2 SHOWS AND EVENTS It s that time of the year again. The moment everyone has been waiting for.. The All Nations Cup Aachen The past years some changes were made to the show, making it more interactive and alive with interviews, horse & trainer of the year awards, the vote and win and of course the auction on Saturday evening. This time the show started on Thursday in the afternoon with the geldings. The first class of geldings was won by the flashy Alandro (EKS Alihandro x Adeeba), bred and owned by KK Arabians from the UK. With a total score of points he was too strong for Magic Mushrm (SMA Magic One x Magnolia Apal), bred by Al Subaie Arabians and owned by Cameg Arbaians from the UK, who ended 2nd with points. The second class of geldings was won with points by the typey, big moving Erogant (WH Justice x Raville P) bred and owned by Monica van Duijvenbode from The Netherlands. Later in the championships he took the Gold medal and a great amount of prize money as well. 2nd in the class with points and later Silver medal champion was AJA Alisandro (EKS Alihandro x AJA Caterina) bred by Aja Arabians and owned by Gravelbank Farm from the UK. 3rd with points and Bronze medal winner was Eromanov T (Marhaabah x Rigona) bred by the Schutrups and Duijvenbode family and owned by Emmie Graafland from Belgium. The show continued with two strong classes of yearling colts, all scoring very close. Winner of the first group with points was Duke Santonio ME (Santorini x Amaliaa) bred and owned by the Cascoe family from the UK. Second with points was Poseidon KA (Equiborn x Primera Marc) bred and owned by Knocke Arabians from Belgium. The second group of yearling colts had the spectacular Admiraal (Emerald J x Haniyyah) in the lead. This fantastic moving colt was bred by Al Muawd Stud and is owned by Ajman Stud from the UAE and he took the Gold medal in the final championships unanimously! Second in the class with points was D Bareq (FA El Rasheem x Royal Emira) bred and owned by Dubai Arabian Horse stud from the UAE. 3rd in the class with points was Maher al Sayed (Alexxanderr x Mera Alsayed) bred and owned by Alsayed Stud from Saudi Arabia. In the final championships it was Maher al Sayed who was more convincing and took the Silver medal, leaving the bronze for Bareq. Maher also received the honor of The Arabian Horse World: Horse of the year 2018 award! The show continued with the colts aged two years old. The battle for the first place was between two brothers. Both bred and owned by Dubai Arabian Horse Stud from the UAE. Winner with point was D Kaheel (FA El Rasheem x D Muwadah), leaving the second place with 0.05 point less to D Shahhal who is also by FA el Rasheem and out of former world champion D Shahla. In the championships, Shahhal took the Bronze medal. The three years old colt class was once again a victory for breeder and owner Dubai Arabian Horse Stud from the UAE. With a massive score of points, their colt D Seraj (FA El Rasheem x Ladi Veronica) won the class and later in the championships he took the silver medal. Second in this class with points was the ultra typy AJ Kafu (Shanghai EA x AJ Kahayla) bred and owned by Ajman Stud from the UAE. Later in the championships he took revenge by winning the Gold medal! The last class on Thursday was the one of the two years old fillies. A big number of fillies was entered and the classes were divided into A and B. This A class was won with points by the beautiful Lulu al Wawan (SMA Magic One x Alia EA) bred and owned by Al Wawan Stud from Kuwait. Second in this class with a total of points was Assilah al Shahania (SMA Magic One x Nadira of Rohan) bred and owned by Al Shahania Stud from Qatar. The show continued on the Friday afternoon with the yearling fillies, class A and B. Beautiful fillies, all eligible to win the class. It was a very close call with two fillies scoring the exact same score of points. Winning the class because of a higher score on type was AJ Samara (AJ Mardan x Sama AM) bred and owned by Ajman Stud from the UAE. Later in the championships she was named Gold medal champion. Second in the class and later Silver medal champion was SS La Bella (Calypso OS x BF Bella Contessa) bred by Ottoman Arabians and owned by Al Saqran Stud from Kuwait/UAE. At the 3rd place with points was AV Purple Rain (Shiraz de Lafon x AV Dancing Rain) bred by AV Arabians and owned by Bin Hamila Stud from the UAE. The second group of yearling fillies was won by MB Vivyanna (Lawrence al Gazal x Victorya FHP) bred by Michael Byatt and owned by the Arabian Soul Partners from the USA. She scored a massive score of 92 points. 2nd with points was D Shihanah (FA El Rasheem x D Shahla) bred and owned by Dubai Arabian Stud from the UAE. Later in the championships she was convincing and scored the bronze medal. D Shihanah is the full sister to D Shahhal who also took the bronze medal at this show. A great success for Dubai Arabian Horse Stud! The show continued with the 2 years old fillies. The gorgeous Seranza (Kanz Albidayer x Evening Serenade) was the crowd favorite and won the class with a total of TUTTO ARABI -

3 SHOWS AND EVENTS points. Last year this filly, who is bred by Michael Byatt and owned by Al Sheikh Stud from Israel, won Silver at the world championships. This time in Aachen she had to settle for Bronze in the final championships. At the second place in this class with points we would find the ultra typy Rshediah Alkhashab (EKS Alihandro x Symphony of Love) bred by Psynergy Enterprise Developments and owned by Al Khashab Stud from Kuwait. Later in the championships this filly took the silver medal. The last class of the Friday evening was the one of the three years old fillies. A large class of ten fillies with the beautiful Venice MI (Allegiance MI x Valentine MI), bred by Mulawa Stud and owned by Al Muawd stud from Saudi Arabia, taking the lead with a total of points. In the final championships, this filly took the Gold medal. Second in the class with points was Loulou al Nasser (RFI Farid x Rihab al Nasser), bred and owned by Al Nasser Stud from Qatar. On Saturday the show continued with the older mares. Always a delight to see. Many mares were entered in the class 4-6 years old mares so the class was split in A and B. Gorgeous Polish mare danced through the arena, battling for the first place. This went with points to the gorgeous Wildona (Shanghai EA x Wilda) bred and owned by Michalow Stud from Poland. The second place with points went to her stable mate Galerida (Shanghai EA x Galilea). Later in the championships, Galerida was named Bronze medal champion. The second class of 4-6 years old mares was won with points by the beautiful Alsa (Kahil al Shaqab x Alameda) bred and owned by Janow Podlaski stud from Poland, scoring almost full 20s on movement. Second with points was another big moving Kahil al Shaqab daughter named Pustynia Kahila out of Pustynna Malwa, bred by Michalow Stud from Poland. In the final championships, this mare took the silver medal. The 7-10 years old mares class was lead with points by the always charming Psyche Kreuza (Ekstern x Pallas Atena) bred and owned by Koni Chrcynno Palace stud from Poland. This moving machine scored 5 times 20 points for movement. 2nd with points was another beautiful big moving mare from Poland. This time bred and owned by Janow Podlaski stud. It was the gorgeous Primera (Eden C x Preria). The Straight Egyptian mare Alma GB (Nader al Jamal x Zarka) bred by Pertz and owned by Kaawar Arabians from Israel was 7th with a total score of points which gave her the award of Best Straight Egyptian bred horse of The last mare class, 11 years and older, was perhaps the best one. The timeless beauty Etnologia (Gazal al Shaqab x Etalanta) who probably also would have been the Gold medal winner if she didn t got lame in the championship, won her class with a massive total of points, earning the ANC highest points winning female award and scoring almost straight 20 s on type and movement. Etnologia was bred by Janow Podlaski Stud and owned by Halsdon Arabians from the UK. Second in this class with points was another beautiful mare named Rihab al Nasser (Marwan al Shaqab x Remal al Nasser) bred and owned by Al Nasser Stud from Qatar. Later in the championships this mare took the Gold medal! After the girls it was time for the boys! Unfortunately only two classes. The class with stallions aged 4-6 years old was won with points by the impressive Equiborn KA (QR Marc x Espadrilla) bred and owned by Knocke Arabians from Belgium. Equiborn also won the Best European private bred and owned horse of 2018 award. Second in the class with 92 points was ES Sarab (Marajj x Mahjesty) bred and owned by Emirates Stud from the UAE. Later in the championships, he won the bronze medal. The second group of stallions was the one aged 7 years and older. Always great to see the big boys shine! Big winner with a total of points and later Unanimous Gold medal champion was ES Harir (AJ Dinar x TF Magnums Magic) bred by Sheikh Abdulla bin Majid Alqassemi and owned by Al Saqran Stud from Kuwait. This ultra typey stallion scored a full 20 on type and head and also was awarded with the ANC highest points winning male. Second in this class with a total of points was the big moving boy Equator (QR Marc x Ekliptyka) bred by Michalow stud and owned by Al Sheikh Stud from Israel. Later in the championships this boy scored the silver medal! The Sunday was reserved for all the championships and special awards. The lifetime achievement award 2018 was for the legend Padrons Psyche (Padron x Kilika) who sadly passed away one year ago. This stallion needs no introduction and his legacy is found all over the world. The achievement was handed over to Knocke Arabians who was the last owner of this magnificent stallion. The lifetime Award 2018 was awarded to the Swiss Zoologist Ursula Rahm. Mrs Rahm is a honorary member of the ECAHO and was a DC at many shows as well as worked in the executive committee and commissions. The United Arab Emirates won both the All Nations Cup owner and Breeders cup 2018! What a fantastic result! The All Nations Cup Aachen was once again a spectacle and we cannot wait till next year! q - TUTTO ARABI 167
