3 The sire and sire- line The sire: SNITZEL The grand- sire : REDOUTE S CHOICE SNITZEL re5red to stud in Australia in 2006 and Japan in On the track, he won the Group 1 Oakleigh Plate (1100m) amongst his seven wins (four as a two- year- old). He is now is one of the brightest young stallions in the country. He finished second in the Australian 2013/14 Sires Premiership despite having the least amount of runners of any stallion in the top eight, and 44 less runners than his premiership winning sire, REDOUTE'S CHOICE. SNITZEL sired the winners of more stakes races (13 individual stakes winners of 21 stakes races) than any other sire in Australia for the season. With another racing crop on the ground, SNITZEL looks set to be a big chance of securing the 2014/15 Sires Premiership. As at 31 August 2014, SNITZEL has sires 243 winners (68.2% winners/runners). Of those, 23 are stakes winners including Group 1 winners SHAMUS AWARD, SNITZERLAND and SIZZLING. His progeny perform well as two- year- olds, with 13 stakes winners in that age group. But as SNITZERLAND, SIZZLING, HOT SNIZTEL and recent Group 2 winner SWEET IDEA have shown, his progeny progress as three- year- olds and look set to display longevity as his racing crop ages. REDOUTE S CHOICE, is nothing short of a Champion sire. He is by the undisputed legend DANEHILL, out of SHANTHA S CHOICE. She is a half- sister to the Group 1 winners HURRICANE SKY and UMATILLA, and producer of Group 1 winners PLATINUM SCISSORS and MANHATTAN RAIN. REDOUTE S CHOICE raced up to his pedigree, winning five of his 10 starts, four at Group 1 level. He re5red to stud in 2000 and has shusled to France for the past two seasons where he has been given great support. He has been Champion Sire in Australia in , and again in 2013/2014, siring well over 100 stakes winners. He is a dominant sire of sires and set to create his own dynasty much like his sire DANEHILL, and his grand- sire DANZIG. Ten sons of REDOUTE S CHOICE have already lef stakes winners. They include STRATUM (sire of 19 stakes winners including three Group 1 winners), NOT A SINGLE DOUBT (sire of 15 stakes winners including Group 1 winners) and SNITZEL himself. All but two of his ten Group 1- winning colts are, or have been at stud. A Group 1 winning sprinter hailing from the DANZIG / DANEHILL / REDOUTE S CHOICE sire- line, SNIZTEL is now of the brightest young stallions in Australia.

4 The dam and dam- line The dam: DIVISIBLE, and her family This colt is the first foal of lightly raced imported mare DIVISIBLE. She was unplaced in her three career starts in France. But on the strength of her pedigree, she went to stud and this colt is her first foal. DIVISIBLE is a daughter of Champion Stallion GIANT S CAUSEWAY and the Stakes placed ADD who has already produced three stakes performers including the G2 winning UK sprinter LIZARD ISLAND and US stakes winner INFLATE. Two of her sister s ADDITIVE and MULTIPLY (both non- winners) have gone on to be successful broodmares. ADDITIVE is the dam of G3 winner SIX OF HEARTS. MULTIPLY has lef the G1 winning CORINTHIAN and DESERT HERO (Group 2 winner and G1 placed). Stakes placed grand- dam ADD (by SPECTACULAR BID) is one of her dam s nine winners. She is a half sister to the G1 winning juvenile JADE ROBBERY and the G3 winners CHEQUER and NUMEROUS. This colt is a direct descendent of the great mares, SPECIAL (4th dam), THONG (5th dam) and ROUGH SHOD (6th dam). Female line descendants of ROUGH SHOD include 35 individual Group 1 winners and Champion Stallions SADLER S WELLS (sired an incredible 73 individual Group 1 winners), NUREYEV (29 Group 1 winners) and FAIRY KING. Local G1 sprinter NORTHERN METEOR, a sire sensa5on before sadly dying young, is also a member of this interna5onally prolific family Interna5onal G1 winners BLAME, TATE GALLERY, BIENAMADO, KING PELLINORE, FATHERLAND, BACHEOR DUKE, ALMA MATER, EL CONDOR PASA and BLUE TOSCA all hail from the immediate family. DIVISIBLE s pedigree is strongly influenced by the world s most prolific stallion family, that descending from LADY JOSEPHINE. The dam- sire: GIANT S CAUSEWAY GIANT S CAUSEWAY (the best son of the great stallion STORM CAT) won nine and ran second in four of his 13 career starts. He won six 5mes at Group 1 level from 1400m to 2100m. As a sire, he has been a Champion stallion. He has sired champion 2- y- o s, classic winning 3- y- o s, and record breaking older horses. His progeny have won in excess of 260 stakes races and $140 million in prize money. He has sired 28 individual Group 1 winners including successful stallion SHAMARDAL (won four 5mes at G1 level) and JUSTE MOMENTE who won the G1 SAJC Robert Sangster Stakes in Australia. He is now proving himself as an elite broodmare sire. His daughters are responsible for 35 individual stakes winners (nine individual Group 1 winners) including VERRAZANO (mul5ple G1 winner in USA and G1 placed in UK), PLANTEUR (winner of G1 Prix Ganay in FRA and mul5ple stakes winner in UK) and SOFT FALLING RAIN (G1 winner in SAF and mul5ple Group winner in SAF and Dubai). GIANT S CAUSEWAY has been a more prevalent broodmare sire in the US through opportunity. But he has been successful in Australia with fewer opportuni5es. His daughters have thrown four stakes winners, including G1 winner ESCADO (G1 SA Derby) and Group winners SE SAUVER and PLATINUM KINGDOM. 22% of SNITZEL s stakes winners are out of imported mares. This filly s female family is truly internasonal.

5 Pedigree Analysis Line breeding: This colt boasts a 4 X 4 cross of the outstanding racehorse and stallion STORM BIRD. SNITZEL s dual G2 winner TIME FOR WAR and three 5mes Listed winner AMORINO are also line- bred to him. He is also 5 X 4 NIJINKSY II to whom SNITZEL s W.S Cox Plate winner SHAMUS AWARD is also line- bred. He boasts an amazing six crosses of the immortal NORTHERN DANCER, who picks up extremely well with strains of his own family such as the two in this colt; DANEHILL and HALO. He also has a cross of SOMETHINGROYAL, one of the great modern- day line- breeding subjects who appears through her two sons SECRETARIAT and SIR GAYLORD. He has a high degree of background female line- breeding with duplica5ons of the wonderful mares LA TROIENNE, ADMIRATION and SUNMELIA to name a few. REDOUTE S CHOICE has had success with mares that have a significant concentra5on of LADY JOSEPHINE, reinforcing that strength in his dam- sire Canny Lad. SNITZEL looks set to con5nue that trend.
