The much-awaited international ECAHO A Competition was held from March 20th to 22nd in Dubai, an incredible city that mesmerizes all those who come for a visit. Supported by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum - Deputy Ruler of Dubai. This venue is not only an important International world famous Show, but also represents at Dubai International Horse Fair a very important exhibition for artists, horse food suppliers, tack and riding accessories, etc. Al Jawad Al Arabi Magazine took a part also at DIHF. There was also a horse auction organized by Emirates Bloodstock. April 11

2 The president of the Organizing Committee was Mr. Galadari assisted by Messrs. Helal S. K. Al Marri, Ahmed Bin Hareb, Hussain Mohamed Hussain and Essam Abdulla. The General Manger of the event was Mr. Abdulrahman Obaid Belshawared helped by Mr. Qusai Obaidalla. The first category of yearling fillies was devided in two sections given the high number of entries. Section A was won Aj Sayeda (Vervaldee x Sweet Caroline LL) owned by H.H Shikha Amna bint Abdul Aziz Al Nuaimi of Ajman Stud (UAE). The second place was taken by Magnolia NWA (QR Marc x Maggie LEE) owned by Ajman Stud. The top place for section B easily won by the World Champion Aj Sawari (Marwan Al Shaqab x Siberia SA) owned by Ajman Stud. Winner of the second place was D Nawal, owned by Dubai Stud. Section A of the second category (two-year-old fillies) was won by Delights Divah RB (Ajman Moniscione x Honeys Delight RB) owned by Al Saayed Stud (KSA), followed in second place by Sahwat Al Khalediah, bred and owned by Al Khalediah Stables of H.H. Prince Khaled Bin Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud (KSA). Section B of the same category won by D Shahla (Marajj x FT Shaella) owned by Dubai Stud. Second place with an excellent overall score for the beautiful filly HC Frncisca. This wonderful filly owned by Sh. Mohamed Bin Saud Al Qasemi. Twenty one superb three-year-old fillies performed excellenty in front of the jury. The winner among them was the stunning filly Nastya OS (Marajj x AB Nastrapsy) owned 12 ALJAWAAD ALARABI

3 by Ajman Stud. Second place was taken by the Polish breed Perfinka (Esparto x Perfrka) owned by Sons of Mohamed Bin Abdullah Al Subaiee. Some wonderful mares aged 4 to 6 made the jury's task even more difficult thanks to their undisputed charm. The gorgeous Alma Al Tiglio (Ajman Moniscione x Amanda Al Tigio), won this category. This lovely mare owned by Buzzi Giancarlo & Ajman Stud. The second place went to another wonderful mare: Aya (Samurai Jaafar x Rasha) owned by Ajman Stud. The winner of the category reserved for mares aged 7 and 9 was Badawieh AA (Laheeb x Bahiha) owned by Ajman Stud. A great second place for the typey Najdah Al Zobair (Marwan Al Shaqab x JFN Bint Ludhan) owned by Al Zobair Stud. Seven beautiful mares aged 10 to more entered the arena, The winner of this category was won by the World Champion: Emandoria (Gazal Al Shaqab x Emanda par) owned by Ajman Stud. Second place was taken by Atheena (Ashhal Al Rayyan x Ass-Windi) owned by Al Khalediah Stables. The category of yearling colts was also devided in two sections. The winner of section A was the amazing colt Loay Al Khalediah Al Thani (El Palacio VO x Liayla) owned by Al Khalediah Stables, followed by Ghazi Al Khazna (Kahil Al Shaqab x Groteska) owned by Ali Ghanem Ali Humaila Al Mazroui of Al Khazna Stud. 4 Section B was won by D Khattaf (Royal Colours x D Jowan). The second place went to D Mshary (QR Marc x FT Shaella). Both these remarkable colts owned by Dubai Stud. The Top place in the category of two-year-old colts was won by the outstanding Moharib Al Khazna (Ab Jamil La Piana x Caterina FM) owned by Al Khazna Stud. Winner of the second place was Magic of El Shawan (FA El Shawan x WA Priscilla) owned by Al Sakab Stud. In the category of three-year-old colts, the top place was won by the multiwinner FA El Rasheem (Fa El Shawan x Virtuosa MLR) owned by Dubai Stud. Second place went to JM Aramis (Stival x Alba Moniscione) owned by Al Aryam Arabians. The category of stallions aged 4 to 6 was won by the beautiful stallion Fakhr Al Khalediah (Marquis CAHR x Barah Al Khalediah) owned by Al Khalediah Stables. The second place was taken by D Al Hareth (Royal Colours x Kar Hacina) owned by Al Tayar Arabian Horse Stud. The category of stallions aged 7 to 9 was won by the excellent Abha Qatar (Marwan Al Shaqab x ZT Ludjkalba Bar) owned by Al Mohamadiah Stud. In second place was Eden C (Enzo x Silken Sable) owned by Al Sayed Stud. The last Category had only 7 participants but they were of incredibly high standard. The winner of the first place was the World Champion stallion Marquis (Marwan Al Shaqab x Rohara Magnifica) owned by Al Khalediah Stables. The second place went to the World Champion Al Lahab (Laheeb x The Vision HG) owned by Ajman Stud. The choreography and the shows that the organizers offered to the spectators were really worth all the applauses. There was nothing missing from this show. The final championship was honoured by the presence of H.H. Sh. Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice- President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, who did not want to miss this event.
