8 2017 Program Details Men s & Women s Country Week Teams Matches (Mon 2- Wed 4 Oct) - Concerns from host clubs regarding access - Meets GV s desire to align men s & women's events - Change of dates to Spring- hopefully better weather - Three courses utilised to best capacity Course A (Div 1 Women & Men s Shield) Course B (Div 2 Women & Men s Plate) Course C (Div 3 Women & Men s Bowl)

14 Other events Senior Events - 21 women senior events in 2017 (in conjunction with Men s Doug Bachli events) - Over 170 women seniors have played at least one event so far in Golf Victoria aims to increase participation for those aged Victorian Senior Amateur Championship: Bairnsdale & Lakes Entrance (Oct 2017)- in conjunction with Men s Championships

15 A celebration of Women in Golf To recognise 50 years of developing junior girl golfers, the Victorian golf community will be hosting a celebration of girls & women in golf. All women & girls from golf in Victoria, past, present & future should attend Enjoy a night out with friends and you might meet some new ones This is your opportunity to be part of the future of female participation in golf. 17 Other GV services Regional Development Officers (RDO s) - Work closely with local golf facilities and District Associations in the two main areas of club development and game development. - RDOs assist with business and strategic planning, membership management, funding opportunities, volunteer strategies, rules assistance and education for community instructors as well as supporting the implementation of National and State programs.
