73 Ridge & Coast 7,362 yards, par 73 Grass types: Bermuda Tifeagle greens and Bermuda 419 fairways. Course Facilities: o Clubhouse: A 45,000-sqft contemporary clubhouse with state-of-the-art golf shop, two casual dining restaurants, luxury locker room facilities, private function rooms, viewing balconies & terrace o 261:A relaxed terrace café where golfers can enjoy the atmosphere and view o Golf Shop: Offers the latest brands and high quality merchandise as well as top of the range Titleist rental sets o Locker Rooms: Spacious and fully air-conditioned locker rooms for ladies and gentlemen o Golf Buggies: A fleet of 88 Precedent, top of the range buggies are available o Caddies: Available for hire on request Dress code: Golf shoes with soft spikes are compulsory on the golf course. Opened in September 2016 The Valley Course The Valley Course is an 18-hole golf course designed by major champion, Vijay Singh and jointly developed with Ernie Els Design. The course traverses the valleys and streams of Desaru, with significant elevation changes providing the most eye-catching vistas.

3 It is the third chapter under The Els Club Malaysia umbrella and the second golf course opened in Desaru Coast. The 18-hole championship golf course covers approximately 41 hectares with 187 bunkers. Accessible from both the Ocean Course and the Valley Course, The Els Performance Golf Academy is Ernie s latest effort in sharing his success story across the globe; giving juniors and adults an opportunity to learn the game the way it should be played, adopting an individualized approach using the most up-to-date technology, diagnostic and teaching strategies. The Academy features; o 330 yard practice tee o Undercover hitting areas o State-of-the-art swing analysis studio o Short Game arena with 2 greens o 1 teaching professionals Opened in September 2016.

4 Academy Course The EPGA Par 3 Academy Course is great fun for the whole family. Located adjacent to The Els Performance Golf Academy, the holes range in distance from 65 yards up to 169 yards. With 2 sets of tees aptly named the Big Easy and Little Easy tees, advanced players get to hone in on their approach play while those new to the game boost their confidence from the shorter Little Easy tees. Its unique design allows the course to be played in many different directions, which is great for corporate events and team-building programs. The course measures 1064 yards and is par 27. Opened in September Entertainment, Retail and Dining Desaru Coast Riverside: A 23-acre waterfront landscaped retail and lifestyle village located in the heart of Desaru Coast, offering exciting retail, restaurants, cafes and entertainment outlets as the central hub of Desaru Coast. It integrates the entrances of the Desaru Coast Adventure Waterpark, The Westin Desaru Coast Resort and Desaru Coast Conference Centre. Desaru Coast Adventure Waterpark: Desaru Coast Adventure Waterpark is one of the world s biggest waterparks.
