2 D uring the Pentecost weekend, the yearly Orientalica International B-show was held at the famous Frankfurt racetrack. Unfortunately not as many competitors present as last year. Judges for this event were Willy Poth and Sylvia Garde-Ehlert from Germany, Helen Hennekes from The Netherlands and Janice Mcrea from the USA. The yearling filly class was well filled as always, with the showy MM Ayla (Ajman Moniscione x Artemis) leading the class with a total of 90 points. This filly is bred and owned by Moell & Moell Arabians from Sweden and claimed the Golden medal in the final junior championships. The silver medal winner came from the 3-years old fillies class where Special Alba (WH Justice x LC Special Treat) convincingly won her class with points. A great success for her breeder and owner, mrs Kerstin Dolfe from Sweden. The Bronze medal with the junior fillies went to ASH Mariella (Monther al Nasser x Alishya), who won her 2 years old fillies class with points. She was bred by Arabian Sun horses and is now proudly owned by Tabori BKV from Israel. The yearling colts were also present in a large number of entries. Clear winner of this class with in total points was MS Alis Pasha (Ali Moniscione x HS Kiova). This interesting colt already started off very well at the beginning of this showseason and now went on winning the Gold Medal for his breeder and owner the Malorny/Scherle partnership from Germany. This colt scored a total of points, leaving Al Amryan (Khidar x Al Amrya) behind at the second position with a total of points. Al Amryan, bred and owned by Sax Arabians from Germany, also claimed the Bronze medal in the final colt championships. The senior mares classes saw only a few participants. Gold winner of the senior female championships was the Janow Podlaski bred Biruta (Ekstern x Bajada) who won her 6-9 years old mares class with a total of 93 points! A great success for her owner; Halsdon Arabians from the UK. The silver medal went to SF Shaklina (Sanadik el Shaklan x ZT Sharuby) bred in Argentina by Kuphal de Mato and owned in co-ownership with J. Ullstrom who won her class of the mares aged 10 years and older with a total of points. Second placed in that class with a total of points was another Janow Podlaski bred; Andromeda (Eldon x Aneksja). She gave her owner Halsdon Arabians a double success by being named Bronze medal winner of the senior mares. The highest score of the day and the title Best in show was found with the senior stallions. Baha AA (Al Ayad x Baraaqa AA) rocked his class of 4-5 years old stallions with a total of points. This young stallion, bred by Ariela Arabians and owned by Avi Aharoni and Moshav Sitria from Israel, claimed the Gold medal with the senior stallions. Silver medal winner and class winner of the stallions aged 10 years and older with a total of points was A Sherif Pacha (AS Sinans Pacha x TZG Westona). Bred in Israel by Achrak Arabians and now proudly owned by Kumait Stud from The Netherlands. Bronze medal winner Bernhard (Rohara Bacara x Tosca) bred and owned by Annika Linhojd from Sweden. This big moving stallion won his 6-9 years old stallion class with a total of 91 points. The Next day was reserved for the Straight Egyptian horse show, known as the Egyptian Europe cup. Quite an interesting number of horses were entered. Judges for this show were Willy Poth and Sylvia Garde-Ehlert from Germany, 190 TUTTO ARABI -

4 Raouf Abbas from Egypt and Janice Mcrea from the USA. At this Egyptian show, the point of type were counting twice as much. The best junior female horses were found in the 3 years old mares class where the beautiful and extremely typy Desha Bahreyn (Laheeb al Nasser x Bint Katyah) scored almost full 20 s in type, claiming a total of 112,75 points. This US-bred filly also claimed the Gold medal for her owner of Hanaya Arabians from Switzerland and was also named Best Egyptian at the end of the show. second in this class and the Silver medal winner was F Tasnim (Al Lahab x F Tahani bint Shamaal) with a total of 108,75 points. F Tasnim was bred and owned by the Friedman Family from Germany. The Bronze medalist came from the yearling filly class. With 109,5 points, Kamlah al Baidaa (Jamil al Rayyan x Kareemah Saqr) convincingly won her class and also the bronze medal for her owner of Hanaya Arabians from Switzerland. The junior colt classes were a real battle. Already in the 3 years old colts class, the winner scored only 0.50 points more than the second placed. It was Kenz al Baidaa (Jamil al Rayyan x Kareemah Saqr) who took the lead. Bred in Egypt by Ahmed el Talawy and now owned by Hanaya Arabians from Switzerland, Kenz also managed to claim the Gold medal in the final championships. The Silver medal went to the beautiful PSE Al Rakhan (Royal Colours x PSE Mistrez) bred and owned by Prestige Arabians of Belgium. This colt earlier won his yearling colt class with a total of 109,5 points. In the 2 years old colt class it was ZT Farid (Anaza el Farid x ZT Fardiyyah) who won his class with 109,5 points. This Argentina Zichy Thyssen bred colt also claimed a bronze medal in the final junior colt championships, making a double success for his owner of Hanaya Arabians from Switzerland. The senior mares classes were a true eye candy. Beautiful, classic and with TYPE written all over them. Gold medal winner and winner of a big class of mares aged 6 years and older with an impressive total of 112 points was Bint Tahanie (Suhal al Nasser x Tahanie). A beautiful classic mare bred by Laohley and owned by Hanaya Arabians from Switzerland. A second place in this class with a total of 110 was for Pyramid Kahileh K (Al Lahab x Bint Kahila) bred and owned by Pyramid Stud from Germany. This mare later claimed the Silver medal in the senior mare championships. Bronze medal winner was Noor Magidaa LDA (Mishaal HP x Illa Magidaa LDA). This US bred beauty is in ownership of the very successful Hanaya Arabians from Switzerland and scored a total of 111 points in her class mares aged 4-5 years. Also the Stallion class was a real gem. The beautiful Laheeb al Nasser (Al Adeed al Shaqab x Bint Saida al Nasser) already started this season very successfully by claiming the gold medal at the recent Tulip Cup in Holland. This time he re-claimed his crown and was named Gold medal winner with the senior stallions, after winning his class of 6 years and older stallions with an impressive score of 112,5 points. Laheeb was bred by Al Nasser stud from Qatar and is currently owned by Hanaya Arabians from Switzerland! Second in this class with 109,75 points and Silver medal winner was Al Farid (Simeon Shai x Mohebah) bred and owned by Al Hambra Arabians from Austria. The Bronze medalist came from Italy. Bred and owned by La Frasera, Frasera Dubai (Phaaros x Frasera Mashara) scored a total of 108,5 points in his 4-5 years old stallion class. Last but not least there was also a class for the Most classic head. A class won by MAT Maxima (Al Lahab x MAT Amy) bred and owned by Eberlein/Beckstein from Germany.
